From New York Times bestselling author, Penelope Ward, comes a sexy new STANDALONE novel.
After getting dumped, the last thing I needed was to move next door to someone who reminded me of my ex-boyfriend, Elec.
Damien was a hotter version of my ex.
The neighbor I’d dubbed “Angry Artist” also had two massive dogs that kept me up with their barking.
He wanted nothing to do with me. Or so I thought until one night I heard laughter coming through an apparent hole in my bedroom wall.
Damien had been listening to all of my phone sessions with my therapist.
The sexy artist next door now knew all of my deepest secrets and insecurities.
We got to talking.
He set me straight with tips to get over my breakup.
He became a good friend, but Damien made it clear that he couldn’t be anything more.
Problem was, I was falling hard for him anyway. And as much as he pushed me away, I knew he felt the same…because his heartbeat didn’t lie.
I thought my heart had been broken by Elec, but it was alive and beating harder than ever for Damien.
I just hoped he wouldn’t shatter it for good.
Author’s note – Neighbor Dearest is a full-length standalone novel. Due to strong language and sexual content, this book is not intended for readers under the age of 18.

No Pants Required by Kim Kart Excerpt Reveal

No Pants Required by Kim Karr
Release Date: July 11th
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Cover Design: Hang Le

Synopsis:
I, Makayla Alexander, am on a mission to reinvent myself. So when a super hot guy boards the plane and flashes his rock hard abs, I pay attention. When he sits next to me and offers me his nuts, I can’t resist. But when I choke on them and he tells me I need to work on my gag reflex, I realize I might be in over my head.
Before I know it we’re in the lavatory and attempting to join the Mile High Club. Let me just say this…anyone who tells you it’s easy to get it on at 37,000 feet isn’t telling you the truth. After the flight attendant busts us for getting frisky in the air, the only thing that can ease my total and complete mortification is the simple fact that I am never going to see him again.
Hours later, I can’t help but wonder if fate will ever allow me to become a new version of myself.
Because Fate, she’s a fickle bitch.
Case in point…my seatmate is my new next-door neighbor.
Even with the whole fate thing we have going on, we are so not meant to be together. He’s all cool and sexy in that make love not war kind of way. Guys like him are dangerous. With that bring-you-to-your-knees body, that handsome-as-hell face, and that dirty, dirty mouth, I guarantee one glance from him wets every girl’s bikini bottoms.
And then there’s me…the quirky girl looking to find herself in California. All I want to do is learn to let loose. Say words like peace and groovy. Bury my toes in the sand. Who knows, maybe even have sex on the beach.
Unable to get him out of my head, I entertain the thought of being more than just friends. I know the idea is absurd. And yet, I go with it. You see Camden Waters gets me. Really gets me. Like no other guy has before.
On this 7-mile stretch of paradise, I decide to keep things simple and just have fun…that is until fate decides to screw with me, again.
Can two people hell-bent on finding themselves realize the search should have ended the day they met? Find out in No Pants Required—a sexy, funny, romantic stand-alone, that will have you hurrying to grab your bathing suit and rushing to the beach to check out every lifeguard on duty.

