A brother’s best friend, forbidden romance, Lila Monroe’s Charming CEO was a quick, light-hearted read that was heavy on the humor and high on the heat. The hero, Flynn, was all-alpha and the best friend of the heroine’s brother. Piper was sassy, smart and sick of her overprotective brother and his buddies. She was a woman on a mission and the first task on that to-do list was putting Flynn in his place.
Monroe perfectly balanced the heat in Flynn and Piper’s romance with her wicked sense of humor and kept the plot entertaining without heavy angst or drama yielding a light-hearted, easy-reading, addictive romcom. She pulled me right into the story with vivid descriptions and interesting details. She blended those elements into the imaginative storyline, and peppered it with fun, familiar side characters for an entertaining and unputdownable reading experience. I devoured this fun, fiery and flirty forbidden romance in a day. Charming CEO by Lila Monroe gets 4.5 smooches from me!
