Review
One of the main reasons why I absolutely adore reading Kristen Proby books is because they warm your heart and soul. The With Me In Seattle series is wonderful and I was thrilled when she announced her new series, Love Under the Big Sky. In this first book of the series, we meet Cara. She is a school teacher in a small Montana town and she loves it. She takes great pride in being a stand-up citizen in the town she grew-up in. Her overall joyous and can-do attitude is infectious. She’s very sweet, self-assured as well as self-reliant. She is asked to be a tutor for the summer to a young boy that is having extra troubles, Seth. He needs guidance and Cara agrees to tutoring him. Little did she know, it would lead her to love under the Big Sky.
Seth has been dropped off with his grandparents and Uncle Josh at their ranch by his heinous mother. She is simply atrocious and Seth’s father, Zack, is stuck overseas fighting for America. Well lucky for everyone, Cara swoops in and is able to break thru with Seth. They form a nice bond built on trust and even though he is a young kid, having to deal with his mother’s lies about his father, he stuggles to do what is right.
Now Cara has known the King family her whole life growing up in a small town. Josh King is now, very awawre of Cara and all of her amazingness. He doesn’t stop trying to win her heart from the moment she takes the tutoring job. Their love is very passionate and intense and very, very sweet. I loved all the fun characters in this first book and can’t wait for more from this new series. Josh and Cara are sweet and I just loved the Alpha hot man that came out to play. Josh is sexy, sexy. Another winner from Kristen Proby. This series is nicely balanced between sweet, sexy and mysterious. I can’t wait for more!
