Synopsis

When a mysterious text message summons May Wexler to a biker bar in downtown New Orleans, she knows something is very wrong. Her sister has sent out an SOS, but when May gets there, she’s nowhere to be found and May is the one in trouble—she’s wearing pink espadrilles, she’s got a Chihuahua in her purse, and she’s in the middle of a shootout.

After tall, muscular Ozzie comes to her rescue, May has no choice but to follow him to safety. At the headquarters of his private security firm, the Bourbon Street Boys, she finds a refuge for the night—and the offer of a job. But it’s not long before a gun-toting stalker isn’t the only complication in May’s life: the more time she spends with Ozzie, the less she can deny that they’ve got some serious chemistry. A wrong number got her into this mess…Will it also get her the right guy?

Review

“Would I have bothered to rescue you from the bar if I planned to kill you?” “How am I supposed to know? I’m not a crazy person.” “Neither am I.” “Could’ve fooled me.”

I am a big fan of Elle Casey and a Rom Com fan overall. Wrong Number, Right Guy was a fun campy alpha read full of action, silliness and a all too sexy man! Yes Please!

“So how in the hell am I going to listen to my brain telling me to stay the heck away from him when my body is constantly wanting to reach out and touch his glorious muscles?”

Thanks to a text message that she thought was from her sister, May ends up in the wrong place at the wrong time. But thanks to a biker with a messy beard she is saved from a dangerous situation but the trouble continue to follows her. To keep her safe Ozzie must bring her to his work at the Bourbon Street Boys where she meets his crazy set of friends and co-workers at the PI’s office. Putting her photography skills to good use she starts to work with the team keeping her safe. But she finds the hardest part of the job is staying away from the dark and mysterious boss, Ozzie, who seems to mostly grunt and glare at her. These two have dynamic chemistry and Ozzie was a amazing and protective alpha male.

“I never thought a guy touching himself would turn me on, but I was wrong. Wrong, wrong, wrong-wrong-wrong.”

Full of hilarious situations and characters I absolutely loved this was a great fun read. Fast paced and action pack you will be laughing all night and unable to put it down.
