Review

This book picks up from where the last book finished and you MUST read the first two books or this story will make no sense at all. I don’t want to state anything about the story because it really will just give it all away but I will say that this starts from Becca waking up in the hospital and after the MASSIVE bomb that was dropped on us in the last book, this story is about what comes after that and how the characters move on and live their lives.

I really enjoyed the other two books and this was no different. They are so over exaggerated but I love it, this book is such an attention grabber you really can’t put it down until you finish. It’s such a roller coaster of emotion, I was frustrated, then happy, then confused, then angry..honestly I think I was feeling all the emotions the characters were. It’s so up and down and so much happens it’s sometimes hard to keep up with where the characters are and what they are feeling. Especially Ray! That man was like a yo-yo with his feelings, although you couldn’t really blame him after everything he has been through with Becca.

“Dude..you’re like the Englishman who went up the hill and came down a fucking mountain…Can I get something for you Ray? A tampon? Maybe some Midol?”

My absolutely favourite parts of this story were when we heard from Grayson in any form. The letter and photo album he had created for her were so sweet and I nearly a shed a tear. They were beautiful and my heart broke for their love that was cut short…

“You are my Once Upon A Time and the happy ending I never thought existed”

The reason I give this book 4 stars and not 5 is for the same reasons I stated with the other books. First of all the repetitive use of the word “baby” drove me crazy and the constant repeating of pet names is a pet hate of mine. It was just used too many times and always so close together.

Also the way the male characters treat Becca, especially Ray sometimes went beyond Alpha Male and was instead just rude and honestly a bit aggressive. This is something I’ve struggled with throughout the series because I honestly couldn’t believe anyone would put up being treated the way Becca sometimes is in this story by the men in her life, but I do understand the part it plays within the story so I wouldn’t mark this book down too much because of it.

“I fell deeply in love with her. It wasn’t easy. I tried to walk away, but I missed her every time. She’s the air that I breathe. It was more painful to be without her.”

I did really love this final book. It brought everything together nicely and all the questions were cleared up. I loved the epilogue and that we got a chance to see a quick glimpse of Ray and Becca’s happily ever after which they truly did deserve after all the high and lows they had been through. A great ending to a great series!

“I promise to remind you every day that you love me by doing something to make you fall for me even more”
