Melanie Harlow’s Slap Shot Surprise, a steamy small-town hockey romance, is the fifth and final installation in her Cherry Tree Harbor series. A wonderful blend of heartfelt emotion and sizzling chemistry, this romance takes off on a mile-high meet-cute. This story centers on Joe, the totally swoony professional hockey player, and Mabel, the sweet yet awkward nervous flyer, and their romance had me hooked from cover-to-cover. I loved watching their unexpected connection grow stronger, and the surprise baby twist added layers of emotion and tenderness.
Harlow’s storytelling style was perfect! An engaging and charming mix of heat, heart and humor set against a hockey backdrop, I couldn’t help but root for this irresistible couple. Five smooches from me for Slap Shot Surprise by Melanie Harlow!
