About the Book

BecauseofLila_Amazon_iBooksPrim, proper, classic good girl, and her least favorite label – icy.

Lila Kate Carter has heard them all. The last one, being the newest. She is not icy. She just doesn’t care for Cruz Kerrington and his spoiled, selfish, careless ways. That doesn’t make her icy, that makes him a jerk!

Tired of being labeled and doing what is expected of her, Lila Kate leaves Rosemary Beach, Florida ready for an adventure. Wanting to recreate herself, find a new path, and become something more.

Eli Hardy is tired of women who always act the same, do the same thing and expect the same thing. He’s ready to swear off women until he can get the rest of his life together.

Two weeks into his no-women-rule he meets Lila. She’s so damn sweet and polite. Like she walked right out of an etiquette book. But he’d already been drunk before she walked in so there was a good chance she might not be as stunning and perfect as he thinks. He’s just too drunk to worry about that.

The next morning, he swears he can still smell her on his skin. He just can’t remember why or what happened after that third dance.

Their worlds are about to collide, and so are the secrets and lies.

“Sawyer Bennett never fails to deliver heroes I fall hard for and heroines I adore.”—Violet Duke

Eden Goodnight went to Los Angeles to make it big, not to be publicly humiliated by her cheating fiancé at a red-carpet premiere. But when Eden returns to her hometown to put the scandal behind her, she can barely find a sympathetic shoulder to cry on. But in a strange twist of fate, the one person who seems to understand what Eden’s going through is Cooper Mayfield . . . the boy she left behind.

Small-town charm is no match for the glitz and glamour of Hollywood. At least that’s what Coop’s been telling himself all these years. Synopsis

Mona Lisa St. James made a deathbed promise that she would do anything to save her mother’s art gallery. Unfortunately, not only is The Red painted red, but it’s in the red. She soon realizes she has no choice but to sell it.

Just as she realizes she has no choice but to sell it, a mysterious man comes in after closing time and makes her an offer: He will save The Red if she agrees to submit to him for the period of one year.

The man is handsome, English, and terribly tempting…but surely her mother didn’t mean for Mona to sell herself to a stranger. Then again, she did promise to do anything to save The Red…

The Red is a standalone novel of erotic fantasy from Tiffany Reisz, international bestselling author of The Bourbon Thief and the Original Sinners series.

REVIEW

Mona promised her mother right before she died that she would do anything to save the family art gallery and with the gallery in loads of debt she knows something drastic must happen to help save it. So when a mysterious, handsome British man promises to do just that, Mona sees an opportunity to keep her promise and agrees to his terms…and those terms are to submit to him completely and wholly for a year. Thus commences an intense and passionate year of submission to Malcom but all is not as it seems with the mysterious Malcom…

“You smile like the devil,” Mona said. “The devil doesn’t smile,” he said. “The devil smirks.” “You speak as if you know him.” “Would it shock you if I said I did?”

OH.MY.HOTNESS!!! This is one of my favourite erotic reads that I have read! It was so intense, so dirty, so filled with exotic pleasure and sexual fantasies, beyond what I could dream up, and the slight fantasy element was completely unexpected and unlike anything I have read before. I honestly could not put this book down and wish it didn’t end!

“He looked even more like the devil than ever. A dashing devil. Despite her fear, she liked looking at him. He didn’t seem dangerous. No, he seemed terribly dangerous.”

I really don’t want to give too much away because everything is not as it seems with Malcom and his sexual fantasies that he creates but you honestly won’t see it coming or be able to guess what it could be. It was brilliant twist in my eyes and just added another level to the story. What I can say is that this was a very, very hot and dirty read indeed and I could not get enough. The situations Malcom creates were so intense and different to normal erotica reads and I was drawn into them I completely forgot to highlight my favourite bits because I was so entranced!

“Beautiful girl,” he murmured against her lips. She wanted to tear off his fine white linen cravat and lick the hollow of his throat. She would have kissed it and bitten it. She would have drunk wine out of it. She hadn’t given that hollow a second thought until it was covered and hidden from her view.”

