The Learning Hours by Sara Ney Review
5 Smooches
Synopsis
He’s not a douchebag;
but that doesn’t stop his friends from
turning him into one.
MY FRIENDS WANT ME TO GET LAID.
So much so that they plastered my ugly mug all over campus, in bold printed letters:
Are you the lucky lady who’s going to break our roommate’s cherry?
Him: socially awkward man with average-sized penis looking for willing sexual partner. You: must have pulse. Text him at: 555-254-5551
The morons can’t even spell. And the texts I’ve been receiving are what wet dreams are made of. But I’m not like these douchebags, no matter how hard they try to turn me into one.
THIS ISN’T THE KIND OF ATTENTION I WANT.
One text stands out from hundreds. One number I can’t bring myself to block. She seems different. Hotter, even in black and white.
However, after seeing her in person, I know she’s not the girl for me. But my friends won’t let up—they just don’t get it. Douchebags or not, there’s one thing they’ll never understand: GIRLS DON’T WANT ME.
Especially her.
Review
GAH! I just love when Sara Ney gives me NA goodness and this was the bees knees. I LOVED it.
Okay, let’s get real here and I gotta tell you that I can’t talk much about the plot or character because . . . well . . . spoilers!!! SO where does that leave me. Well, lets start with the writing. Sara Ney excels at righting New Adult romance. I discovered her a while back and have been reading her since before her career really took off and with every book she releases she only seems to get better and better. Now, let’s talk feelings. I went through the whole spectrum while reading. I honestly had so many things I was supposed to be doing but somehow could not make myself put this book down. It was just gold and I loved every second of it.
If you are looking for a truly amazing book that will make you swoon, ache, and smile. It was perfection and I urge you to go grab this one now and start it immediately.

4 Smooches
Synopsis

Everything changes, however, after Fawn runs into Levi Fremont, a homicide detective new to New York City.
Dedication to the job has rendered Levi’s love life nonexistent—until he moves in next door to the free-spirited Fawn. After a series of comedic run-ins push them together, will they finally give in to the inevitable and realize—maybe—they are perfect for each other?
Review
Who doesn’t love an Aurora alpha. I know I do. This was a nice change of pace, instead of being a small town romance, Running Into Love, takes place in NYC.
Running Into Love is a sweet and fun easy read. This would be perfect for reading on the beach or curling up in a chair on a rainy day. Low on angst but full of the Aurora alpha-ness we have all grown to love along with her unique since of humor. I personally love the way Aurora weaves her wit into her stories. I enjoy each one immensely and this was no different.
Running Into Love was probably one of Aurora’s best written/edited books but I would have loved for the drama in the story to be just a bit more. Still I read it straight through in a day and had a smile on my face the whole time.

On A Tuesday by Whitney G. Review
4 Smooches
Synopsis
We met on a Tuesday.
Became best friends, then lovers, on a Tuesday.
And everything fell apart on a Tuesday…
Charlotte Taylor has three automatic strikes in my book: 1) She hates me. She also claims that I’m a “domineering jerk with a huge, overbearing ego.” (I do have something huge. It’s not my ego, though.) 2) She takes our mandatory tutoring sessions way too seriously. 3) She’s sexy as hell…And a virgin.
At least, those were her strikes before our study sessions started lasting longer than they were supposed to. Until one innocent kiss became a hundred dirty ones, and until she became the first woman I ever fell hard for.
Our future together after graduation was supposed to be set:
Professional football for me. Law school for her.
But she left me at the end of the semester with no explanation, and then she completely disappeared from my life.
Until tonight.
We met on a Tuesday.
Became everything, then nothing, on a Tuesday.
And now it’s seven years later, on a Tuesday…
Review
On A Tuesday is a second chance romance that pulled at my heartstrings and made me smile.
Grayson and Charlotte met and fell in love when she was his tutor. They fell hard and fast but fast forward seven years and they don’t talk, they aren’t friend, and both holds a lot of resentment towards the other. Something went down and needing to know what happened drove me to keep turning pages. I needed to know. NEEDED. On A Tuesday mixed two of my favorite genres, NA and pro-football, in a book that spanned years and had me feeling a range of emotions.
Overall, this was a sweet New Adult romance. I am a huge fan of Whitney’s writing style and this was no different. She mixed sex, fun, a great story, and a unique idea all together and I know you all will enjoy this as much as I did.

