Travis King is the worst kind of asshole.

But considering he’s my older brother’s best friend and roommate, I see him more than I’d ever want to.
His sculpted abs and gorgeous eyes are a waste on such an egotistical man, which makes me hate him even more.
Even though I’ve had a crush on him since I was ten, the feelings weren’t mutual and he’s always made that very clear.
He’s always loved getting under my skin and one night against my better judgment, I let him in my bed.
I’ve succumbed to his manwhore ways, but that doesn’t change a thing.

Viola hates her brother, Drew’s, best friend Travis. He gets under we skin like no one can, he’s arrogant, cocky and drives her insane….oh but he is also gorgeous, amazing body and beautiful face and she’s crushed on him for years. But after seeing him hook up with woman after woman and always making snide snarky comments at her, her crushing now also comes with loathing. But is Travis finally about to meet his match in Viola when she refuses to admit defeat?
“After all, if I’m the one writing the rules, there’s no possible chance of losing.”
What a great enemies to lovers story! Really full of fire, heat, laughter and drama. I loved the relationship between Viola and Travis- it was always go go go with them! From tormenting each other, to teasing each other and behind it all, the lust they have for each other just has you sitting there waiting for it to explode!
“I remember why I’ve hated him for so long. He’s the king of all douches, a manwhore and a one-upper. And I’m still the girl with a stupid crush. “
Viola was a woman you could relate to. Knowing a guy you’ve always crushed on but is constantly being mean to you and sleeping with other women but Viola doesn’t let that stop her feistiness from coming through and giving just as good as Travis does.
“Because for some only-God-knows-why reason, my heart only beats for one man. My pulse only increases when he walks into the room. My cheeks flush and my body hums when he looks at me….…Too bad a decade later, he’s a complete asshole. Travis King.”
Travis is that typical, older brother best friend character. So cocky, annoying, arrogant but hot and fit and someone you want to hate but just can’t. He is so cocky and self assured but I loved that confidence he had! But Travis also has a side that isn’t as obvious but just as appealing.
“She’s always been the forbidden fruit, the girl I’m not supposed to want. Over the course of pissing her off and pushing her away, she’s grown to hate me more than I believed possible.“
To be honest you can see from the start that these two are perfect for each other….just they refuse to let themselves believe it! I loved the way they tortured each other, they really both gave as good as they got and they kept this story flowing and moving forward! I laughed at their banter, banter that isn’t always intentional, I shouted at them for refusing to acknowledge they both liked each other and the chemistry and heat between them is explosive. And O.M.G!!! That cliffhanger ending I did not see coming- so yes there is one but it is so worth it and I know the sequel is going to be something I will want to jump on straight away!
