5 Smooches!

kis kis kis kis kis

Synopsis

A.P. Moore’s provocative romance throws her onto the Best Sellers list, but Alexandria’s life was far from the steamy pages of her romance.

Andrew Hughes, the most desired man in Hollywood was at the height of his career. Nothing could be better, until a chance meeting with Alexandria Moore that went horribly wrong. The man who had everything soon realized what Hollywood couldn’t give him.

Or could it?

An invitation that leads to a premier, offers a second chance, and a Hollywood romance straight out of the pages of a magazine. Yet, this story will not be filled with butterfly kisses and midnight strolls, but with tangled webs filled with lust, desire, jealousy and deceit.

It is Hollywood after all.

Review

“Have you ever experienced that moment when your body starts to tingle uncontrollably, and your heart speeds up? When you start fidgeting as you try to gain control over your breathing before your mind becomes totally blank? That moment when you see him for the first time….”

I completely loved this book. I think we have all had a crush on a movie star, I think my first was Val Kilmer as Doc Holliday in Tombstone, and as such you can empathize with Andria and her unrequited love for an unavailable Hollywood man.

If you took Alice Clayton’s Red Head Series and Fifty Shades of Grey Author E.L. James and developed a book based on E.L’s writing you would produce a wonderful baby book called “The Trouble with Dating a Movie Star.”

Alexandria, a.k.a. Andria, fortuitously meets her dream man, Andrew Hughes at a dive bar in Georgetown. The meeting is less than perfect, but the entire time you just KNOW that this is going to be a great romance with amazing chemistry and drama.

“It’s Andrew Hughes. Andrew, freaking, Hughes, I was talking to. And he wanted to see me again? There was no wrapping my head around that.”

The romance moves along in an unexpected fashion, which makes it more relatable, in my opinion. Andria is able to find herself through the help of Andrew.

“You know that side of you that not everyone sees; the more seductive, naughty side that only comes out on special occasions? That’s when it hit me; Andrew Hughes brought out that side of me.”

I SO give this book 5 smooches. It might not be as racy as some other books, but it gives you a great story, wonderful character development, and just the right amount of comedy. It has left me wanting more from the author; fortunately Book 2 “The Trouble with Marrying a Movie Star” is coming soon!!
