REVIEW:
I’ve read several of the books from Lila Monroe’s Lucky in Love series, and I’ve enjoyed them all. Monroe pens easy-going romantic comedies that are light and breezy and filled with humor, heart and heat. Each one was different and so much fun to read, but Perfect Match is my favorite of the bunch.
From the first page, Perfect Match was an easy-to-get-lost-in story that I simply didn’t want to put down. The premise was unique and entertaining, and Monroe delivered it with tons of witty, well-timed banter that amped up the addictiveness of this fantastically executed romcom. Jack and McKenna had an instant connection and amazing chemistry that positively leapt off the page. It was impossible for me not to get as caught up in the whole will-they-or-won’t-they, push-and-pull of their relationship as they were! These two were so sweet, romantic and sexy together, but they also had an authenticity about them that kept me positively glued to my Kindle.
I devoured Perfect Match in a few hours, laughing and loving it the whole way through. Another winner from Lila Monroe! Perfect Match gets four smooches from me!

A Steel Heart by Amie Knight Blog Tour with Excerpt

A Steel Heart, an all-new sexy and emotional standalone from Amie Knight is LIVE!

A Steel Heart by Amie Knight
Publishing Date: November 9th, 2017
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Five seconds.
A deafening blast. Pain. Silence.
That was all it took for an IED to end my life as I knew it. The man I was shattered in a hard wave of sound and debris that rained down on me like death itself.
And six months later, after waking up to an inescapable hell, I found myself wishing that death had found me.
Until her.
Miranda Jacobs swept into my life like a cool breeze on a smoldering day.
With her smart mouth and her ridiculous jokes, she brought me back to life one minute at a time.
Turned out time wasn’t on our side.
Five seconds.
Screams. Twisted metal. Silence.
And I’d lost it all again—only this time, I had no one to blame but myself.
EXCERPT:
“What are you doing today?” my friend Ainsley asked through the cell phone that was pressed to my ear with my shoulder. My hands were busy holding open a piece of the blinds so I could look out the front window.
I gave her a distracted answer. “You know, the usual. Edits and whatnot.” I tilted my head to the side to get a better view out the window and almost dropped the phone. Holy hotness.
“Why do you sound like that?”
“Like what?”
“Distracted.” Ainsley sucked in a breath. “Oh my God. It’s nine a.m. Are you neighbor stalking again?”
I snapped the blinds closed and backed away from the window. “No. Of course not. Why would I do that?”
“You told me you weren’t going to do that anymore.”
I thought we’d already established I was a liar.
I stepped back toward the window because I couldn’t help myself, obviously a glutton for freaking punishment. But this was the only time of day I saw him besides when he left in his big, black truck at three in the afternoon on the dot, and I didn’t want to miss a thing. I cradled the phone with my shoulder again, pushed the blinds apart with my hands, and pressed my face to the windowpane like the creepy stalker I was. And there he was. Every gorgeous inch of him.
He walked toward my building from across the busy downtown street like a tall glass of water on a hot day. All swagger and supreme male beauty. The kind of beauty that made a girl’s breath catch and heart pitter-patter. He pushed his dark hair off his tan forehead and the big muscles in his arms bunched.
Goosebumps broke out on my skin and I may have whispered, “Christ on a cracker.” I didn’t know his name, but I knew his schedule like the back of my hand. That wasn’t weird at all.
“You’re a terrible liar.” She giggled. “What’s he wearing today?”
I barely heard Ainsley. Every morning when I watched this man walk down the street and toward our building, it was like just he and I existed. Slow motion. Our own sexy theme music. Nameless, ridiculously hot man and Miranda. He didn’t know it, but there was a world of our own and it was the absolute best part of my day.
“Sunglasses. White, tight, sleeveless T-shirt. Black running pants with three white stripes down the sides. Black tennis shoes,” I said breathlessly into the phone. I left out all the good bits. Like the scowl he was wearing. It was perpetual. I’d never seen the man smile in the month he’d been living next door to me and for some reason that made me all the hotter for him. He owned that scowl. He freaking rocked it. His jaw was square and clean-shaven. His mouth flat. He was a giant of a man. Well over six feet. His chest was wide, his arms thick and imposing. Dog tags jangled from a silver necklace around his neck, letting me know he was military of some sort. I’d never seen his eyes, but I knew they were going to be stunning. Everything about him was. Not even the slight limp in his gait as he made his way across the street took away from his godlike beauty. I could’ve eaten him with a spoon.