Excerpt
“I hate flying because I’m scared of heights…or, more specifically, falling. I don’t like bungee jumps, being near ledges, or even looking down from a tall building. It sets my heart racing and gives me a little vertigo. And sometimes on bridges, I need to walk on the inside of the sidewalk and look down at the ground to get across.”
Now he looks sympathetic. “My sister is afraid to fly. Her solution is to pop a Xanax as soon as she boards. It usually holds her over until landing.”
“I thought about it,” I admit.
His eyes are still hidden by the dark frames of his Wayfarers, and I really want to see them.
“Can I get you something?” the blond flight attendant asks him. The way she looks at him, I’m surprised she doesn’t say, “Coffee, tea, or me?”
He glances toward her. “Yeah, sure. I’ll have a Corona with a lime and a couple bags of peanuts.”
She reaches in her pocket and hands him two bags of Planters. “Here you go. And I’ll be right back with that beer.”
She’s off in a jiffy, eager beaver that she is.
“Miss,” he calls.
She turns.
“Some chocolate, too, if you have any.”
Her responding nod is almost seductive.
“Thanks,” he tells her and shoves one of the bags in the pouch in front of him. The sexy stranger then rips open the other bag and pours some of the peanuts in his palm. “Here, have some of my nuts.”
Nervous laughter spouts out of me and even though I’d never eat out of a stranger’s hand, I find myself considering trying his nuts.
Yes, I thought that.
The rakish tilt of his lips mesmerizes me as he continues to hold out his palm. “Come on, you know you want to try my nuts.”
Aha! He is so trying to be dirty.
Still, it makes me laugh enough that my wineglass starts shaking in my hand. “Oh, no, that’s where you’re wrong. My mother taught me never to take food from a guy I don’t know.”
Emptying all the peanuts into his palm, he crumples the empty bag and shoves that into the pouch, too.
I hate when people put their trash there, but it doesn’t seem to bother me right now because I’m a little preoccupied watching him.
As if he has a secret, his lips tip up a little more. He has the best smile. Unexpectedly, he pinches one of the peanuts and lifts it. “It’s ‘don’t take candy from strangers.’”
There’s a hush in the air. It takes me a moment to find my breath. “Right. That’s the saying.”
His hand moves closer to my lips. “First of all, this isn’t candy, it’s protein, and I doubt your mother ever told you not to eat protein.”
My breath hitches. “No, she didn’t.”
“And secondly, we’re not strangers. We’re seatmates. I don’t know who you think I am, but I wouldn’t offer my nuts to just anyone.”
Laughter roars out of me.
Somehow he manages to stop himself from completely losing it. With his smirk in place, he’s determined to get me to eat this peanut and moves his fingers even closer. “Come on, try it. You know you want to.”
As shocking as it seems, I find myself opening for him, and he drops the capsule of protein right on my tongue. For one brief second I imagine taking his hand and holding it to my mouth so I can lick the salt off his fingers. Oh, geez, what is wrong with me? Last night must have gotten me more worked up than I realized.
“Good, right?” he breathes.
Feeling flushed from head to toe, I give him a nod while chewing, then I swallow.
When I do, I start to choke. The peanut is stuck. Oh, this can’t be happening. Coughing profusely, I try to unlodge it and force it up.
Concern flashes in his eyes. “Are you okay?”
I nod and manage to say, “I’m fine. Just went down the wrong pipe.”
No longer concerned for my safety, he asks, “Trouble swallowing my nuts?”
Still choking, I have no choice but to spit the peanut into my cocktail napkin.
Real lady-like.
His eyes are on me. I can feel them.
When I look up, there’s a coyness about him.
That grin turns devilish. “I’m sorry you choked on my nuts, but you might want to work on your gag reflex.”
Dirty, dirty, boy.
“What would I do without your wit?”
He quirks a brow and sits back. “You know you prefer me sitting next to you than sitting alone.”
“You think so, do you?”
“I know so. I mean, come on, you’ve already eaten my nuts and we’re still on the ground. Who knows what will happen when we’re in the air. With me by your side, you won’t have any time to think about being nervous.”
There is a dip in my belly, and we haven’t even taken off yet.

It was in my blood to smack people around.

