Review

Max is the newest standalone in Sawyer Bennett’s Cold Fury series and it is officially one of my favorites so far. This book had everything I had hoped for and some stuff I didn’t even know I wanted. Max is sweet, patient and kind but also a super sexy man who can put it on his girl when needed. LOVED HIM.

“So you want to sin with me, huh?”

While I loved Max, Julianne was the jewel for me. A new mom to her three nieces and nephews. She is struggling and has no time for a love life. She has made those kids her number one priority. I loved that about her. To go with that, I have to say how wonderful Max was with the kids. He understood that they came first and never tried to overtake that.

The entire book of Max made me smile. I had the happiest feeling in my heart. That’s not to say there is no drama or sexy time because there is plenty of both.  But the part of the book that left the biggest imprint on me was the true nature of the love story.

The bell chimes as the front door closes behind me. I’m to my car in record speed. I need space. I need air. I need to think. When my phone buzzes right before I pull out of the parking lot, I know it’s Pepper and she’s not going to quit until I give her something to occupy her mind.“Fine!” I nearly shout into the phone. “His cock is about ten inches, if I’m guessing, and he fucked me in about every position I could explain. Review

Swing is the second standalone in the Landry Family series by Adriana Locke and having not read the first one I can tell you that it does read as a complete standalone. I had zero problem keeping up with the characters and their relationship to the characters that are in the first book. I will say though that after reading this one I am eager to go back and read Sway now.

This was my first book by Adriana Locke. She has been on my to read list for a long time now but I had never gotten around to reading her backlist. That, I can tell you was a mistake on my part. Her writing is fun and her man is sexy and sweet.

I am love with Danielle and Lincoln. IN LOVE. She is a perfect heroine. She is strong willed and gives the playboy a run for his money. Lincoln is swoony and has all the right lines, but he is also sweet and kind and close with his family. Together they make the book perfect. It might not be high on angst but it gave me all the happy feels and made me swoon the whole way through.

I can now say I am an Adriana Locke fan and look forward to working my way through all her titles in the weeks to come. Pick this one up now. Trust me.

Review

The first thing that attracted me to this book was that cover. It is amazingly beautiful and had me eager to start. Then I read the blurb and I was hooked. Carrie Aaron is an author I can count on for a great story that will keep me guessing. Her writing is always clean and exciting, her plots unique and her characters well developed.

On Thin Ice was full of suspense with a stellar romance to boot. Nate and Camille have wonderfully chemistry It is clear when you start that this will be different from Carrie’s other books. Life some of Carrie’s other books this involves a forbidden romance between two different class level. A cold but rich girl and the man hired to take care of the once vacant house she now occupies.

Nate and Camille’s journey was full of tender moments, full on angst and some super steamy sex scenes. An easy book to get lost in. Don’t let the “frigid” cover fool you, this book will warm you up.

I love a good anthology. I find it an amazing way to discover new authors. The Alphas & Fairytales had a unique twist on the anthology that I personally found fun and refreshing. Each of the stories in this set takes has the same setting and takes place at the same time during the same event. I loved this idea and the continuity helped each story flow into the next.

There wasn’t one story in this set that didn’t grab my attention. Some were sweet contemporary, some had me laughing out loud and some were very erotic. There was something for every book lover.

While I read through all the stories and every one was a great read there were two that stuck out as favorites for me. First, Close Encounters by Alison Bliss was a hit for me. She never fails to make smile. She has a naturally witty style of writing makes her one of my favorite authors and this short story was no different. The other story that story that stood out to me was a second chance romance by Ginger Scott titled Diced. This one had me hooked from the first paragraph. Ginger Scott is an author I keep meaning to try out and after this I plan on doing that very soon.

Overall, this entire set was fun and sexy. Worth so much more than the 99pennies they are charging and with all the proceeds benefitting VetSports there isn’t a better way to spend your dollar.

girl. You only turn eighteen once!” She fluttered over to Maggie and kissed her
cheek, then flitted through the door she’d indicated.
“Happy
Birthday,” I murmured, keeping my eyes averted as I followed Bunny. It was no
use, I couldn’t keep from admiring Maggie’s spectacular ass. Tomorrow. She would be eighteen
tomorrow. Midnight. Eighteen. My body started to burn as images of our naked bodies
passionately entwined filled my mind. Those legs wrapped around me as I pumped
my hips, burying myself inside her over and over. Making her mine.
I shook my
