Jake Weston and I met under a cloud of cliches: Boy meets girl. Boy charms girl. Boy screws girl.
He was the sexiest, cockiest man I’d ever encountered, but I had no idea he was a senior pilot when we met. No idea we worked for the same airline and had secrets just like me.
After a passionate night of unforgettable sex, I thought I’d never see him again, but when I did, neither of us could walk away…
We weren’t supposed to be together, we definitely weren’t supposed to fall in love, and yet our turbulent and forbidden love affair took on a life of its own.
We knew we could potentially crash and burn, but what we had was so intoxicating and inescapable that we were both willing to risk it all…
This is us.
This is our messed up love.
This is Turbulence.

Synopsis:
Sticks and stones will break my bones, but words will never harm me.
Whoever coined that phrase is a bald-faced liar. Words are often the sharpest weapon of all, triggering some of the most powerful emotions a human can experience.
“You’re pregnant.”
“It’s a boy.”
“Your son needs a heart transplant.”
Sticks and stones will break my bones, but words will never harm me.
Lies.
Syllables and letters may not be tangible, but they can still destroy your entire life faster than a bullet from a gun.
Two words—that was all it took to extinguish the sun from my sky.
“He’s gone.”
For ten years, the darkness consumed me.
In the end, it was four deep, gravelly words that gave me hope of another sunrise.
“Hi. I’m Porter Reese.”

Coming July 27th

Synopsis:
Sticks and stones will break my bones, but words will never harm me.
Bullshit.
Words destroyed me.
“I’m sorry. She didn’t make it.”
“Daddy, he can’t breathe!”
“There’s nothing more we can do for your son.”
Sticks and stones will break my bones, but words will never harm me.
Lies.
Those syllables and letters became my executioner. I told myself that, if I didn’t acknowledge the pain and the fear, they would have no power over me. But, as the years passed, the hate and the anger left behind began to control me.
Two words—that was all it took to plunge my life into darkness.
“He’s gone.”
In the end, it was four soft, silky words that gave me hope of another sunrise.
“Hi. I’m Charlotte Mills.”

The Beard Made Me Do It by Lani Lynn Vale Release Blitz
Cover Mode: Jacob Wilson
Photographer: Furious Fotog
Those words had haunted him from the moment Jessie James had heard them muttered from the one girl, above all others, that he thought had his back.
Sixteen years later, he still feels those words like a brand on his soul.
Lucky for him he has a son to take care of, a full-time job that demands every single second of the day, and not a single moment to spare for the likes of a woman that won’t stand up for him when he needs her the most.
He’s only a friend.
The words had slipped out of Ellen’s mouth, and before she could recall them or better yet, explain, Jesse is gone from her life for good, taking her heart with him.
She tries to find her way out of the pit of despair, but not one single person, no matter how much she tries, can fill the void that he left in his wake. Time heals all wounds. Or at least that is how the saying goes. It’s a crock of crap, though.
Sixteen years pass when Jessie and Ellen see each other again without the influence of the town and bad memories surrounding them, and it’s as if not a single day has passed.
Ellen knows the instant that her eyes see her old love that she’s still just as much in love with him today as she was all those years ago.
The problem is that Jesse wants nothing to do with her. Or at least that’s what he keeps telling himself.

Review
No surprise here, I adore Lani Lynn Vale’s writing. But the Dixie Wardens Rejects series is fast becoming a favorite. Her writing style, her sense of humor, the way she pairs her couples, the obstacles in their paths—it all works very well for me. The fictional worlds she has created in Kilgore, Texas, Benton, Louisiana, and now Mooresville, Alabama have become some of my top favorite fictional places to visit. Lucky for me, Vale’s creativity knows no bounds, and she takes me on new a trip there once a month.
This is Jesse and Ellen’s story. Teenage first loves, separated by circumstance and parental interference, the love they carried for each other never dissipated. Fast forward fourteen years later and their paths cross again. Though both have attempted to move on, it never really happened for either of them. Their chemistry and attraction to each other was so combustible that when they finally did come together, they exploded off the page. They had a lot of obstacles to overcome and not a small amount of drama to deal with. But they both knew how hard it was to be apart and how much better it was to be together, and they were determined to make it work this time. If only everyone else in their world was on the same page.
I love a good second-chance romance, especially one that began as teenage first loves, and Lani Lynn Vale delivered a fantastic one in The Beard Made Me Do It. Stoking the fires of first love lost but never forgotten, Vale rekindled this couple with plenty of heat, humor and a bit of drama. This story made my heart race, my cheeks burn and kept me laughing out loud well into the night. A stellar addition to an already amazing series! Five smooches from me for The Beard Made Me Do It by Lani Lynn Vale!

So Good by Nicola Rendell Cover Reveal
On the roof of a house outside Truelove, Maine, master carpenter Max Doyle looks down through a skylight and sees the most beautiful woman he’s ever laid eyes on. She’s naked, she’s gorgeous, and everything about her is perfect, down to the ball-busting tattoo of a rose that wraps around her hip. But it isn’t just any woman making his knees buckle. It’s his best friend, Rosie Madden. And as he stands there, mesmerized and precariously close to toppling off the roof, he knows he’ll never, ever be able to look at her the same way again.
Rosie can’t help but notice that Max is suddenly acting very strange—lots of long stares, totally tongue-tied, and not at all like the slightly cocky hunk she’s proud to call her best friend. She can’t figure it out, until later that night when Max rescues her from the world’s worst date, challenges her to a game of pool, and shows her just exactly what she’s got him thinking about. Repeatedly.
But life is complicated. Rosie’s cat, Julia Caesar, wants to eat Max’s dog Cupcake for an afternoon snack. A dream job threatens to pull them apart. And another glance through the skylight changes everything, one more time. Yet try as they might, they can’t go back to being just friends, because falling in love with the one you’ve always adored?
It feels so good.

