5 Smooches!

Synopsis

I waited ten years for the right guy, then four come along at once.

I wasn’t even looking for my Mr Right. I thought I’d found him and he was just waiting for that perfect moment to pop the question. When the time came it was far from perfect The event left me a humiliated, broken-hearted mess.

Still, a person would have to be batshit crazy to do what I’ve done, or I’m about to do.

I’m Orange County bound with all my worldly possessions crammed into five suitcases and an agreement to marry one of four complete strangers.
I just don’t know which one of the four men it’s going to be.

No need to panic.

I have a whole month to make my decision. Who would do such a thing? No sane woman that’s for sure, but then with a name like Seraphim, I was never going to normal.

Hi, you can call me Finn.

REVIEW

After being humiliated by her no ex-boyfriend, Finn is desperately searching for that person that makes her feel needed, wanted and loved and when her best friend, as a laugh, shows her an advert where 4 men are looking for one wife for them all, she doesn’t think and applies. Little did she realise not only would she be picked, but that she would meet 4 amazing guys- Tug, Toxic, Pink and Charge, who all want to love and cherish her and do dirty things to her. Things aren’t always simple and nothing runs perfect, especially as most of the guys having dangerous careers as marines and can Finn really love them all equally, or will one of the guys share more of her heart than the others?

“This might be a mistake or heaven, but one thing I’m sure of, I’m definitely going to burn.”

OMG I ADORED this book! I can’t even put into words. It literally sizzled off the pages when Finn was with any of the guys, all of their love for each other was beautiful and made me envious for what Finn had, and there was drama and heartache on top of the banter and happiness- for me it was the best book I’ve read that involved a woman with multiple partners/relationships. And despite the fact it could seem unbelievable (1 wife for all 4 guys) the way the author built up the characters and described their relationships and personalities and the way the story was written, just made the all the lead characters and the plot line come to life.

“Angel, I will give you everything you ask for. But, you have to ask.” I tap her nose lightly, and her face relaxes.”

I could wax lyrical about Finn and Tug, Roxic, Charge and Pink but that would take ages and there are a lot of them so I will just sum it up. Finn was the perfect woman for them, she was sweet, kind, innocent but could still be sassy and stand up for herself and take charge of her 4 marines. I thought she was a great female heroine because she didn’t let them walk over her despite the fact that they very easily could of. Yes she had confident issues because of her stupid ex but she still stood up herself and her guys and made sure that it wasn’t just the guys looking after her but that she was looking after them. Tug was hilarious, sexy, dirty minded but also still loving and caring. He was also impressive 😉 (guess why his name is Tug)! Toxic was sweet and sexy, the perfect mix and always looking out for Finn’s feelings. Pink was boyish and hot, came off as the younger one but in a good way with all his energy and enthusiasm. And finally Charge was, well, quite literally in Charge- he was dominant, a bit moody and hot but also his devotion to Finn was so clear and how much he wanted to look after her despite him battling with his own demons was beautiful.

“Walking the finest edge of pain and pleasure is like standing at the gates of heaven while secretly praying for hell. In my heart it feels wrong, but I want it all just the same.”

This wasn’t just a story about sex between 1 woman and her 4 men- yes the sex was increasing hot and very well written but it was so much more than this. The relationships the guys have with each other, that they each have with Finn and that Finn has with each of they guys were all so well created. They were beautiful and believable and intense and so  captivating to read about. We also have the drama, some expected like with the horrible ex’s but also some not and a very dramatic last few chapters that tore at my heart! The ending was unexpected, but not in a bad way and once I thought about it I realised it was the perfect ending for everyone. And, to be honest, it means there are more books to come featuring my favourite 5some! Just a fantastic read overall and I can’t wait for the next books in the series!

Reckless Romance by Maggie Riley Review

34091226

4 Smooches!

a4-3 a4 a4-5 a4-4

Synopsis

Josh Lawson–he’s got the body of an athlete, muscles galore, and thick, tousled bed head hair. He’s always Mr. Serious, but when he smiles it transforms his entire face. I’d quietly lose my cool if that smirk were ever directed at me.

