Laura Kaye Hard Ink Special Annoucement and Giveaway

PrintFrom the author of the New York Times and USA Today Bestselling Hard Ink Series, comes a special announcement sure to excite readers everywhere! Don’t miss what Laura Kaye has to say…

A Hard Ink Special Announcement from Laura Kaye!

As I celebrate the release last week of Hard to Let Go, the finale in my Hard Ink romantic suspense series, I’m super excited to share some more news about Hard Ink! I’m going to do another book in this series. And not just any book. I’m going to write a wedding novella for one of the couples in the series!! And I’m so flippin’ excited!!!

This is how this idea came about: I happened to see another author celebrating the release of a follow-up wedding book, and I’ve never written any follow-up stories about any of my characters—once they’ve gotten their happily ever afters in their original story, I just moved right on to the next couple. But that author’s book got me thinking about who I would even do a follow-up story on. Who is it that would get married? My initial thoughts went right to the Hard Ink series, of course, because I’ve been immersed in this world for the past two years and absolutely adore these characters. Seriously – I know many of us have joked about the title of the last book being apropos, and trust me when I say I’m feeling that, too. I want more Hard Ink myself.

And then I had to ask – which couple? My gut instinct was to say Nick and Becca. They started the series, have been together the longest, and the personal issues they each have and struggles they each face are less than some of the other characters. BUT…

But then my brain started to think about all the other couples. And as I thought through all of them, I could make a case why any of the Hard Ink couples might be the first to get married.

And that’s where YOU come in.

I can’t decide which couple to write.

I could make the argument for Nick and Becca for all the reasons above. I could make the argument that Shane would be eager to take care of Sara in every way he can. I could make the argument that Easy and Jenna’s bond would be so tight because of the hell Easy’s come through and him having saved Jenna’s life. Marz has never wanted anything more than a family, so I could see him being eager to make Emilie his forever. Jeremy and Charlie had the bond of best friends before becoming lovers, and I could see the two of them wanting to prove the depth of their love by committing to forever. And Kat so knocked Beckett on his ass that I could see him wanting to hold her tight and, well, never let go – and finally have a family that valued him.

So, yeah, I can’t decide!

Which means you guys get to.

For real.

I’m letting you pick.

Review

I love ALL of A. Meredith Walter’s books.  When the opportunity came for me to read this one I was a little apprehensive.  I am a romance girl and I wasn’t sure if I was going to like the plot of this book.  I should have known I would love it, after all, I think A. Meredith Walters could write a book about the phone book and I would like it.  And this one had me hooked from the very first page.

No one will miss the little girl lost…

I am not going to include the plot of this story in my review.  There are two reasons: One, because I absolutely cannot ruin it for you.  Read it organically, just as I did.  I cannot recommend that enough.  It was shocking and overwhelming and sometimes just downright horrific and I got to experience that without anybody telling me why.  And that was the best.  Two, because I really do not know what the hell is going on.  This book is most definitely a mind fuck.  It hops back and forth between the present and past (6 months ago).  I often found myself wondering what was real and what was an illusion dreamed up by a mentally ill girl.  I found myself constantly wondering who was good and who was bad.  Some of my favorite non-romantic books have this aspect and I loved it in this one as well.

Sometimes I wondered whether he wanted to posses  me.

Perhaps he wanted to own my soul.

My questions went on and on.  What is the beeping?  Who ends up being her love interest?  Why is her mother so awful?  I could not stop reading.  I read this short serial all in one sitting.  It was, in one word, AMAZING.  I am sold and I need another fix now!  I sure hope the next installment comes soon because you get left with a huge CLIFFY at the end of this one!  The author has set this mystery up quite well and even has a blog page that you can check out for clues and updates regarding this serial.

I found myself there late last night trying to figure out what the heck is going on.  This is a must read, folks!

About CHASING RIVER:

Armed with two years’ worth of savings and the need to experience life outside the bubble of her Oregon small town, twenty-five-year old Amber Welles is prepared for anything. Except dying in Dublin. Had it not been for the bravery of a stranger, she might have. But he takes off before she has the chance to offer her gratitude.

Twenty-four-year-old River Delaney is rattled. No one was supposed to get hurt. But then that American tourist showed up. He couldn’t let her die, but he also couldn’t risk being identified at the scene—so, he ran. Back to his everyday life of running his family’s pub. Only, everyday life is getting more and more complicated, thanks to his brother, Aengus, and his criminal associations. When the American girl tracks River down, he quickly realizes how much he likes her, how wrong she is for him. And how dangerous it is to have her around. Chasing her off would be the smart move.