REVIEW:
As a long-time Lani Lynn Vale fan, I’ve been anxious for the Hail Raisers series since the Hail brothers started popping up in her previous works. Vale started her writing career with a romantic suspense series about a covert group of men, working out of a mechanic garage, who also rescued women from abusive relationships and gave them the opportunity to start over. From that series came three MC romance series, a SWAT team series and another about firefighters and paramedics. She’s even branched out with a series about dragons and another about baseball players. Even though she’s written three best-selling MC romance series, readers shouldn’t mistake this series for one. Because while the Hail Raisers are a loosely organized group of pleasure bikers, Vale is clearly returning to her romantic suspense roots with this series, and I couldn’t be more excited.
Hail No starts off with a punch to the feels courtesy of a hero who broke my heart and a heroine that my heart went out to. Fresh out of prison for a crime that he didn’t commit, Evander is beaten down enough that he just accepts the scorn he receives from the residents of his hometown, Hostel, Texas. What he won’t accept, however, is his military service dog turned pet’s caregiver attempting to keep said dog when he returns from prison—a notion that the dog hilariously wasn’t willing to accept either. Van was so focused on not tainting the few people left in his life with his sullied reputation, that he almost missed on something truly special in Kennedy. He was such a strong, stoic character, and I ached for how isolated he felt.
Kennedy has never felt more alone. Following the death of her mother, she just wants somewhere to belong. Her mother’s deathbed confession rocked her world and sent her off in search of a father and two siblings she didn’t remember. They didn’t exactly welcome her with open arms, though, and were quite content to hold her at arms’ length before they eventually pushed her away. Even as she tried to start a life for herself in Hostel, fate seemed to have other plans for her. Just when she was about to throw in the towel, a big, bossy, sometimes silent savior stepped in and saved the day. The problem was that he was also intent on saving her from the judgment of others for merely associating with him. It took a series of mishaps, missteps and murders for Van to stop fighting the inevitable. The past seems poised to repeat itself, and Van scrambles to get to the bottom of who is behind it and why before it can drag him—and Kennedy—down again.
This was a couple that I couldn’t help but root for— they were just so sweet, so genuine and so sexy together, and I loved them together right from the start! I’m always excited for a book from Lani Lynn Vale, and I’ve never been disappointed with anything she’s ever written. I’m thrilled that this series is off to such fantastic start with what I believe is some Vale’s best writing to date. A twisting, turning, richly-developed suspense plot running in tandem with a red-hot romance and liberally sprinkled with Lani’s quirky sense of humor is a guaranteed hit for me. Five smooches for Hail No by Lani Lynn Vale from me!

The NFL is full of rules. Rules I’ve never broken. Never challenged. Never even scratched–until the day Lucas Carrington crashes into my life with his hard body and I-don’t-give-a-f*ck attitude.
After I almost injure my father’s star player, I volunteer to make sure he’s in top shape. At first, it’s hell. I don’t like his cockiness, his easy smile. Don’t like the way he oozes sex. Or how his penetrating eyes follow me everywhere.