But playboys like him don’t go for theatre nerds like me. Especially when the playboy in question is a strong silent type who is my opposite in every way.

I definitely am NOT in love with my best friend’s brother. So why do I find myself dreaming/lusting over his broad shoulders and incredible arms? And why did we practically hook up on the dance floor at his sister’s wedding? I can’t get him out of my mind.

***

Reagan Bennett is not my type. She’s happy, artistic, and deserves the real deal. I’m moody and only good for a one night stand. But after our impromptu sleepover, I can’t get her out of my head.

She’s got legs for miles. She’s creative in all the right ways: she knows all the best spots in New York City and she’s passionate about everything she does. Plus, her chocolate chip pancakes are killer.

She’s everything good. I’m not gonna be the one to bring her down.

But the more time we spend together, the harder it is to keep my hands off her. I want her. Hell, I need her. It might be reckless, but it also might be love.

REVIEW

Reagan is definitely not in love with her best friend’s brother and yet no matter how many time she says that, she can’t stop thinking about him or his sexy, moody, silent ways and amazing body. Or the fact that they spent one amazing night together at her best friend’s wedding. Josh knows Reagan deserves more than him, she is loud, creative, fun and he is moody and silent. He knows he should leave her alone to find better, than being with her would be reckless, but maybe a reckless romance will turn into love? If they both really want it to that is.

“But whatever fantasies I had about Josh and his sexy laugh would have to remain that—fantasies. Because not only was he my friend’s brother, he wasn’t the kind of guy who went for a girl like me.”

This was a fun and flirt romance with really loveable characters. I really loved Josh and Reagan’s opposite personalities and I loved the building of their relationship, from trying to pretend that they didn’t like each other, to friends, and then to more than that. It was a great feel good, funny, happy and sexy read!

“My sister had given Reagan an impossible task—bring back the guy I had been when I had my dream job and my dream life. But that job and that life was gone. And so was that guy.”

Reagan and Josh have got to be one of my favourite couples! They were complete opposites of each other and yet, at the same time, they were perfect for each other. Reagan was so happy, lively, determined, fun and always being the positive and caring person. She was so easy to like and you just wanted her to achieve her dreams in both her love life and work life. Josh on the other hand was quite silent, moody and unable to get himself out of the funk he was feeling after injuring himself and not being able to carry on with his career. Despite this though he still remained quite endearing. His love for the people he cared about like his sister and adorable niece was so beautiful to read about and despite his sometime moodiness, you could see straight from the beginning he didn’t want to upset Reagan with his unhappy demeanour, he wanted to look out for her and help keep her the happy person she is.

“You’re luminous and inspiring and I feel happy around you. So damn happy. I would do anything to make you smile. And you’re sexy as hell,”

If your looking for a great romance read then this is it. You will fall in love with the characters and the development of their relationship alone will keep you hooked. We do have drama from horrible ex’s and snobby parents, some heart ache and moments that make you want to shout, “what are you doing you idiot!!,” but overall you will just fall in love with Reagan and Josh and their growing relationship. You will be cheering for their HEA from the get go.

“He kissed me as if he couldn’t get enough. As if he couldn’t control himself. My knees buckled as he deepened the kiss, his tongue hot and greedy in my mouth. It felt good. So fricking good. I never wanted this moment, this kiss, to end. I wanted to live inside this perfect, wonderful moment of time.”

“Checked Into Love by Rochelle Paige was such a fun read.” ~Reader Review

Who in the hell did he think he was? He might have been the hottest guy I’d ever seen in my life—one who’d messed with my head enough to make my self-imposed break from men last ridiculously long, even though my career was flourishing—but that didn’t mean he had the right to tell me what to do.
“Why the fuck wouldn’t I? I’m not your girlfriend. I’m just some woman you talked to for a few hours nine months ago. I’m surprised you even remember my name.”
“I remember a fuck of a lot more than your name, Cecily,” he rumbled.