Maybe it’s because he saved her life, or maybe it’s because he’s completely different from everything she’s left behind, but Amber finds herself chasing after River Delaney. Amber isn’t the kind of girl to chase after anyone.

And River isn’t the kind of guy she’d want to catch.

 Excerpt

He comes out of nowhere, from the left.

My only warning is the sound of his feet pounding against the grass. I turn my head just as he plows into my side, sending me sailing through the air. Pain explodes in a dozen different body parts as I hit the hard ground, my lungs grappling for oxygen.

He’s on top of me in an instant, crushing me under his weight, his thick arms roping around either side of my head, smothering me. I can’t breathe, or scream, let alone fight him off right now.

I manage just one fleeting thought—that this man, with his forehead pressed against mine and his ragged breaths assaulting my face—is about to rape me in broad daylight in a city park.

And then I’m plunged into a strange void that devours all my pain and fear.

A wave of pressure races past a split second before all of my senses are swallowed by a deafening bang that rattles my brain and the ground beneath me. Then . . . nothing at all. Only eerie silence and air.

I know that time has passed, but I can’t say whether it’s been a split second or ten minutes or an hour when I realize I’m lying on my back, staring up at a plume of white smoke, the familiar sweet metallic scent of expended gunpowder permeating my nostrils, my head stuffed with cotton. That eerie silence has given way to a high- pitched ringing and I cringe as it echoes in my eardrum. Maybe I cry out, too. If I do, I can’t hear it. I’m struggling to string together enough thoughts to understand what the hell just happened.

“Are you okay?” The question floats in from somewhere distant. And then suddenly a man hovers over me, a fringe of coppery hair like an untidy halo framing his face, staring down at me through mossy green eyes.

“What happened?” I manage to ask, though my voice sounds far away. At least I’m no longer winded.

“An explosion. A bomb.”

A bomb? A chill runs through my limbs as my brain wraps around that word, delivered in a light Irish brogue.

I sense hands slide along my thighs, over my knees, curling to the undersides, but I don’t think to deflect them. “You’ll be fine,” he mutters, a sigh of relief sailing from his lips. He shifts on his knees, making to stand.

And I seize his forearm, surprising myself with a sudden wave of strength as I hold him down. “Stay.”

His muscles tense beneath my fingertips. “I can’t. But please know that I didn’t do this.” Honest, pleading eyes implore me silently for a few heartbeats, and then he’s gone, running—albeit staggered and off-balance—before I can ask more questions. I roll my head to the side and watch him disappear into a line of trees, a dark stain blooming in the material of his vibrant green T-shirt.

*Interconnected Stand Alone*

Twenty-Four hours before we were to be married–I offered to shoot her.

Ten hours before our wedding–I made a mockery of her dying wish.

Five hours before we were going to say our vows–I promised I’d never love her.

One hour before I said I do–I vowed I’d never shed a tear over her death.

But the minute we were pronounced man and wife–I knew.

I’d only use my gun to protect her.

I’d give my life for hers.

I’d cry.

And I would, most definitely, lose my heart, to a dying girl—a girl who by all accounts should have never been mine in the first place.

I always believed the mafia would be my end game–where I’d lose my heart, while it claimed my soul. I could have never imagined. It would be my redemption.

Or the beginning of something beautiful.

Synopsis

Harper Jameson, had built the necessary walls to keep her heart safe. Never again would she allow herself to become weak and vulnerable.

Confident and full of attitude.

A mask she wore that many fell for…

Except Easton Black.

He was equally confident, cocky and knew what he wanted.

Determined.

Things he wanted rarely escaped his grasp. He was immune to the façade Harper had created.

She was Intriguing.

It was Inevitable and Harper could sense that there was no way out. Easton Black would no doubt be the man who could change everything.

People aren’t always as strong as they appear to be on the outside…

Review

Easton has always thought his best friend’s sister, Harper, was hot and fiery but until recently that is all he has though. Now though, other feelings are starting to emerge, feelings that mean that he wants more than just one night with her. And Harper can’t deny any longer that Easton makes her feel things that no man has ever done. But with a protective big brother, a cheating jerk and a conniving ex-girlfriend in the way and causing drama, can these two ever get the chance to be together?

