She hates the way he gets inside her head.
He likes the way she lets him see glimpses of her heart.

Review

Andie and Roman have had a very volatile relationship….if you can even call it a relationship. With Roman being the one trying to convince Andie that there is more between them than just sex and Andie having none of it and refusing to let Roman in. But when those two little lines show up on the pregnancy stick, Andie has no choice but to try and let Roman into her life and heart because Roman refuses to give up on the woman who drives him insane but he also adores and now that his unborn child is in the mix…nothing will stop him winning Andie’s trust and heart.

“Andie. A chick with a guy’s nickname and the mouth of a sailor. And a thirst for physical violence when I’m pissed.”

Wow….Andie and Roman were a complicated pair. There really was a lot of tension and resistance, especially from Andie about their potential relationship and I actually loved reading about it. It was refreshing that a haters to lovers story actually had a couple who didn’t easily come together or fit together. It made for a very packed full of emotion read!

“I care about you. You’re the one I want. And you do care about happily ever afters, despite what you think, because I know you’re excited about having this baby with me.”

Andie was one hell of a woman! She was very fiesty, independent and determined. On the other side of it though you could tell her sometime mean behaviour toward Roman was due to her being scared to let others in and the hurt from her past, which added a vulnerability to her otherwise strong persona and made her more relatable. I also thought she was hilarious!

“I promise you I’m going to give you everything you didn’t even know you wanted. I’m going to give you what you think you don’t want as well. You’re just going to have to trust me.”

Roman was a great alpha male. His determination and dedication to making Andie’s his, was swoon worthy and sigh emitting. I loved his love for Andie, it was beautiful to read. No matter what Andie threw at him, he wasn’t giving up and was determined to prove to her that he loved her and wouldn’t hurt her.

“We’re two stars on a collision course for each other. There is no orbiting around one another like some sweet love story. Our story is different. Our story is explosive. Our story is chaotic. Our story is my favorite.”

The story itself was a lot of fun to read. We come into this book in a middle of a storm and it doesn’t let out until the very end. Andie was a hilarious pregnant woman and I was laughing out loud through a lot of the story. But we also had some very sweet and tender moments and I loved seeing Andie’s walls gradually begin to lower and watch Roman and Andie’s relationship develop. Just a fun, sweet, easy read, perfect for a lazy afternoon of reading.