Review
Lucas has dreamed of the moment he would be drafted but when fate steps in and he is drafted by his home city, a city he couldn’t wait to get out of, he knows he has to suck it up and accept it. So he does. After all, he is still doing what he loves. His attitude isn’t as easy to get over though and it might lose him his shot. Gillian may be the coaches daughter but that doesn’t mean she’s terrified she might have injured the new star quarterback and it doesn’t stop her feeling instantly attracted to him. Will Gillian and Lucas be able to come together under the pressure of the football world and with a dad who would not understand? Or will the obstacles and the pressure to keep their relationship secret be enough to keep them apart?
“A feeling coursed through me that everything in the world was somehow right. And that’s when I knew . . . I really did have it all.”
I have to admit that I’m not normally a lover of sports romance books and I wouldn’t seek them out. But this one easily grabbed my attention. The characters instantly drew me in and the love story was intense, heart breaking, beautiful and passionate all at the same time.
“Our need for each other kept building. Higher and higher. On the edge, I wanted more. I had to have more.”
Lucas was one hot, broody, football player! Even though he definitely had a chip on his shoulder I pretty much instantly fell for Lucas. It was obvious from the begging that he worked so hard to get where he was and that life hadn’t been easy. I admired his determination and even though he definitely had a cocky side, he was also very flirty and good at it and as the story progressed his romantic and passionate side came out. Gillian was also an instant like for me. She was also determined and a really strong woman in my eyes. Despite being such a mans world, she had both feet firmly planted and knew what she wanted. She was also sweet and funny and held her own against Lucas.
“What I didn’t know then was that was only the start of the dominos I couldn’t stop from falling.”
This story was definitely a mix of sports and romance. Lucas’s dream of playing football professionally played a big role and because of how much I loved Lucas it became a gripping part of the story for me. I was desperate for all his hard work to pay off and for nothing to jeopardise it. Obviously the relationship between Lucas and Gillian kept me hooked. You know it’s not going to be an easy ride with the secrets, lies and each of their determination to reach the top of their careers. It was intense and there is definite heartbreak and I was biting my nails waiting for Gillian’s dad to find them! But there is also so much passion and beautiful moments between them both that had me swooning and wishing for my own broody football player. Overall, this was a top sport romance with two, (yes two!!), brilliant epilogues!

Stud Finder by Lauren Blakely Review
5 SMOOCHES!
SYNOPSIS:
Man seeking woman: Hot, rich, smart, witty, self-made multimillionaire Internet genius seeks classy, intelligent, sexy, fun-loving woman who’s interested in settling down and sharing all the good things.
There. Best. Ad. Ever.
I will absolutely find the woman of my dreams, someone who’ll love me for me. Even if my sister thinks I need help dating, I’m confident I can pull this off, courtesy of the great worldwide web.
Let me just hit the upload button right now…
***
No. Just no. As a woman and a professional matchmaker, I can’t let Dylan Parker run this ad. He’s the catch of all catches. That’s why his sister has asked me to help her ridiculously good-looking, insanely rich, but socially clueless brother find a woman. As a broker of happily ever afters, I’m known as the Stud Finder since I make a great living pairing wildly successful women with men who won’t fleece them but will adore them. After all, what woman in her right mind wouldn’t fall in love with Dylan?
I mean, besides me. It totally won’t be me.
REVIEW:
At this point in my Lauren Blakely fandom, I don’t even have to read the blurb to know that I’m going to buy and read (and love) the book. A full-length novel or sexy little novella, a new story from her is an event for me, one that I not only look forward to but I also plan the day around. It doesn’t even matter what trope it is – friends to lovers, second chances, best friend’s little sister – I know that I’m going to get wrapped up in whatever world she’s created and enjoy the heck out of the trip. Her writing never fails to entertain me, to make my heart race and to bring a smile to my face. This kind of consistency, both in terms of quality storytelling and reader reaction, is rare and special, and it’s one of the many reasons why Lauren Blakely is such a standout author for me.
In Stud Finder, a standalone novella in the 1001 Dark Nights series, Ms. Blakely takes on the hot nerd trope, and she did it with spectacular results. Her spin on it, with a professional matchmaker heroine who is also a friend of the hero’s sister, was fresh, fun and heart-flutteringly flirty. Don’t let the length of the story deter you, either, because she packed a heck of a lot of story into this perfectly paced, richly developed novella.
“…this woman… She’s the one I want.”
Dylan is the whole package—handsome, smart, rich and an absolute sweetheart—and I found his dating naïveté very endearing. An internet entrepreneur who sold his business for millions at a very young age, he’s a firm believer in the world wide web as the way to find, well, just about anything, so it seems logical to him to use it to find the woman of his dreams. Quickly overwhelmed and a bit disillusioned by the responses to his ad on a dating site, he realizes that he’s going to need some help finding this woman. So, it’s a good thing that his sister is friends with the just person to help Dylan out. What he wasn’t expecting, though, was being so attracted to the matchmaker herself.
“I want this man. I want him so much.”
Evie’s so focused on building her business and other peoples’ relationships, she doesn’t have time for one herself. Even if she did, though, it seems her time is mostly spent with clients, and that is an ethical line she just won’t allow herself cross. She goes all-in to help Dylan, including some one-on-one dating instruction to prepare him for his dates. When their effortlessly witty banter and flirty, fun “practice” dates start to breach the boundary Evie has set for herself, she’s got a tough decision to make—go against the matchmaker’s cardinal rule or give into the attraction simmering between them.
“…there’s nothing more to say. There’s only the sheer honesty of this moment. When you finally give in. When you finally admit. When you finally know.”
Right from the start, I couldn’t help but root for this couple. Stud Finder was an addictively slow burning story, but my Kindle was positively smoking when Evie and dirty-talking Dylan finally gave in to the chemistry sizzling between them. I devoured this sexy, sweet, quick-reading romance in a single sitting, smiling wide and fanning myself the whole way through. Five smooches from me for Lauren Blakely’s Stud Finder!

