Synopsis
Sniper Breaker has the reputation among the Breakneck MC as the brother looking for love. Deadly accurate with a gun, his skills protect him from the chaos that surrounds, but nothing will protect his heart. The brother that cares the most openly might be the one who gets hurt the worst.

Crystal Spears Breakneck Series is always a MUST READ for me and whenever one comes out I cannot wait to get my hands on it an devour it (usually in one sitting!) Often I start this series with the intention of reading a bit and then getting stuff done around the house but end up sitting and reading for hours and throwing some crackers at the kids and praying for a bit of quiet so I can continue to get lost inside this complicated and exciting world!
“What in the hell am I gonna do with you, darling?”
While there has not been a book or novella in the Breakneck series I haven’t loved this one might just be my absolute favorite so far! I say so far because Crystal seems to only get better and better and I cannot wait to see what else is to come in this bloody and passionate saga!
“I thought we were real, our friendship was real, and it wasn’t.”
The root of my love for this book is that the relationship between Sniper and Piper is based of a deep love they share . . . as BEST FRIENDS!! That’s right these two are best friends and both are weary of any other kind of relationship between them. After an ecstasy filled night had them having sex (multiple times), things are tense and both are determined to move on and continue as best friends but never forgetting the unbelievable night they shared.
“And for the first time in my entire life. I’m scared. I am downright fucking petrified. That girl means everything to me. She is my ALL.”
Nothing is ever safe on the Breakneck compound and soon we find everyone on lockdown as war is brewing. Before long tragedy is striking (as if you didn’t know that was coming I mean it is a Crystal Spears given at this point) and while everyone is rushing to make things right Sniper and Piper must finally attempt to figure out what it is they are doing with each other and if they can keep fighting what they are feeling.
“I am in so deep. So deep, that even if I wanted, I couldn’t escape to the surface if I tried.”
I just need to say that I WANT AND NEED a Sniper. He was scary and romantic, sweet and protective and watching them interact as friends and how much they truly cared for each other was beautiful! I desperately want more from this couple and more from thee series as a whole!