“I was one of those people that waited for the other shoe to drop. It was inevitable. It would happen; it always did.”

I really enjoyed this sweet, emotion roller coaster ride of a story. It has loveable characters, a plot filled with drama and HEA, this story has it all to create a winning romance story.

“Will you ever truly let me in? Or will I forever be on the sideline beating my head against the fucking wall? You talk about me hiding things, what about you? Why can’t you open up to me? Why can’t you let me in?”

Harper and Easton were leads that everyone can fall in love with. Harper was strong, feisty and independent but she was also vulnerable and emotional. She made me laugh, cheer, smile and cry throughout. Easton was definitely a sexy lead with a bad boy image that you can’t help but swoon over! He’s charming, protective, domineering (in the hot way) and will protect those he cares about with a fierceness you will love.

“She was an amazing woman, and I wanted her with everything inside me. I wanted to break her down and build her back up without the damage she was carrying daily.”

The plot was captivating and entertaining. There was great drama that kept you reading to find out what was going to happen next. It kept me hooked, wondering if these two would ever get the chance to become something. I loved the plot lines of Harper’s past, and Easton’s crazy one night stand! The supporting characters such as Quinn and Jett and their friends were also brilliant and I can’t wait to get the stories of those such as Kade.

“Right now, though, staring back at Easton as his blue eyes bored in to mine caused my mouth to feel dry. He made my heart race and my stomach flip. I still wasn’t sure I liked that feeling. It made me feel weak.”

Overall a fun, heartfelt and entertaining love story about two people who YOU want to get a HEA. A perfect read for a sunny, relaxing  afternoon.

I come from a family of fighters. I always thought I’d follow in their shadows, becoming unstoppable in the ring. That changed the day I saved the life of a woman I loved, but could never have.

My brother hailed me as a hero, and my reward was a wheelchair.

Paralyzed, my life became an inescapable nightmare.

Until I met her.

Ash Mabie had a heart-stopping smile and a laugh that numbed the rage and resentment brewing inside of me. She showed me that even the darkest night still had stars, and it didn’t matter one bit that you had to lie in the weeds to see them.

I was a jaded asshole who fell for a girl with a knack for running away. I couldn’t even walk but I would have spent a lifetime chasing her.

Now, I’m on the ropes during the toughest battles of my life.

Fighting the shadows of our past.

Fighting to reclaim my future.

Fighting for her.

Excerpt

I dropped to my hands and knees, following the noise. “Got it!” I shouted, stretching my arm under the bed and barely catching the alarm clock with the tips of my fingers.

I quickly turned it off, and he had apparently found the second alarm, because the room fell blessedly silent. Well, that was until I heard Flint breathe, “Fuck,” from behind me.

It was then that I remembered I was naked and kneeling with my chest to the carpeted floor and my ass sticking straight up in the air. I glanced over my shoulder to find him standing, staring down at me, his already large cock thickening between his legs—a sight that had me returning his curse.

“Don’t move,” he commanded when I started to sit up.

As Flint’s heated eyes leveled me, there was a part of me that felt as though I should have covered up. But I didn’t feel insecure at all. Under his gaze, I felt more secure and wanted than I had in my entire life, and for that alone, I pressed my ass even higher into the air.

“I lied. Get on the bed, but right back in that position.”

First, I had other plans. I sat up but didn’t push to my feet. Instead, I spun on my knees and slowly crawled over to him.

“Don’t do that,” he warned, but his eyes said otherwise.

“I have a few apologies to make.” I licked my lips.

“On the bed, Ash.”

“No,” I responded.

He arched an admonishing eyebrow, which I ignored.

“You did a lot of things to me last night—things I loved. But there was something I wanted to do.” I wrapped my hand around his hard-on, steadily gliding to the tip and back again. “I’m going to suggest you sit down.”

And for once, Flint didn’t have a retort. He backed up to the edge of the bed and dropped his crutches to the floor. I smiled in victory as I followed him forward, running my hands up his thighs until I reached the base of his cock. Then I lowered my head to kiss the tip.

“Wait,” he urged.

But I was done taking his orders. I slid his length as deep as possible into my mouth. “Fuck,” he hissed.