I loved how confident Mona was and how she owned what she was doing. Yes she was afraid or unsettled at times (who wouldn’t be?!) but she still gave off such a confident and sexy vibe of herself and wasn’t ashamed of who she was or what she was doing and I loved that. Malcom…well there are no words for Malcom. He was dirty and yet charming, sexy and mysterious, imaginative and magical, and I completely fell for him.

I can’t sing my praises enough for this story and I wish it didn’t end. A thrilling, intense erotica read unlike anything you have ever read before!

“No passion, no emotion, no originality—a train
wreck of epic portions.”
Those were the words to describe Eve Thorton’s exhibition. Not even a
fine arts degree from Yale or her daddy’s bank account could save her from the
scathing reviews. And failure was a word Eve would never be comfortable with.
Not even close.
Plotting the demise of every critic who’d written her off was her first
instinct. But that would come later. Instead, she would show them that she
wasn’t a bored socialite with more money than talent.
She would prove everyone wrong, and she wasn’t afraid to get her hands
dirty. But when her journey for redemption crashed headfirst into Josh Logan,
the sexy, talented tattooist from Queens, getting her hands dirty took
on a whole new meaning.
Josh was everything Eve wasn’t, translating on skin what she couldn’t
onto her canvas. All she had to do was convince him to share his jaw-dropping
brilliance, and help her—seeing him naked—a bonus. Then she could go back to
her regular life, vindicated.
It should have been easy. Pity her plans had a habit of derailing.

Author Bio

T Gephart is an indie author from Melbourne, Australia.T’s approach to life has been somewhat unconventional. Rather than going to University, she jumped on a plane to Los Angeles, USA in search of adventure. While this first trip left her somewhat underwhelmed and largely depleted of funds it fueled her appetite for travel and life experience.

With a rather eclectic resume, which reads more like the fiction she writes than an actual employment history, T struggled to find her niche in the world.

While on a subsequent trip the United States in 1999, T met and married her husband. Their whirlwind courtship and interesting impromptu convenience store wedding set the tone for their life together, which is anything but ordinary. They have lived in Louisiana, Guam and Australia and have traveled extensively throughout the US. T has two beautiful young children and one four legged child, Woodley, the wonder dog.

An avid reader, T became increasingly frustrated by the lack of strong female characters in the books she was reading. She wanted to read about a woman she could identify with, someone strong, independent and confident and who didn’t lack femininity. Out of this need, she decided to pen her first book, A Twist of Fate. T set herself the challenge to write something that was interesting, compelling and yet easy enough to read that was still enjoyable. Pulling from her own past “colorful” experiences and the amazing personalities she has surrounded herself with, she had no shortage of inspiration. With a strong slant on erotic fiction, her core characters are empowered women who don’t have to sacrifice their femininity. She enjoyed the process so much that when it was over she couldn’t let it go.

T loves to travel, laugh and surround herself with colorful characters. This inevitably spills into her writing and makes for an interesting journey – she is well and truly enjoying the ride!

Based on her life experiences, T has plenty of material for her books and has a wealth of ideas to keep you all enthralled.

REVIEW

Eve comes home after being torn apart at her first art showing hoping to find her loving boyfriend to get some support but what she finds instead is him cheating on her. After she throws him out and a rather unexpected conversation with the girl he was cheating on her with Eve decided she needs to try something different to get back to her love of being an artist. What she didn’t count on was not only falling back in love with art and discovering new passions but that she would also start to fall for owner of the tattoo shop- josh! Things are about to be thrown into a whirlwind for Eve but maybe that’s exactly what she needs!

“This girl was going to be the death of me. She had me twisted in knots I had no hope untying. Not that I wanted to.”

I really enjoyed this read and thought the story line was slightly different to other romances out there currently. The back drop of the art and tattoo world I actually found really interesting and Eve and Josh were brilliantly thought up characters that were instantly likeable and who I thought were the perfect match up!