I was a loner, stuck to myself because I was different, until Camden Steel moved next door.
I punched him in the mouth, and he saw me through rose colored glasses from that day on.
I had everything I ever wanted.
The boy next door, inspiring career… until I didn’t.
He hates me. I deserve that.
They say you have to fight for what you want… What they don’t tell you… is it’ll cost you more than you’re willing to give to reach the top.
Excerpt
Climbing off the bed I grab her by the ankle, jerking her to the edge of the bed roughly.
She jumps awake panicked. Her wild, frantic eyes finding mine.
“Camden, what the fuck?”
“I thought I made it clear I didn’t want you to move, I wanted you to sleep on me.” My voice hard and accusing, all the feelings I felt that morning after she left when I was eighteen surfacing. She jerks her foot, but I tighten my hold. “I wasn’t joking.”
Bending down I grab her by the hips and throw her naked body over my shoulder.
“What are you doing? Have you lost your mind?”
“I have, and it’s because I fell for the little girl next door when I was a fucking kid,” I bark.
Yanking the curtains to the floor to ceiling window open I set her down, her back facing me.
“Put your hands on the window,” I instruct harshly.
She obeys surprisingly, and looks over her shoulder. “What are you doing?”
“Fucking you.”
Spreading her ass cheeks I push the head of my dick into her quickly, needing to feel her now. She takes in a sharp breath, her fingers tensing against the glass as I shove into her with so much force her head bangs against the window.
My chest rising and falling rapidly, I caress the shell of her ear with my lips.
“I know what you’re thinking.”
Her forehead pressed against the window she turns it, looking me in the eye.
“What?”
“That I’m possessive, controlling, crazy.” I thrust into her hard and her mouth parts with pleasure. “You made me this way, you made me the crazy man that wants to love you.”
Pressing my back onto hers, I interlock our fingers on the window, my face in the crook of her neck.
“Let me love you, let me be the crazy motherfucker that loves you.”
She nods, her breath fogging the glass as I continue to thrust into her.

Vodka On The Rocks by Lani Lynn Vale Release Blitz with Excerpt
Title: Vodka on the Rocks
Series: Uncertain Saint’s MC #3
Author: Lani Lynn Vale
Genre: MC Romance
Release Date: July 6, 2016

There are rules to life that one just obeys in order in her attempt stay on the right path. For example:
1. You don’t wear dirty panties out of the house. You just never know who’s going to see them.
2. A lady must always have chocolate at the ready—just in case the world as she knows it comes to an end.
3. You don’t egg on a drunk woman who’s pissed off at life.
Why, you ask? Because they start bar fights, that’s why.
Casten Red, the unofficial enforcer of The Uncertain Saints MC, wasn’t necessarily trying to urge her into doing anything illegal, and he definitely wasn’t trying to get her into a fight with a group of men who were all twice her size.
No, he only intended to give her the confidence to stand up for herself, just a little nudge in the right direction. How the hell was he supposed to know she’d go all Chuck Norris on them and put three of them in the hospital with concussions?
He should’ve followed his gut instinct and turned around that first moment he saw her in the bar, but Casten has never liked following the rules. Why the hell would he start now?
“5 who doesn’t love a beard stars! By far my absolute favorite book by Lani!” ~Alpha Book Club
“Lani’s stories are a breath of fresh air.” ~Ramblings From Beneath the Sheets

“You’re dilly dallying,” Casten growled.
I turned around, bag in one hand, and papers in the other, and glared.
“What makes you think that I don’t have a fuckin’ reason for doing what I do?” I growled.
He held up his hands.
“Down tiger,” he said soothingly, although his eyes flashed, telling a different story.
I shoved the rest of my things in my bag, bending them to hell and back, but I couldn’t seem to find the urge to care at that moment in time.
I walked past him, knocking his shoulder, and headed to the back hallway to turn off the last of the lights.
I hit the first two in the in the locker room before heading to the last one in the entire gym area at the bathroom entrance.
But before I could hit the lights, my hand was stilled by Casten’s.
“What’s your problem?” he asked.
I tried to rip my hand free from his grip, but he held on without even the least bit of effort.
“I’m pissed,” I growled.
“Why?” he countered.
I looked across the room at the mirror, and glared at his reflection.
“I don’t want to tell you why I’m pissed. Suffice it to say, you’re the reason, and that’s that,” I growled.
He tightened his hands on my wrists.
“That’s not it. Tell me fuckin’ why, or I’ll make you tell me,” he hissed.
My fists clenched.
“Because you fucking pouted last night instead of talking to me. Then made Core spend the night and take me to work, when I didn’t want him to be there. I wanted you to be there. But you were being a titty baby,” I yelled.
He moved me until my ass met the counter, crowding so close that I was sure he was either going to beat me or fuck me.
Hopefully the latter over the former, if I had a choice.
“Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice!” I exclaimed.
I waited.
Nothing.
“Like a good neighbor, State Farm is there!” I cried.
I waited.
Again, nothing.
“Shit,” I said, opening my eyes.
“Done?” Casten asked from where he’d trapped me against the bathroom counter.
“My clothes are getting wet. In fact, I think my pants are soaked all the way through,” I grumbled, leaning forward until my upper body was laying across the counter.
Casten sat up until all that was touching me were his hips, where his massive erection dug into my ass.
“You’re cute,” he said, reaching up and pulling my hair out of my ponytail.
I glared. “I’m not cute.”
He grabbed my face and turned it to face the mirror.
His hands were squeezing my face so I looked like I had ten chin rolls and lips three sizes too big.
“See,” he said. “Cute.”

