BLURB

Available in audio first, New York Times best-selling author Laurelin Paige’s newest red-hot romance!

Weston King knows how to play. But wild nights and owning an extensive collection of women’s panties don’t carry the thrill they once did, so when his business partner Donovan suggests an outrageous plan to allow them to take over their competition, Wes takes him up on the offer. The crazy idea? Marry the competitor.

Elizabeth Dyson, the bride-to-be in question, is on board with the plan. She wants access to her trust fund and can only get it once she marries. Each has something the other wants – all they have to do is pretend to like each other well enough to tie the knot.

Only trouble is, playing fiancé to Elizabeth isn’t quite that simple. Wes finds her sexy and brilliant…and soon wishes their engagement wasn’t fake at all. Not that he’d ever tell her that.

But a lover boy like Wes can only stand an empty bed for so long…and even the best of players has to put down his cards eventually.

About LAW & BEARD

Winnie thinks she has the perfect life.

Two beautiful, healthy children. A police officer husband. A job that she loves. Oh, and let’s not forget that she’s a nationally ranked marathon runner.

Fast forward six months, and her perfect life has imploded.

Winnie finds herself in a completely new world, and this new world is a brutal bitch.

In this new life of hers, her husband is gone. He realizes, at the worst possible time, that he’s no longer in love with her. He’s in love with her best friend. So he leaves, and doesn’t look back.

Her sixteen-year-old daughter is in trouble with the law, and she’s barely making ends meet thanks to losing the job that was keeping her and her tiny family afloat.

Then, the last thing that could make it all bearable, her running, is ripped out from under her, too. Thanks to a spinal stroke that leaves her unable to walk, let alone run, she’s having to relearn how to do the simplest of tasks-such as putting on her own pants.

She’s at the lowest of lows, and the last thing she wants is a sexy, bearded, motorcycle riding alpha to tell her how to live her life.

But Steel Cross never asks her what she wants.

***

The moment Steel Cross sees Winnie’s daughter steal some shoes for her younger brother, he knows he’s in trouble.

He’s a sucker for misunderstood teens. After all, he was once one himself.

He knows he can’t just walk away, and the moment he sees that troubled teen’s mother, he doesn’t just know it, he feels it. Down to the very bottom of his soul.

With his share of hard knocks, he knows that he shouldn’t step in and make his move on a fellow police officer’s ex. There’s a code, after all, yet he just can’t seem to help himself.

He’s done being the good guy. Sometimes he just wants to be bad.

And Winnie makes him realize that being bad is still kind of good. As long as you’re with the right person.

Excerpt

I’d never, not once, had the pleasure of giving a blow job.

Yet, I wanted to give one…to Steel.

Jesus Christ, did I want to give him one.

The man turned me on in ways that I had no clue I could be turned on by, yet here I was, wondering what it would feel like to give the man a blow job.

My curiosity got the better of me as I googled more tips-which they’d said they’d done as a comparison-and then I got lost in the World Wide Web.

My first stop had been Cosmopolitan!

My second had been some random Joe-Blow (literally, that was the name of the website) blog that gave the men’s top ten best blow job tips-according to men.

1. Maintain eye contact.

2. Tie your hair back, it shows your dedication.

3. Allow him to put his hand in your hair and control the movements.

That, I could do! In fact, the idea of Steel putting his hands in my hair and controlling all of the movement was downright arousing.

4. Use your hand as well as your mouth. Twist it side to side lightly as you pump and suck him.

Okay, pump, suck, and twist. Check!

5. Don’t use your teeth. Ever.

I shivered at the thought. That would suck, accidentally biting Steel’s dick. He’d probably never let me near him again and kick me straight the hell out of his bed. Though, I had to get in his bed first…

6. Drop down so he’s standing and you’re kneeling. There’s nothing more arousing than watching a woman get on her knees.

That thought made me shiver. Would Steel like me on my knees?

I sure the hell hoped so. I’d love to get on my knees for him.

Then again, I was doing good with my rehab…he still might have to help me back up.

I winced. Maybe I should just get on the bed between his splayed thighs…yes, that was how I’d do it.

7. Suck his balls.

Suck his balls? How the hell did I put those in my mouth? There wasn’t enough room!

8. Go slow. It’s not a race.

9. Swallow.

Well, that was self-explanatory. But I didn’t know if I could swallow. I’d try, but what if I gagged?

10. We like it when you gag.

Did they? What if I accidentally threw up? That would completely ruin the mood.

“What are you doing?”

I squeaked and jumped as Steel came out of the bathroom.

REVIEW:

Lani Lynn Vale’s writing, characters and fictional worlds are definitely a comfort for me. I easily get lost in her stories, and I can envision the places and people so readily. But of all of Vale’s many series, the Dixie Warden Rejects series has become one of my favorites of hers. I’ve been anxiously awaiting Big Papa’s story since she introduced this character, and his story was totally worth the wait. She brought the feels, the fire and the funny in Law & Beard, and it’s not only my favorite story of the series, but it’s landed on my short list for one of this year’s top favorite reads.

