Lordy! I was ridiculously excited for the third book in the Filthy Beautiful Lies series. I have loved Pace through both of the first two books and I could not wait for his story. You could definitely read Filthy Beautiful Lust as a standalone but if you want the full experience read Filthy Beautiful Lies and Filthy Beautiful Love first. All great books but for some reason Pace just worked his way right into my heart from the very beginning. Maybe it was the dimple?

I have been in love with that dimple for 2 books and I happy to report that Pace has the big heart to match that dimple. He wants Kylie so much and she sure gives him a run for his money. She a twenty-nine year old single mother with a one year old to care for. She thinks Pace and his twenty-five year old playboy ways will only break her heart after the last brutal break-up she suffered.

Max is the only man I have time for these days. And the only man i will give my heart to.

I think Pace surprised me as much as he did Kylie. What an incredibly sweet mature man. Sigh. Swoon. I just loved him so much.

Her softness, the love I see pouring out of her in every interaction with Max – maybe those are things that attract me to her. Her warmth, her devotion – they are all part of what makes her beautiful.

Pace really broke my heart and I was just so mad at Kylie even though I completely understood her reservations and fears about Pace. Poor poor sexy dimple having pace. SOB

I lay back against the pillows. The smell of warm vanilla and little boy greets me. My chest tightens and I squeeze my eyes close, wondering what I’m supposed to do now.

I cried so hard for Pace. Damn you, Kylie!!!!!

This book really was a fantastic read. I loved all the angst. I loved how erotic and sexy it was. Kendall Ryan is steadily becoming one of my very favorite authors and I cannot wait for Collins’ book! EEK!

His neatly trimmed beard, which I’m assuming he keeps because he either hunts or because he works outdoors all winter, is giving him a rough, dark, and mysterious persona, and I find it extremely attractive.

I blame it on becoming addicted to the Outlander TV series, because I’m crushing like a school girl on this guy, who looks a whole hell of a lot like the sexy Scottish Jamie-dude on the show. All I can say is damn.

His head tilts to the side a bit. “I scare you?” I look him up and down. He’s wearing black jeans that are almost skinny jeans. They’re tucked into black biker boots that I can definitely appreciate. His long sleeve shirt has a yellow Batman emblem on it. It matches his black mask and makes him a character I want to sidekick for. Hard.

His eyes give away nothing, but I can see they’re a slate grey. His lips are naturally pouty and my mouth waters just thinking about being able to bite them.

I swallow before I start drooling. “I didn’t see you there.”

His eyes scan the hall before he looks down at himself. “Kinda hard to miss most days.”

I scoff, thankful I didn’t spray him with spit in the process. “No shit.”

The way he looks at me makes me feel like he’s taking in my features individually, like he’s cataloging them. Those eyes stay on my mouth the longest, and I realize I’m smiling. It immediately drops.

He pushes off of the wall. “Let’s go.”

I have no choice but to follow. Okay, maybe a choice, but I want to follow those tight jeans and even tighter ass anywhere he wants to lead me. His damn black cape is covering it, but when he turned I definitely enjoyed the side view. Unfortunately he doesn’t direct me to a janitor’s closet, but another patient’s room.

Daniel walks over and wraps Her in a hug. “It’ll get easier, Bella dear. I promise.” He places a kiss on the top of her head, squeezes her one last time, and heads back out of the room.

Isabella can hear Taylor and Daniel in the other room most of the day. She avoids eating lunch just to keep away from them. She can’t bear to face Taylor right now. Not only is he perfect looking, but he was concerned about upsetting her, making him even more perfect. What would life have been like had she married someone like him instead? I love me a rocker book and for me personally no one does Hot Rockers with hearts of gold like Michelle Valentine! I am so sad to see my Black Falcon boys go but I am so happy to say I loved Tyke’s story. I had no idea what I was getting into with this story but once again Michelle found a way to keep me on my toes and surprise me!

“My stupid emotions are everywhere. The attraction I was hoping would go away after I allowed him to ravage my body is still there, if not stronger than before.”

Tyke is off to rehab after bottoming out when he feel left behind by the other three love sick members of Black Falcon and while he feels the weight of the world on his shoulders he is in no way prepared for the as sexy as they come therapist, Frannie. After condemning the guys for completely changing their ways after getting involved with their women he soon finds his world turned upside down.

“You’ve taken up every spare inch in my brain since I got here, Frannie.” “Don’t tell me lies, even if they’re sweet.” “I don’t”

Without giving too much away I will say that there were a ton of surprises in this book and I was constantly asking myself what could happen next. I loved how Frannie and Tyke’s relationship though clearly started because of a physical desire quickly grew into one of the sweetest relationships yet. I loved Tyke and how much he cares for her and boy does she need it!

“All this time I never understood that in order to find love again, all I had to do was open up my heart to the possibility of it.”

Michelle Valentine knows how to make a man oh so sexy while keeping him loveable. I am so so so sad that this is the last of the Black Falcon full length books but I absolutely cannot wait to see what Michelle has in store for us in the future! Her writing always grabs me and makes me want to ignore all my responsibilities and pretend that I too and in love with a rock star and he loves me!

“You do not need to bring that up.” Her eyes narrowed and I could tell she was pissed.

“That wasn’t so bad,” Lance said as they walked in the green room following the conference. The others had scattered soon after, but Brea had followed him to express her displeasure. She simply stared at him; he had clearly been hit in the head if he thought that press conference went well.

Brea tried for calm but failed miserably. Her temper didn’t flair up often, but when it did she tended to lay waste to everything in her path. “Easy for you to say grabby hands,” she hissed. “And what the hell were you doing insinuating that we had a relationship?!”

“First of all, I wouldn’t have had to say shit if you didn’t try to eye fuck me on the way in.”

Brea narrowed her eyes, gritting her teeth so she didn’t rise to his bait. “I didn’t try to eye fuck you. And who says shit like that?”

He leaned in so close she could feel his breath, causing a tingle in the base of her spine. “The guy who you were about ten seconds away from pulling into a back room.” She pulled away, needing the distance, before glaring at him.

“And don’t touch me again without permission.”

He chewed on his bottom lip, looking her up and down like he knew exactly where he wanted to touch her. “What pisses you off more? The fact that I had to squeeze your leg to prevent you from spouting off at the mouth…or that you wanted me to squeeze much more than your leg?”

Her nostrils flared, from desire or anger she didn’t know. They say there’s a thin line between love and hate, and she never felt it more acutely than she did today, as though ever nerve ending was on fire. She didn’t know why this man did it for her, but he did.

“You are obnoxious as hell.” It was pretty weak as far as comebacks went, but she couldn’t think straight. All she wanted to do was feel, but she wasn’t about to give in to shit when it came to Lance.

“That all you got? You really are…nice.” When he said it like that it made it seem like she had the plague.

“One of us has to have manners,” she replied in a way that would have made Emily Post proud.

“Yeah, and one of us had to preserve your reputation in the media. Will they speculate about us? Yes. Did I play it off so they think there’s nothing serious about us? Yes. Just wait and see what they write about you, I guarantee you will be the victim of my evil clutches.” She shifted from side to side, knowing he was probably right. They would be much more forgiving of her, but if she said anything they would have circled like vultures around new prey. She should probably thank him for his foresight, but he had been such an ass about everything.

“And as far as the other stuff- the shit between you and me? You look at me like that again, and I guarantee we’ll be doing a lot more than playing grabby hands under the table.” And just like that, he walked away, slamming the door on the way out. She plopped down on the couch, trying to pretend like she didn’t want to call him back for more.