“Cee-Cee,” I snapped. “Nobody but my family calls me Cecily.”

“If you didn’t want me to think of you that way, you shouldn’t have introduced yourself to me as Cecily.”

He made an excellent point, one I’d wondered about myself quite a few times. I never gave my full name when I met new people, not even in a professional setting. Yet, that’s exactly what I’d done with him. I’d been surprised when my name had slipped out of my mouth back then, and I still wasn’t sure why I’d done it, except that it had felt right at the moment.
Maybe it was because I’d wanted him to see me as a Cecily, a woman who was more mysterious and sophisticated than fun-loving Cee-Cee. Or it could have just been because Cecily sounded sexier than Cee-Cee. Either way, it apparently hadn’t mattered because he’d easily forgotten about my existence in the few minutes I was in the bathroom.

“Fine,” I huffed. “You can call me whatever you want, but it doesn’t change the fact that I’m nobody important to you.”
“Only because you pulled a disappearing act on me!”

His deep blue eyes flared, in what looked like barely suppressed rage mixed with a hint of hurt. But that didn’t make any sense considering what I’d seen with my own two eyes that night. “I didn’t think you’d care. You seemed happy enough with that brunette at the bar when I came out of the bathroom.”
“The brunette at the bar,” he echoed softly, the anger in his expression oddly replaced by a flash of humor as he chuckled wryly. “All that time, wasted over a simple misunderstanding. It fucking figures.”

Revelry by Kandi Steiner Cover Reveal with Excerpt

Title: Revelry
Author: Kandi Steiner
Release Date: April 20, 2017

From the bestselling author of Weightless and A Love Letter to Whiskey

Wren Ballard is trying to find herself.

She never expected to be divorced at twenty-seven, but now that the court date has passed, it’s official. The paperwork is final. Her feelings on it aren’t.

Spending the summer in a small mountain town outside Seattle is exactly what she needs. The peaceful scenery is a given, the cat with the croaky meow is a surprise, but the real kicker? A broody neighbor with nice arms, a strange reputation, and absolutely no interest in her.

Anderson Black is perfectly fine being lost.

He doesn’t care about the town’s new resident — he’s too busy fighting his own demons. But when he’s brought face to face with Wren, he can see her still-fresh wounds from a mile away. What he doesn’t see coming is his need to know who put them there — or his desperation to mend them.

Sometimes getting lost is the way to find yourself. Sometimes healing only adds a new scar. And sometimes the last place you expected to be is exactly where you find home.

I stared at the piles of bags, debating which to tackle first before slowly loading them onto each arm one by one. Once I was red-faced and struggling and decided there was, in fact, no way I’d get them all in one trip, I turned to make my way inside the cabin. But I stopped short.

There was a man at the end of my driveway.

He was just standing there, staring at me, a large, rusted toolbox in one hand and rolled up sheet of paper in the other. Everything about him was hard — the bend in his brows, the edge of his jaw, the line of scruff that framed it. And because I was me, of course I noticed what he was wearing, and it was the first time in a long time that I’d seen someone who dressed for efficiency, not for style. His jeans were worn, but not dirty, with plenty of pockets that I could tell were each used in their own way. He donned a simple, deep red thermal with sleeves pushed up to his elbows and slight stains that ran down his chest and abdomen, and a charcoal gray hat sat low over his eyes, shielding them from the sun.

He was tan, and even from the distance his eyes sparked against the warm hue of his skin. They were bright — blue, maybe? Or green? I couldn’t be sure, and I let his potent appearance mesmerize me for just a moment more before I shifted, hoisting the bags in my right hand up enough for me to attempt a half wave.

If possible, his brow lowered further, and he simply stalked off, clearing the view of my driveway in seconds.

I frowned.

