SYNOPSIS:

REVIEW:
I’m a huge fan of Lani Lynn Vale’s, and I’m really enjoying this sports romance series. Lani always adds a suspenseful element to her stories, and while this series is a bit lighter-hearted than her others, it definitely has some intrigue co-mingled with the romance. While the There’s No Crying in Baseball series is a world within one of Vale’s existing worlds, this series can definitely be read on its own and would be a great place for a new reader to start.
I loved Rhys and Henley! He was the bad boy baseball player with a heart of gold who falls hard for the sweet, good-girl next door. Right from the start, this story drew me in and held all of my attention—I positively devoured it and didn’t want to put it down, in large part because I adored this couple so much. Rhys was so protective, sweet and tender with Henley, and she was fiercely loyal, always having his back. Their romance was quick and hot, but it was the absolute adoration they had for each other that made my heart race.
Listen Pitch was one of the sweetest romances Lani has written with a couple who were in sync in every way. Vale has built yet another fictional world—with plenty of interesting side characters whose stories I am dying to for—that I cannot wait to visit again.