“Wait,” he repeated as I glided back up his shaft. He pulled me upright before bending forward to kiss my shoulder. Using my chin to tip my head, he forced my eyes to his. “I said wait.” He chastely kissed my mouth and teased his hands down my sides to rest on my hips.

Then the ground below my knees disappeared and the entire world turned upside down.

A loud laugh escaped my throat as Flint flipped me onto the bed to join him. He juggled me like a rag doll until he until he found a position that suited him—kneeling over his face.

I stopped laughing immediately when his mouth sealed over my clit.

Then I cried out as his long finger found my opening. His other hand darted between us and lifted his cock toward my mouth.

With a swirl of his tongue, he dropped his head to the bed long enough to say, “Now, apologize all you like while I have breakfast.”

I gasped as his fingers began a rhythm inside me that left me unable to focus on anything else.

“Are you sore?”

“A little.” I managed to pull myself together long enough to find his cock again. But I instantly regretted my answer when he removed his finger.

“Then you come on my mouth, but you better get busy.” He swatted my ass deliciously hard before using each cheek to pull me down to hover only a centimeter from his mouth. “Because I’m coming in yours too.” He pulled me down until I completely covered his face, licking and sucking in a deep and greedy way I should have been embarrassed by.

But embarrassment would have required thoughts, and right then, every single brain cell I possessed had abandoned me in the hunt for climax.

I came on his mouth, all right. Then, when I finally got my act together, he came in mine as well. And Flint being Flint, well, he was such an overachiever that he insisted on showing me exactly how much he accepted my sexual apologies. So, before I fell asleep on his chest, I came one last time with his hand between my legs.

I decided I could live with two alarm clocks if that was the wake-up call they provided.

Review

Before I get into the meat of this review, I would like to say LOOK AT THAT HOT AS ALL GET OUT COVER.  This might be my most favorite of Aly’s covers so far.  It is incredibly hot and mean and it is just so FLINT!  OK, i just had to get that out of the way. 😉

If you read Fighting Silence, then I know like me, you have been on pins and needles waiting for Flint’s story in Fighting Shadows.  I loved Fighting Silence.  Till Page stole my heart.  He made me want to start using windows instead of doors,  He made me believe in fairy tales.  But Flint Page is a completely different story.  He is a direct contrast to Till and while I thought Till would always be my favorite Page boy, Flint came out victorious with his very REAL struggles.  His grit, his anger, his darkness drew me in right away.  I knew immediately that he was IT for me.

“Fuck the slack.  Give me the tension.”

When I finished Fighting Silence, I was so incredibly sad for Flint.  I knew that he had an uphill battle.  My heart ached for him even in the beginning of Fighting Shadows.  His life just seemed so desolate and lonely.  Of course this was of his own making really, but I could understand.  Life had dealt him a terrible hand.  Until it gave him Ash Mabie.

“But in that second, I was so fucking jealous of her.  Who in the world got to be that happy?”

Since this book is done in dual point of view, you will get to meet Ash too.  And she is just amazing.  She might be my most favorite fictional heroine ever.  She hasn’t had an easy life either.  But she is kind, optimistic, and pretty much finds the goodness in everyone.  Even mean ole grouchy Flint Page.

“I mean, I totally understand that you’re allergic to fun.  But you could always pop an antihistamine or something.”

Did I mention that she is hilarious?  Well, she is.  And honestly, she comes along at a time when Flint does not want her at all, but he definitely needs her.  She is just so marvelous.  I felt her stealing my smile right along with Flint’s.  It is amazing how one person could change Flint’s life so drastically but she does.

“Because when I was nineteen years old I fell in love with a girl who changed my life by showing me that even the darkest nights still had stars and it didn’t matter one bit that you had to lie in the weeds to see them.”

This story is a really really uplifting one loaded with plenty of angst and drama.  And man, but Flint is one sexy beast.  He is an excellent dirty talker and a spanker to boot.  Combine that with Ash’s innocence and her hilariously smart mouth, I was giggling my butt off.

“Were eating dinner and then I’m taking you home for dessert.”

“Are you sure?  You just had that for breakfast.”

As you can tell, I am hardcore in love with Flint and Ash.  Never have I loved both main characters so well.  But Aly Martinez has the uncanny ability to this.  She makes you love her characters.  Her writing is good but her stories are better.  They are NEVER the same.  She is not your run of the mill romance writer.  Her stories are like no others out there.  They are original and well thought out.  She immerses you in a whole slew of characters lives and makes you adore them all, hooking you for an entire series.  And now that I have finished Flint’s story, I am absolutely dying for Quarry’s.  If you know Aly’s writing, then you know that the end of this book leads up to Quarry’s book and his story and I am already seeing the potential for so many freaking feels.  I simply cannot wait!