Review

On the heels of two very dark and highly emotional books, the workplace romance, Tempt the Boss, is a breath of fresh air for Madison’s readers. While she definitely does darkly, emotional and gripping stories well, I think her romantic comedies are my preference from this author.

Tempt the Boss was uproariously, laugh-out-loud funny, with slap-stick style humor, terrific back-and-forth banter and some workplace antics that were so ridiculously inappropriate that you just couldn’t help but laugh. There were some emotional moments between Austin and Lauren, and she was coming off a very painful divorce following her husband’s infidelity. But it was the unmistakable, unavoidable chemistry between them that really exploded off the page. When they gave into that attraction, they sizzled.

I enjoyed this book very much. I laughed, I smiled, I swooned and I fanned myself. I love romantic comedies, and Natasha Madison’s Tempt the Boss is a great one. Five smooches from me!

He’s the boss. But she’s ready to take charge.

In this provocative and sexy* office romance, a cheeky new hire tempts a hotshot sports agent to mix business with pleasure.

Jenny: Job interviews are a bitch under the best of circumstances, but when your potential boss is the world’s biggest prick, that’s when you should simply walk away. It’s just that I need this job so badly—and I’m mesmerized by Ethan Mason’s piercing gaze. Men like him aren’t supposed to exist in real life. But under the tailored suits and GQ looks, Ethan simmers with barely restrained ambition. And no matter how hard I work to fight the attraction, I’m going to get burned.

Ethan: You don’t become a top agent without learning how to close deal. I always get what—or who—I want, by staying cool and in command. Then Jenny Jackson walks into my office with her lush curves and “screw you” attitude and blows away my intentions of keeping things professional. All I can think about is exploring the perfect body hidden beneath those conservative clothes or shutting her saucy mouth with one hot kiss. Jenny’s worth breaking the rules over—if I can convince her to break the rules for me.

When I turned back to the cart, a suit and tie slammed into me, knocking my bag to the ground. I stumbled around in a momentary daze, trying to process what had just occurred.
“Oh my God. I’m so sorry. Please excuse me.” I crouched down and quickly gathered all the papers that had spilled out of my bag and shoved them back in. Finally, I turned my head to meet a perfectly creased pair of black slacks, then lifted my gaze up to his face. The guy had to be mid-to-late twenties. He glared down at me with a pair of warm brown eyes, holding his phone to his ear. His hair was dark and combed back like the models who graced the covers of GQ or Style. His lips curled into a devilish smile as my face flushed with heat at the sight of such a handsome man. It was like seeing a lion on the Discovery Channel, only live and in the flesh. Predatory men like him weren’t supposed to actually exist in day-to-day life.
His brows pinched together and he scoffed, “You’re excused.”
I was at fault. I knew this. Standing in the middle of a busy sidewalk and staring out into the park was just asking for trouble. But something about his cocky attitude and the way he spoke to me crept under my skin in the worst possible way. Pulling myself to my feet, I propped my hands on my hips, and glared at the back of his jacket as he started to walk away. “Excuse me?”
He froze in his tracks as I eyed him from head to toe. His suit hugged him perfectly, as if it were specifically tailored to every dimension of what I imagined was the body of a Greek god. But being attractive wasn’t an excuse for being a dick, no matter how fast my heart sped up when he turned around, and his gorgeous eyes found mine again.
“Hang on a moment,” he said to whoever was on the other end of the phone.
He took a few steps that seemed to last an eternity as he neared me. “Sorry. I thought I’d said you were excused already.” He paused for a quick moment, then his eyes widened. “Oh my. You’re deaf.”
He held out his hands and flawlessly signed, You’re excused. I knew because I’d minored in ASL in college.
Before thinking, I signed back, You’re a fucking prick, coupled with a smile that matched my sentiment.
He stared at me like I was an alien for another brief moment, before raking his gaze up and down my body. I clenched my fists at the shiver it sent crawling up my spine, and the heat it sent between my thighs.
“Well, aren’t you a clever one? Never would’ve guessed you had an attitude, judging by that outfit.” He smirked.
I folded my arms across my chest and stared lasers into his eyes. The same eyes that sent nerves skittering through my body. “Well, aren’t you—”
His hand shot out and his index finger was against my lips. “Shh.” He slid his finger down my mouth slowly before pulling it away and pointing to his phone. “Important phone call.”
He stared out at the park as my chest rose and fell in huge waves. My face heated to an alarming degree.
“Yeah, well don’t let them fuck up my sandwich this time. I want the condiments on the side. They get the bread all soggy.” He cupped his hand over the phone and whispered, “So sorry. This will only be a second. Then we can get back to”—he waggled his index finger back and forth between the two of us—“this little thing we have going on here.”
I should bite his damn finger off. Or lick it. What the hell, Jenny?
“Yeah, see that it’s right before you bring it back to the office. Bye.” He tapped the screen on his phone and shoved it into his jacket pocket, then grinned at me. “Are we finished here?”
“I bet you hear that a lot from the ladies.” I tapped my foot on the ground. He picked the wrong woman to be an asshole to. I didn’t care how expensive his Armani whatever suit cost, being a jerk wasn’t acceptable. Who did he think he was?
“It’s usually more like, ‘I want you to finish here.’ ” He pointed at my chest and smiled a toothy grin.
I remained unmoved by his misogynistic sarcasm. His smile widened.
“No?” He drew out the syllable. “Here?” He canted his head sideways and pointed at my mouth, then chuckled. “What’s wrong? You can dish it out but can’t take it?”
I sighed and gave him an obviously fake laugh. “Oh, I can take it. I just prefer an entree. Not an appetizer.” I shot a glance to his crotch.
He leaned down next to me, his breath warm in my ear. “I can assure you, there’s plenty to eat down there.” He rose back up and examined me once more, as people made their way around us. “And it looks like you’ve been starving yourself for a while. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have important things to do.”