“But I do know that you’re smart and you’re talented and it’s a f****** tragedy if you waste a minute of that on a half-a**** effort. Whether it’s on a page or on a person. You’re not looking for someone to enable you and you knew you wouldn’t get that with me. And as crazy as it sounds, I care. So let me serve my purpose.”

Even though Eve was rich and had obviously had quite a privileged upbringing she was still so down to earth and relatable. She was funny and kind and, like everyone else, had her struggles about how to begin her career and bounce back from negative feedback. I loved her confidence and her ability to give as good as she got when it came to the banter she had between Josh and even Dallas. Josh was the perfect mixture of a gentleman and a sexy tattoo artist. He genuinely wanted to help Eve find her way in art again but also couldn’t help be attracted to her and that’s where his sexy, confident, and funny side came out.

“Nothing you could ever say to me is ever going to scare me away.” My arms locked around her. “There isn’t a thing that you or anyone could do that would change my mind. We belong together, Eve. I’m not saying it’s going to be easy, but nothing worth having ever is.”

The story itself was engaging without their having to be too much drama which was a nice change. The romance between Eve and Josh was sweet and hot and developed at a good pace. Dallas provided some very funny and laugh out loud moments and I loved him nearly as much as the main characters. Like I said there wasn’t too much drama but what we do have is a really sweet romance story which provided a lot of laughter and “awww” moments and kept me entertained enough that I read this story in two days!

Excerpt

With a low
chuckle I roll over on my bed to eyeball the stolen file that I’d slapped on my
bedside table last night before crashing. I’m feeling rather pleased with
myself until my gaze encounters Jake. My gleeful chortle dies a quick death.
He’s
leaning against my bedroom wall, bare-chested, arms folded, and wearing nothing
but a pair of black boxer-briefs and a furious glare.
My gaze
drops to the bed where Jake has laid out the black beanie used to cover my pale
hair, and the black leather gloves that kept my fingerprints from any surface I
came in contact with.
Fuck. The sun is streaming in through the blinds and
I know it must be late morning already. Clearly I’d forgotten to set the
morning alarm. A rookie mistake. And now I need to get past the gauntlet that
is Jake and somehow get the file to Casey before he enacts his own plan to
retrieve it.
My eyes
flick up, meeting his. “Morning,” I say coolly.
His jaw
ticks. “Care to explain?”
Jake’s car
keys rest on top of the report file and I know he’s seen them. Not only had I
performed a break and enter last
night, I had also added car theft to
my criminal repertoire. Explaining that will
likely cause my untimely death. I pretend to consider his question for a
moment. “Not really.”
Jake pushes
off from the wall and moves toward the bed, bringing him closer. “Well you’re
going to.”
“No,” I
say, casually sliding across the mattress and away from Jake. “Not today. I
have things to—”
Putting one
knee on the bed, Jake leans across and grabs the back of my long-sleeved shirt
in his fist. He yanks and the distinct sound of a riiipppppp renders the air.
“My shirt,”
I gasp as I fly through the air, landing on my back on the mattress with a hard
bounce.
“I don’t
give a rat’s fucking ass about your shirt,” he growls, straddling my body.
His hard
thighs trap me in place and his hands pin mine to the bed. Moving will likely
end with a cracked rib.
Jake leans
his face down until I can’t look anywhere but in his eyes. “You can start with
why you’re dressed like a thieving little bandit.”
“Because I
stole your car.”
“Why did
you steal my car?”
“Because I
couldn’t get a cab.”
I actually
considered calling for a taxi but then my movements would be on public record,
easily placing me at the scene. I’d had to rule it out.
“Stop
leading me in circles, Princess, and spit it the fuck out. What did you do?
I huff
deeply, letting my frustration out. Jake isn’t going to just let this go. It
leaves me with two choices. Lie or be honest. I chose door number two, because
while I sometimes keep things from Jake, he doesn’t deserve outright deceit.
I spill out
my early hours adventure, rethinking my choice of honesty as he sits back on
the bed, his fury a slow-building thunderstorm.
There’s
silence for a tense moment when I finish speaking.
“You
committed a felony,” he says in a soft voice. I’m not fooled by the tone. His
anger is a barely leashed lion. “And you used my car to do it.”
My lips
press in a thin line. I hadn’t thought that particular implication through, and
now I’m angry at myself. “I’m sorry.”
His
expression narrows to one of vengeful retribution. “Oh you’ll be sorry.”
“I will?”
“When I
paddle your fucking ass.”
“Jake—”
“Shut it,”
he growls, his voice rising. “You broke into a detective’s house. You stole her
property. You—”
“Casey’s
property,” I mutter.
“Don’t
interrupt me when I’m explaining your stupidity to you.”