Chapter 1 Part #3 from BLACK DAWN

Lexi wandered through the crowd. A few high fives and a couple hellos later, she was posted in another corner, eyes peeled for Shadow. Her broker dealt with the upper echelon of the hacker world. As a rogue independent contractor, he knew every important corporation and government contact interested in buying her high-tech projects: patches, programs, codes, and exploits. Over the years, he’d made himself her father figure as well as her business adviser.

Lose the douche. Those were Shadow’s only words of wisdom when she mentioned the engagement.

As if it were that simple. Shadow had been by her side since she was seventeen. Last year, for their ten-year working relationship anniversary, he took her to Paris, where they disabled the security and paid off the guards for a private tour of the Louvre. Shadow had a lot of friends in dark places.

“Silver.” His familiar voice caught her from behind.

“Hey.” She smiled then watched him nod hello as he handed her a fresh drink, switching out the one in her hand. “Good times, right?”

“Not bad. How’s life?” He always asked the same question, recently with undertones about concern over the wedding she hadn’t started to plan yet.

For how close she was to Shadow, it was peculiar that he hadn’t met Matt—that she knew about. Actually, now that she thought about it, given how confident his dislike of her fiancé was, Lexi was sure that Shadow had met Matt.

“Same as it always is.” She stared at her new cup.

Carefully, he touched her chin, turning her face, and pushed away one messy curtain of platinum hair. There was a fading bruise on her eye that she’d caked makeup over. In the dark strobe lights, it’d be hard to see, especially given the smoky smudges of black and gray she’d painted over it, but nothing ever got past Shadow. He prided himself on it. Steal from him, he’d steal back. Lie to him, he’d force the words back in your mouth. Ignore the truth—even if it was a black eye that was impossible to avoid—he’d make sure that it was most certainly not ignored.

“Care to explain?” he asked simply.

“No.” She toyed with the leather strings on her wrist.

Shadow would read into that and would be right. Nothing had changed, at least not for the better.
The lines around his eyes tightened. “You ready for Monarch?”

“Absolutely.” The website hack that exploited the social media site was her best work to date. Flawless maybe, definitely untraceable. Program had been absurdly complicated to put together, but it was a beautiful work of code.

Monarch’s social media site had a security hole. Lexi had mapped out and rewritten the code to access and/or fix that hole. It would go to auction if the company didn’t want to purchase the program. Shadow had made the offer privately, but they’d declined, as expected.

That was how those things worked. When Shadow put the code—which she generally just referred to by the site’s name, Monarch—on the auction block, it would likely sell in a hotly bid contest. Her cyber creation would give its new owner access to all of the data the social media site housed: names, ages, credit cards, family, locations, and more.

Everywhere she went, Lexi wondered how many people around her plugged their information in Monarch. It was just as popular as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, but offered a slightly more niche focus for military families. Every time she caught a glance of someone in the real world using Monarch, she wanted to tell them not to post that picture, not to notify the world of where their significant others were stationed, details on their kids, or when they left on vacations. Just stop with the oversharing.

She almost wished Monarch bought the program just to be safe. But even had she given it to them, they might not have touched it. So typical of a mega-corporation. Most of those companies didn’t buy the fixes to their website problem on the zero day market. It was cheaper to let a malicious, black-hat hacker steal consumer data than it was to fix mistakes. A public apology and a year’s worth of credit monitoring, and they were out of trouble in the public eye.

Lexi wasn’t malicious, but she did earn a living in that shadowy area between right and wrong. Exploit sales were huge business. Governments bought various hacker programs like they were equipping an army—because they were. She was a manufacturer of cyber bullets. Every country with an intelligence agency bought them to spy on everyone. Their own people. Foreigners. Governments. Allies. Enemies. Whoever.

The auctions were as legal as buying a can of mace, and Lexi happened to be really good at creating products for Shadow to sell.

He bent to her ear to fight off the loud music. “I put out some whispers. Everyone’s curious. Uncle Sam is salivating. They want Monarch in a bad way.”