Author: Adriana Locke
her way out of.
As Walker Gibson looks at her, then at the damage to his precious truck (that
she may or may not have accidentally inflicted), she knows she’s in trouble.
It’s not the busted headlight and dented grill that’s sunk her though. It’s the
downright sinful man in front of her that’s the problem.
The small town mechanic is broody. Rough. Smells like engine grease and
gasoline and Sienna isn’t sure why that’s so sexy, but it is. It so is. She’s
ready to peel off her panties at the drop of his wrench.
He wants her too. She can feel it when he brushes against her. Experience it as
he presses her against the wall of the shop. It’s thinly veiled in his deep,
brown eyes when he looks at her like she’s everything he’s ever wanted. So why
won’t he give in?
The damage to Walker’s truck is the first of many mistakes between the two of
them, ending with truths that rock Sienna’s world. Nothing can fix her broken
heart except the love of a man that won’t, maybe even can’t, love her back.

xo, Zach by Kendall Ryan Cover Reveal
We are so thrilled to bring you the cover from New York Times bestseller Kendall Ryan.
xo, Zach is a steamy new forbidden romance full of heat, heart & humor releasing January 23, 2018!

The first time we met was at a party.
Your ex arrived to show off the person he’d left you for last month, and you asked me to pretend to be your date.
I was more than happy to help. You were attractive, smart and witty–and that kiss we shared? It left me wanting you for days.
The second time we met was in my office on campus where we were both surprised to discover you were the new master’s degree student in poetry that I would be working with. You promised to be professional. I did no such thing.
The late nights and intense study sessions spent alongside you majorly throw me off my game. I want you, and I fight with myself daily over this fact.
I know I’m crass, that my sexual innuendos and dirty mouth annoy you, but I live for those two bright spots of color in your cheeks. If that’s the only reaction I can get out of you, I’ll gladly take it.
You hate Mondays so every Monday I slip an anonymous poem into your bag and your smile gets me through the week.
I think I’m falling for you, and I know it’s wrong. I know that I’m only supposed to be your adviser and nothing more, but here’s the thing. I think you’re falling for me too.
xo, Zach

REVIEW:
A Steel Heart is Amie Knight’s third novel, and the follow up to her amazing debut, See Through Heart. Knight has demonstrated unequivocally her talent for telling sometimes difficult, poignant stories. But they’re so much more than just gut-wrenching reads. Knight builds sweet romance, sizzling passion and the element of surprise into her stories as she effortlessly blends it all together with her sassy, Southern sense of humor. Hers are the kinds of stories that I easily get lost in, so wrapped up in the emotion of the tale—the kind of story that leaves me clutching my Kindle to my chest when I’m finished.
Though A Steel Heart is a standalone, readers met the heroine, Miranda, in See Through Heart. Miranda’s back story is covered completely in this book, and while it’s not necessary to read See Through Heart before reading this book, I highly recommend that you do because it was just so fantastic. I loved Miranda. Sweet, loyal, and a bit innocently naïve, this donut-loving, romance book editor was also strong enough to weather the storm of emotion that Holden brought into her life in this heartbreakingly real love story. A wounded veteran, Holden lost more than his leg in the war, and he returned to the states a lost, broken and angry man.
Set in Columbia, South Carolina, Holden moves in across the hall from Miranda. At first their relationship is tumultuous and a far cry from neighborly, but the quirky, cute, redheaded Miranda eventually wins the gruff, taciturn Holden over and so begins an epic romance worthy of the books she spends her days editing. I’d like to say they had smooth sailing and everything was easy, breezy… but that simply wasn’t the case. Holden’s problems were deep and intense, and these two are tested and tried as they confronted them. The emotion that Knight conveyed in those moments were every bit the sucker punch to my feels that she intended them to be. Knight gives voice to an amazingly passionate, slow burning romance and tells it in heartbreaking detail with a truly creative twist that left me gasping in surprise.
A Steel Heart is another amazing book from the incredibly talented Amie Knight. Five smooches from me!

About the Author
CD Reiss is a New York Times bestseller. She still has to chop wood and carry water, which was buried in the fine print. Her lawyer is working it out with God but in the meantime, if you call and she doesn’t pick up she’s at the well hauling buckets.
Born in New York City, she moved to Hollywood, California to get her master’s degree in screenwriting from USC. In case you want to know, that went nowhere but it did give her a big enough ego to write novels.
She’s frequently referred to as the Shakespeare of Smut which is flattering but hasn’t ever gotten her out of chopping that cord of wood.
If you meet her in person, you should call her Christine.