REVIEW

I didn’t choose the badass life, the badass life chose me.

I am assuming if you are reading this review, that you have read the rest of this amazing series.  And that like me, you have been waiting on pins and needles for Mac’s story.  Because for many books we have been like: what happened with Jake and Mac?  Why is Mac always so dang angry, and the way Give Me Grace left off we were all like what the what?!

See, Mac is a special character.  She is one of those strong heroines that you cannot help but fall in love with and want more of.  She’s hilarious and witty and smart mouthed in the most awesome of ways.  And you have to wonder through all the books what happened with her Jake.  Because its clear she loves him and he loves her, but why aren’t they together.  The questions were endless with these two, but I am happy to report that this book took me back and explained every gosh darn thing.

Having a goddamn vagina is ruining my life.

I admit, I was getting little anxious waiting on this book.  I found myself going, come on Ms. McCarthy, get the lead out, but after reading this story, I can say that I completely forgive her for the length in time it took her to write Give Me Hell.  Because the amount of timeline construction and feelings in this book had to have taken forever for her to do this well.  She blew it out of the park and I am willing to bet that this was no easy feat.  Give Me Hell literally starts in Mac’s childhood and goes through every book in the entire Give Me Series, showing us what exactly was happening with Jake and Mac in the background of all of these different stories.  It was SO FREAKING good.

And let me just tell you that Jake and Mac’s story is wayyy harder than I thought it was going to be.  Theirs is one of those epic love stories that make you cry one minute in sadness and yell at your kindle the next in anger.  Gah, it was so good and so many years pass and of course all of the characters in pasts books and future ones impacted their lives so much.  They really made Jake and Mac’s story play out.  Gah. The feels!  The connection!  The writing!  It was all amazing!  One of my favorites of 2017, no doubt!

Synopsis

It’s easy to lose yourself in someone you love.

Easier to lose yourself in someone you hate…

I didn’t think it could get any worse than having to babysit a bunch of spoiled musicians on set ― keeping them out of trouble is a cakewalk compared to seeing my ex every day.

Seaside, Oregon isn’t big enough for the both of us.

She hates me.

I loathe her.

The plan was simple ― stay the hell away and make sure she gets to set on time.

What I didn’t expect was to be faced with our past in front of an audience ― and be forced to face it again.

It’s torture.

The way she looks at me.

The way I try to look through her.

Words left unsaid.

The lingering aftermath still as powerful as ever.

I feed the chasm between us, for fear that she’ll make me feel again ― and steal the last shred of heart I have left.

We have everything but each other.

It’s not enough.

Not when you’ve lost love.

And replaced it with the only thing left ― hate.

Review

The Seaside Pictures series feels like a breath of fresh air. Steal stole my day away, and I loved every second of it. Angelica was nothing like I expected, I went into this story expecting to dislike her but in an effort to change her path she worked her way into my heart. Then there is Will, could I love him any more than I do?

Steal is a second chance romance with the these tow former lovers trapped in a pain cycle. There is a lot of hurt and anger and they must work through it all to get their HEA. While their story isn’t easy, we luckily have the entire ensemble cast to lighten the moods. This is something Rachel excels at, she uses all her characters to add balance to the story. Their bring fun and excitement to a story that would be so hard on it’s own. This is why we love Rachel books so much!

Steal was the best yet in this series and I can’t wait to see what is next.
