She slid out of the booth with murmurings of “good night” and “have fun,” taking her stiletto-heeled-sandal-shod feet with the will of steel her mother had begun the process of instilling in her and her training as a Domme had completed.
She could not have her legs give out on her and she could not expose her nervous anticipation.
And she wouldn’t.
But, God, she had not felt like this in years. That sub she’d spied or she’d had who was so promising or such a transcendent experience to play with that she could barely control her own reactions to exploring that promise or again feeling the wholeness, togetherness, oneness with another.
She moved in his direction, no game playing. She didn’t even glance at Stellan in his booth.
Amélie didn’t participate in those games, not ever. There was no reason for her to be coy with a sub.

About Kristen Ashley:
Kristen Ashley was born in Gary, Indiana, USA and nearly killed her mother and herself making it into the world, seeing as she had the umbilical cord wrapped around her neck (already attempting to accessorise and she hadn’t taken her first breath!). Her mother said they took Kristen away, put her Mom back in her room, her mother looked out the window, and Gary was on fire (Dr. King had been assassinated four days before). Kristen’s Mom remembered thinking it was the end of the world. Quite the dramatic beginning.
Nothing’s changed.
Kristen grew up in Brownsburg, Indiana and has lived in Denver, Colorado and the West Country of England. Thus, she’s blessed to have friends and family around the globe. Well, I certainly didn’t know what to expect from this new series from the absolute queen of romance Kristen Ashley. I admit. I’ve read all of her books. I love them. I devoured them. But when I heart about The Honey Series, I was like what the what? How is this gonna work? KA writes alpha, the very best alphas out there. How can she write a submissive man? I plenty of reservations gong in, but I couldn’t give up the opportunity to read a Kristen Ashley book, no matter how bad I thought it might be. And I am so glad that I didn’t, because I loved this book. Hard. Thank you KA for making a fool out of me. I don’t mind a bit because this book was everything and more.
I have a feeling this author coined the term alpha-sub because I have never it before. That didn’t stop me from loving it, though. This book had all of the feels that this author normally gives me and so so much more because god, was it sexy. Like unbelievably hot! Like the kinda hot that makes you wake your husband up in the middle of night. There was quite a bit of sexy time in The Deep End, but I felt it was all pertinent to the telling of the story. And while I loved the heroine, Amelie, nothing compared to Oliver. I love his protectiveness. How torn he was about how he felt about things. How freaking steamy every scene was with him.
Another 5 star book from KA! A fantastic start to another series that I’ll be picking up right away. So excited to see what she has in store for us in future books.

Review
I love Carrie Aarons; her stories are unique reads that always prove worthwhile. All The Frogs In Manhattan is a new romantic comedy from a favorite author. Silly, sexy, and all around fun this was a great fast and easy read.
Gemma has been through it all in the search for the one, but what she never expected was a witty millionaire who was a complete commitment-phobe to be the answer. Oliver doesn’t make it easy and I for one was constantly on edge waiting for his lightbulb moment. Gemma and Oliver had amazing chemistry and it was so clear that they needed to be together and I loved watching them slowly come to the same conclusions.
If you are looking for a “safe” book than this might not be your exact cup of tea, but if you want a book where the couple has to work at getting their HEA with tons of laugh out loud moments in the meantime than this is right up your alley.

Another amazing paranormal romance from Rebecca Brooke. She truly shines in this genre; letting her imagination take charge and the rules fly out the window.
Gunnar and Jocelyn have a lot to focus on as war brews and the lives of everyone they love is in danger but one thing is sure and that is that they are meant for each other. As their emotional connection grows their desire for one another only strengthens. But getting to know your mate and helping to fulfill the prophecy is hard enough but how can they move forward when there is danger at every turn.
Rebecca Brooke creates worlds I want to know more about and characters I wish I really knew. I loved the complexity of the plot as well as the emotional connection between Gunnar and Jocelyn. I can’t wait for more!