SYNOPSIS
Sometimes the past bleeds into the future.
Bess, a wild party girl running from herself, literally falls victim to her demons when she collapses in the most unexpected of places.
Lane, a tightly wound, up-and-coming CEO who can’t seem to stop enabling his brother, doesn’t know what hit him when Bess falls at his feet and into his life.
It was a night she doesn’t remember, and one he can’t forget.
But rather than stay and help the needy college coed, Lane decides to teach his brother a long overdue lesson––a decision that later comes back to haunt him and only adds fury to the transgressions of his past he is already fleeing from.
Years later, Bess and Lane meet again. She doesn’t know him, and he doesn’t share that he knows what happened on that ill-fated night when she almost died. After all, he has a web of complicated lies from his own youth to protect.
Both are seeking salvation in the arms of others and ignoring the truth—that the only road to redemption lies in confronting your past.
When the past and present collide, is there any chance at redemption?
“Redemption Lane is a complex story with even more complex characters, but then, that’s what I love about Rachel Blaufeld’s work. She makes you think and feel and as you read their stories, you can’t help but fall in love with these imperfect characters as they try to overcome their struggles.” ~ Bookaholics-Not-So-Anonymous

EXCERPT

“Happy holidays, Bess,” he said as he moved closer and tucked a strand of my hair behind my ear.

When did this totally inappropriate flirting and touching start?

“Umm, Mr. Wrigley, I’m not sure I’m understanding you exactly. What are you really doing here? In Pennsylvania? Back at the WildFlower after your deal was closed? On Christmas by yourself? And who let you back here?” The pitch of my voice rose a little with each question until I was practically squeaking as I flailed a bit, waving my hand up and down the staff corridor.

But I wasn’t quite finished because then, boldly and out of left field, I asked, “Why me? Why are you back here talking to me?”

He leaned back on his heels, a tiny glint in his eye as he said, “Let’s see. I came back to Pennsylvania to see my brother for the holiday, except he had plans to go skiing up here. So, I came up with him and his lady friend. We had dinner last night, but today was their day on the slopes, which left me all alone.”

Licking his lips, he ran his hand through his dark hair and leaned close once more. “As for why I’m back here with you, I can’t really say. I only know I haven’t been able to get you out of my head since our unbelievably boring dinner in the tavern, or the coffee we shared in the back room the morning after.”

His expression softened. “There’s just something about you, Bess. You’re sweeter than the aroma of the blueberry muffin I devoured with you, prettier than the sun setting over the ocean back home, and tangier than the lemons you squeeze into your water. Something I can’t put my finger on pulls me in and makes me want to be close to you, probably the same thing that makes you want to run. Hell, it makes me want to flee so fucking fast, but I’m not. So, just don’t.”

He stopped talking and looked intently in my eyes. I stared back, studying the blue of his irises. They were so blue, but more a cornflower shade than ocean. There was something untouched and innocent about them, which was probably misguided to think on my part, considering that standing in front of me was an extremely successful, well-traveled, worldly, and probably well-fucked man.

My throat dry, I choked out, “I’m not sure what to say. Actually, I don’t think any of this is appropriate, and we should probably just part ways.” Completely unnerved, I pinned my lower lip between my teeth, and could almost taste a tinge of coppery blood as I bit down on it.

And then I got lost in his eyes, like blue skies floating above me. My mind drifted, barely registering the arms that reached out and framed me against the door. The sky came closer. It was so, so blue, not a cloud in it. And then he kissed me. Lane’s lips touched mine softly, and I braced myself against the wall. I was falling or floating, I didn’t know which.

ABOUTTHEAUTHOR
Rachel Blaufeld is a social worker/entrepreneur/blogger turned author. Fearless about sharing her opinion, Rachel captured the ear of stay-at-home and working moms on her blog, BacknGrooveMom, chronicling her adventures in parenting tweens and inventing a product, often at the same time. She has also blogged for The Huffington Post, Modern Mom, and StartupNation.
Turning her focus on her sometimes wild-and-crazy creative side, it only took Rachel two decades to do exactly what she wanted to do–write a fiction novel. Now she spends way too many hours in local coffee shops plotting her ideas. Her tales may all come with a side of angst and naughtiness, but end lusciously.
Rachel lives around the corner from her childhood home in Pennsylvania with her family and two dogs. Her obsessions include running, coffee, icing-filled doughnuts, antiheroes, and mighty fine epilogues.