That’s right. I’m a guy.”

Thank you for having me on your blog and letting me tell your readers a little about myself. My name is Sloane Howell. Wait, that’s not true. I have a normal guy’s name but that’s irrelevant. Fact is, I’m a normal married guy with a kid and two dogs and an asshole cat.
People ask me all the time how I started writing romance. I think people are curious about an average every day guy writing the genre. Obviously, it was so I could get thousands of followers on social media and make millions of dollars. Why else would a dude write romance? It certainly wasn’t to get in touch with my feelings or some other pussy reason like that. It wasn’t to make my writing well-rounded. Only a good writer would have a goal like that. Money and fame is the way to go, always. Facebook likes is how you should always measure your success.
Hah! Sorry, I joke a lot. I’ll punish myself accordingly.
There were a lot of reasons and I never expected it to be half as successful as I’ve been. I figured I could bring something different to the table writing from a man’s POV. When I wrote the first story of my Panty Whisperer series I didn’t know if my wife would divorce me when she read it or drag me to the bedroom. I’m still married so you can do the math. Apparently, it worked for readers too because I’m still around and my fans seem to enjoy my writing style.
It’s funny, because when I started researching the genre in the beginning, well, I won’t lie, I kind of expected stories that were written directly for women with these ridiculous expectations of how a man would act from a female’s point of view. A big feels fest with some unrealistic cheesiness.
I was pleasantly surprised, because the stories I dove into were anything but that. They were dirty, raunchy, hilarious, and I was hooked. I had to write something and there’s something about the disconnect when you’re just sitting in front of a keyboard that just lets you not hold back.
The naughtier the story, the more people liked it. Hair pulling (which I maintain is the answer to world peace), ass slapping, you name it, the more the merrier. Make the hero throw the heroine over his shoulder like a caveman and I’d get twenty messages immediately asking for more. There’s nothing an author loves more than having people chasing you down for more stories.
So, like any sane person, I kept writing them and kept trying to get better. The fact is that erotic romance can affect a reader the way other genres just can’t. It’s like my buddy from my sci fi days E.J. Robinson said (I’m paraphrasing), ‘You can read a murder mystery and you won’t go out and try to solve crimes. But when you read an erotic romance you can damn sure grab your significant other annnd go get busy in the sheets.’
Love and hate are the two strongest emotions in the world, so I try to slam a reader with both whenever I get the chance. Because I wouldn’t be doing my job if I wasn’t trying to push those buttons. I hope you’ll check out BOSSED (3/28/17) and SCORED (8/22/17) – and let me know if I achieved my goal.