10 Dates by Emily James Review
4 Smooches!
Synopsis
Joanie Fox can’t wait to settle down and marry the man of her dreams. However, when her engagement starts to look more stalemate than soulmate, her best friend stages an intervention sure to make even the most hardened, serial daters wince: 10 Dates in 10 Days.
Statistically, if you kiss a lot of frogs there’s bound to be at least one that’s not a complete toad, isn’t there? With nothing to lose, Joanie embarks on a crazy rollercoaster of blind dates. After all, what can possibly go wrong in the search for Mr. Right?
10 Dates is a standalone, sexy, laugh out loud romantic comedy with a happy ending. It is not for the feint hearted and is best suited for readers over the age of eighteen due to sexual themes and mature content.
REVIEW
Joanie thinks her boyfriend is about to propose to her at the party she has planned but when he announced a business trip to New York instead she is finally fed up and so are her friends. One of which decides to stage an intervention: 10 dates in 10 days to find Mr.Right; nothing could go wrong….right? Well throw in intervening friends, an irritating ex, and a sexy, funny, and frustrating neighbour, nicknamed Six, and you have one hell of a entertaining 10 days.
“No Four, this is my place. I own it. I am the boss. You are officially worshiping at my alter, how does it feel?” he asks. I gulp and follow his lead. “It makes sense, great big ostentatious building, for great big-headed bastard. Did they raise the ceilings especially?”
This was a lighthearted, funny, and sexy romance read that takes me back to the down to earth, classic romance where you have loveable characters and an easy but entertaining plot line that you can just get lost in easily.
Joanie was such a likeable character. I really related with her dating woes and it made connecting with her so easy. She was so funny and her frustrations with the dates were very entertaining to read about. Despite wanting to find Mr.Right she also had a very independent and take no s**t from anyone attitude as well, which I really admired about her.
“I’m consumed by Six’s touch as he supports me by holding my ass. The pressure of his lips on mine sends lightning bolts of pleasure down my whole body. When Six breaks our kiss to nibble and taste the delicate skin of my neck, a throaty groan escapes my mouth.”
Six (we do find out his real name but I don’t want to spoil anything!) was absolutely hilarious! He was cocky, confident, sexy and funny and I loved him. I could picture him perfectly in my head smirking away and his confidence just reached out of the pages. He always seemed to bump into Joanie in the most awkward and embarrassing moments (mainly for her) and every time it made me laugh and swoon at the same time because of his quick one liners and sexy smile.
“I do what any normal, lucid, self-conscious woman would do under the circumstances. As if it is suddenly on fire, I drop the penis and run like hell to the safety of my apartment.”
Really this is just a story of trying to find your Mr.Right in a world full of Mr.Wrongs – but it was filled with so much laughter and sexiness that it was really entertaining to read about. It had a certain flare to it which I think was the great characters, the hilarious banter and the flow of the writing. It was just overall a great romance read that has me feeling all the emotions I want to feel in a romance read and then some! The ending was perfect and I highly recommend to anyone just wanting to get lost in a happy and fun read!

Lost Without You by M. O’Keefe Review
5 Smooches!
Synopsis
ALL DEBTS MUST BE PAID
Tommy
Seven years ago, I thought I could save Beth, the girl I loved from the monster who was supposed to take care of us. I thought I could keep Beth and all the other kids at St. Jude’s Home for Court Placed Juveniles safe.
I failed. Badly. Now we all have blood on our hands and owe a dangerous man a very dangerous debt. We don’t know when he’ll come calling for payment, but when he does – we pay, or we suffer.
When my turn comes, I’m ready for anything.
Except seeing Beth again.
LOVE IS NEVER FREE
Beth
No one ever tells you that the cost of having your dreams come true is literally every single other part of your life. Yes, I’m a huge pop star these days, but I’m pretty much a mess, too.
I’ve spent my life hiding behind disguises, make-up and costumes, all to protect myself from the kind of pain that comes from revealing your true self to someone.
I did that once. With Tommy. The only person I ever loved. It didn’t turn out so well.
And now, with everything else falling apart around me, I’m suddenly in the backseat of his car.
Being kidnapped.
And the past we’ve both tried to run from is catching up with us.
Contains The Debt: A Prologue and 50,000 more words in the continuation of Tommy and Beth’s story.
REVIEW
This was just so good and unexpected. I had absolutely no idea where this story was going and I admit that I was completely hooked from the The Debt (the long prologue before this book that you must, must read). I love epic love stories that start when the characters are just children. They pull at all of my heart strings, especially when the young characters have suffered a hardship. And when young people are flawed, gritty, broken. I had all the feelings from page one until the very end of this sexy, scintillating, sweet, gut churning romance.
The writing was top notch as is usual with this author and the story exceeded my expectations. It was so twisty and turny and I honestly didn’t know what was going to happen next. I am too excited for the conclusion of this epic romance.