Untamable by Jamie Schlosser Sneak Peek

http://bit.ly/UntamableTBR

EXCLUSIVE EXCERPT:
Red spots began soaking through Emery’s gray T-shirt.
“Oh my God. You’re bleeding.” I pointed at his chest. “I’m so sorry.”
He just laughed. “Occupational hazard. We have a medic on hand for that very reason. Besides, it’s not like you didn’t warn me.”
His words summoned a brunette carrying a first aid kit.
“You know the drill,” she said, grinning at him while she opened the case and started lining up her supplies on the kitchen table.
Emery grabbed the back of his T-shirt and pulled it over his head, being careful not to disrupt the wires from his mic.
Suddenly, it felt like all the air had been sucked out of the room. The thin material had done little to hide the muscle definition underneath, but at least then I couldn’t see his smooth skin.
His nipples.
The ridges of his abs and that highly coveted V by his hips.
A thin smattering of hair covered his chest, traveling down the center of his abs and below his belly button. The light brown trail disappeared into the waist of his jeans.
I wanted to run my fingers over it. All of it. Even the parts I couldn’t see.
I was looking at the most magnificent torso ever—not just in real life—in the entire damn universe. He had movie stars and models beat. I remembered watching a video of Charlie Hunnam training for an upcoming role, and I’d been in awe of the amount of work it took to look that good.
Regular people didn’t just go walking around in that kind of shape. Apparently, Emery didn’t fall into the category of ‘regular people.’
And God bless him for it.
Feeling weak in the knees, I leaned my hip against the counter and wondered if I was the only one affected. Everyone else went about their tasks as usual. Well, everyone except for the medic.
After taking a seat, Emery said something to her about not using bandages this time, and her response was a nervous giggle. She quickly cleaned the area with disinfectant, then put cream over the scratches.
Red-faced, she slowly backed away as Emery slipped a new shirt on.
A different kind of heat flared through me, but this one was familiar and much more unpleasant than the virus I was fighting off.
Jealousy.
I was jealous that she got to touch him.
I made a face, because that was ridiculous. Emery was here to work, not get eye-fucked by the crazy cat lady.
The hot-and-bothered medic taped a sign to the wall by the door. In big letters, it said, ‘Do not leave door open. Mike will run.’ It made my sudden desire to claw her eyes out diminish.
She was just doing her job.
Psycho much, Estelle?
Opening my cabinet, I grabbed the bottle of Tylenol and choked down a couple pills along with my sweet tea.
I extended the medicine toward Emery. “Want some?”
“Nah,” he replied. “It doesn’t hurt that bad.”
“That happens a lot, doesn’t it?” I lightly accused.
“Getting mauled by cats?” He laughed. “More times than I can count.”
“No.” I tipped my head toward the flushed woman retreating from my apartment. “People losing their shit every time you take your shirt off.”
