Can I start off by saying HOLY CRAP!! Be ready to laugh you socks off and be all kinds of hot and bothered with all of the scandalous and ravenous times with Brooklyn! The only regret I have with reading this is that the sequel is NOT out until next year!
I was able to get to know a little about Brooklyn in Danielle Jamie’s The Savanah Series (Must read if you haven’t!) and was absolutely thrilled to be reading Wasted Love. Danielle Jamie brought it to us again and held nothing back. You really get to know about the quick witted, spunky, unfiltered Brooklyn! In Wasted Love, Danielle reels you in with all that is Brooklyn. You feel what she’s feeling, you understand her more, and woah do you melt during her hot steamy moments in the love triangle between Jax (the sexy Aussie – Thunder from Down Under), Xander (a sex on a stick Rock Star), and Dixon (the true Texas good ‘ol boy who causes Brooklyn to feel things she doesn’t quite want to admit).
I couldn’t put this book down! I understand completely how Brooklyn feels when it comes to love and sex. She thinks like most “men” think and wants no strings attached great sex….and prefers not to have it with same person. This is until she meets Xander and has a mind-blowing night with him and wants more. Brooklyn is a beautiful lady who usually gets what she wants and doesn’t have to chase guys, so the fact that she has a little bit of a challenge with Jax and one hell of a challenge with Dixon, makes her only want them all the more.
You will stay on your toes and please have some ice beside you to cool you down! This is a MUST read!