REVIEW
Vodka on the Rocks is the third book in Lani Lynn Vale’s Uncertain Saints MC series. I really love what she’s doing in this series–it’s everything I love about her writing in an edgier and grittier package. She’s taken some risks in this series, and I’ve loved it. It’s exciting to watch her experiment and grow as an author.
The main characters in this book, Casten and Tasha, are perhaps the quirkiest that she has ever written, and that’s really saying something! Casten is a member of the Uncertain Saints, a gym owner, a private detective and a former police officer who was forced into an early retirement due to an injury. He believes his life is too dangerous for him to have a woman in it, and while he is fiercely attracted to Tasha, he’s trying to keep her in the friend zone. Casten is a very stoic guy, and Tasha works overtime to get a reaction out of him.
Tasha is the sister of Annie, the heroine from Jack & Coke. She is a tell-it-like-it-is, sarcastic woman with a bit of baggage. She really is very attracted to Casten, but she’s confused by the mixed messages he’s sending her. She lost her first love, and she’s never really recovered from that experience. She carries a lot of guilt, and while she really likes Casten and wants to pursue a relationship with him, she’s not sure she deserves it. But drama seems to find Tasha, and what she learns changes everything. When the dust settles, where will that leave her and Casten?
Lani has given her fans an interesting story in Vodka on the Rocks. The hero and heroine are both flawed and stubborn and so wildly different that it was almost impossible to see them together. But that’s something that Vale does well—she gives us these characters who appear not to fit, and then she shows us how spectacularly they actually do. No Lani Lynn Vale novel would be complete without a liberal does of humor, and given Tasha’s quirkiness, there was an abundance of it here.
When I think about the authors who I’m most impressed by, Lani is right there at the top of my list. She is an author who puts out eleven books (at least!) a year, the overwhelming majority of which land on the USA Today best sellers list. She consistently gives her fans funny, sexy stories about alpha heroes and the sassy, sarcastic women who love them. I can count on her every month to make me smile and make me swoon, and she did just that once again this month with this book. Lani Lynn Vale’s Vodka on the Rocks gets 5 smooches from me!

Bad Bitch by Christina Saunders Review
3.5 Smooches!
Synopsis
They call me the Bad Bitch. A lesser woman might get her panties in a twist over it, but me? I’m the one who does the twisting. Whether it’s in the courtroom or in the bedroom, I’ve never let anyone – much less a man – get the upper hand.
Except for that jerk attorney Lincoln Granade. He’s dark, mysterious, smoking hot and sexy as hell. He’s nothing but a bad, bad boy playing the part of an up and coming premiere attorney. I’m not worried about losing in a head to head battle with this guy. But he gets me all hot and bothered in a way no man has ever done before. I don’t like a person being under my skin this much. It makes me want to let go of all control, makes me want to give in. This dangerous man makes me want to submit to him completely, again, and again, and again…
REVIEW
Alright, so this book wasn’t really my favorite. Now just because I didn’t love it, doesn’t mean that someone else won’t. Because it was written really well. The sexy time was super steamy and sensual. I am just finding that if I cannot connect to the heroine in a book that I typically do not love it. And Evan was hella hard for me to connect with. She is pretty much an awful person starting right off the bad with really no soft or redeeming qualities but i will say that the more I read the more Lincoln managed to bring out a little more of softer side.
And I did kind of like Lincoln. He was a good guy and seemed to be able to keep Evan in check. I couldn’t quite get over the oddity of their names and the book just felt a little too smutty and dirty and bdsm for my taste, but surely someone out there really loves these things and will really want to read it!
3.5 Stars
~Amie