5 Smooches!

Synopsis

Ethan: You don’t become a top agent without learning how to close a deal.

*By sexy, we mean sexy. Like, 18+ sexy.

Review

This was my first time reading Sloane Howell’s work, and he can call me a fan now. Going into Bossed, I was prepared for an office romance, but beyond that, I really had no other expectations, except for the hope that there’d be a healthy dose of Mr. Howell’s notorious sense of humor. Once I started this story, though, I quickly realized it was going to be more than just a simple workplace romance. Part romcom, part sports romance, part office romance, I was quite surprised by the depth of emotion in this book. Howell’s writing was very engaging. His style was energetic and crisp, giving him a unique voice that resulted in Bossed being a well-developed, smartly paced and feeling-packed romance.

The back-and-forth banter between Ethan and Jenny was spot-on and what I loved most about this book. A top sports agent, Ethan was self-made, cocky and arrogant and ran his business tyrannically, expecting nothing less than perfection from his employees and didn’t hesitate to verbally eviscerate them for the smallest of mistakes. No one ever dared to challenge him, until Jenny crashed into his life. From their first encounter, she gave it right back to him, but the thing was that she was whip-smart, especially when it came to their shared passion: baseball. Both had serious trust issues to overcome before this budding relationship could get any real traction. Ethan’s walls were high and practically impenetrable, and with everything that was going on in Jenny’s life, she struggled to let him in as well.

Bossed had all the makings for a great contemporary romance. Laugh-out-loud humor and off-the-chart sexiness. A story with just enough angst to keep it interesting without weighing it down. Great supporting characters who rounded out this story into something special. But it was Howell’s obvious talent as a writer that really shined in the way he took those ingredients and blended them into an outstanding story that left me with a smile on my face and a happy heart. There was just so much here to enjoy, and I absolutely devoured this book! Sloane Howell’s Bossed gets five smooches from me!

A fun, sexy new stand-alone from New York Times bestselling author Aleatha Romig.

He’s sexy and confident, the kind of man every woman notices. You know, the one with the to-die-for body and panty-melting smirk. And then there’s the way his designer suits drape over his broad shoulders and big…well, we’ve all heard the rumors, the ones that say he’s up for any challenge.

But I can’t see him that way. He’s my boss—technically one of the owners of the company where I work—and definitely not in my league. Men like him don’t notice women like me, and they don’t date them.

And I don’t date men like him.

Until that one time that I catch him in a compromising position when I’m also in need of a last-minute date for a wedding…and then it’s not real. It’s blackmail.

For one weekend, he’s my plus-one.

Beautiful and unobtainable.

From the moment she walked into my office with those stunning blue eyes and crazy sensual curves, she’s been on my mind. Three years and never once has she acted interested in me. Usually I flash a million-dollar smile and women fall to their knees, some literally.

Not her.

Then on the occasion that I agree to let another woman do that—fall to her knees—guess who happens to catch us?

It may not be the most conventional way to get on her radar, but I didn’t get this far in business without knowing when to seize an opportunity. If this sexy little firecracker with perfectly kissable lips thinks she can blackmail me into attending her cousin’s wedding, I’m going to jump at the chance to be her plus-one.

You love her darker side. Now it’s time to meet Leatha, the lighter side of Aleatha, as she trades her renowned twists and turns for laughs and love with this sexy new stand-alone romance, PLUS ONE.