Big Papa was absolutely everything I love about a silver fox. He was confident and commanding without being domineering. A strong, steady and patient presence in Winnie and her kids’ lives, he was also caring, loyal and so very sexy. I loved the way he was with Winnie’s kids, especially her daughter, Conleigh. It was impossible not for me to root for Winnie right from the start. Strong in her own right, this resilient single mother was the perfect heroine for this man. There was plenty of suspenseful drama, and Vale effortlessly blends that with her trademark brand of humor, some alpha man romance and a fair amount of heat into Steel and Winnie’s beautiful love story.

Law & Beard was the perfect cap off to what was a riveting, exciting and sexy series about every day heroes and the women who love them. As much as I’ve loved this story, and all the stories that preceded it, I’m just as distraught that this marks the finale for this fantastic series. Five smooches from me for Law & Beard by Lani Lynn Vale!

Bro Code by Kendall Ryan Cover Reveal

There’s pretty much only one rule when you’re a guy.

Don’t be a douche.

Turns out, the fastest way to break that rule is to fall for your best friend’s sister.

Ava’s brilliant, sharp-tongued, gorgeous, and ten years younger than me.

She’s the sexual equivalent of running with scissors. In a word, she’s dangerous. And completely off-limits.
Falling for her could ruin everything.

Yet I can’t seem to stop, even when her company is threatened by a lawsuit, and my promotion hinges on representing the opposing client-and winning.

I can’t see a way out of this mess that doesn’t end in a broken friendship, a broken heart, or a ruined career.

I may have broken the bro code when I fell for Ava. But do I have the balls to handle what comes next?

I need a man willing to love me for who I am, despite what size I am. Only finding such a guy is harder than it’s cracked up to be. Afterall, I’m a little clumsy and just a tad outspoken… that is unless I’m in front of a man so good-looking my panties melt. Then I become an absolute weirdo.

Case in point: Vice Salvatore. Stunning. Growly. And also my boss.

Thank God his a**hole attitude put my racing heart at ease and changed my lust to hate.

Nope. I don’t care for him. Won’t. I’ll continue to ignore my ladybits and stay strong.

REVIEW:

I loved Lila Rose’s first romantic comedy, Making Changes, so I was excited to get my hands on Making Sense. I was truly impressed with her ability to shift gears from the MC romances that she’s known for into a totally different trope. She did an amazing job, and she’s a natural. This series, while standalone novels, center on a group of friends, and although it is not necessary to read Making Changes before Making Sense, you really don’t want to miss that story—it was fantastic.

Like Making Changes, Making Sense features a curvy heroine. A single mom in her late thirties, Addy is divorced from her cheating ex-husband and is trying to jumpstart her jewelry business while also working a side job as a clerk in an adult store. Vice Salvatore is the owner of the store where she works, and their first meeting, at least for Addy, did not go well. For Vice, however, it was an altogether different experience.

Vice fell hard and fast for Addy, and he made moves to put her in his orbit after that meeting. Addy was hilarious with her nervous flustering in the presence of this sexy man. While she is happy with where she is in her life, and she’s comfortable in her own skin, she has a bit of trouble, at least at first, grasping the concept that Vice could be interested in her. He does a great job convincing her of his interest, and these two made a solid, loving couple that it was easy to root for once she got over that hump. One of the things I loved most about this couple was lack of external drama and the maturity with which they handled the problems that did arise. I really liked how they dealt with everything together instead of turning on each other.

Lila Rose has done it again with another fabulous romantic comedy.  I smiled from ear-to-ear, I swooned, I blushed, and I loved every single word of Making Sense! I love this group of friends, I love these romances, and I love the humor she builds into these stories. Whether you’re new to this author or a fan of her MC romances, her romantic comedies are absolutely not to be missed.  Making Sense by Lila Rose gets 4.5 smooches from me!

There are three things you need to know about Kat Tanner (aka Kathleen Tyson. . . and yes, she is *that* Kathleen Tyson): 1) She’s determined to make good decisions, 2) She must get married ASAP, and 3) She knows how to knit.

Being a billionaire heiress isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. In fact, it sucks. Determined to live a quiet life, Kat Tanner changed her identity years ago and eschewed her family’s legacy. Review

Penny Reid is just a master storyteller. SHe writes books I didn’t know I needed. I finished Marriage Of Inconvenience in just a day, which I think I deserve a medal for since it was long even by Penny Reid standards. By the end, I was in awe of her ability to not only come up with unique characters and storylines but to make me feel like they’ve always been a part of my life.

Marriage Of Inconvenience is a slow burn story despite the two getting married early on. Kat and Dan have some amazing chemistry. Speaking of Dan, I loved that foul-mouthed man so freaking much. He was protective, sweet, while still being all manly and alpha. He was the bee’s knees.

This was such a fun read and it reminded me why I love this quirky series so so so much!

Review

Aurora Rose Reynolds’ Until series is an addiction for me. I can always count on her to bring the heart, the action, and an alpha man that makes my heart go pitter-patter.

Harmony and Harlen are all of that and so much more. Harmony has recently moved home to take a new job as a nurse in the local hospital. Now that she’s back she’s back in the sights of the intimidating biker who always seems to set her heart racing. Now that she’s home he has her sights set on making her his. But trouble always follows a Mayson girl around and Harmony is no exception.

Harlen is HOT and Harmony is sweet. But what surprised me was how kind, caring, and patient Harlen was. He comes off all gruff biker, but, for his girl, he shows his soft side. I loved that. This story was an easy read but an exciting read. Once I started I just could not stop. If you are an alpha man lover than this is one not to miss!
