Synopsis
Alpha-male, dirty-talking, MMA Light-Heavyweight Champion Josh North has only three days until the wedding to prove to single mother and greatest-love-of-his-life Sophie Garner that he is the only man she’ll ever need!
As the wedding day approaches and Sophie begins to get cold feet, Josh comes up with a romantic scheme to prove his love and devotion–and employs all his brothers as Cupid’s messengers!
See Josh North, the North men and the Brothers of Ink and Steel like you never have before in this sweet, sexy and wildly romantic wedding novella!
Sophie Garner answered yes in front of the entire world when Josh popped the question and the diamond ring dangled from his title belt, but is she really ready to take the plunge?
She’s been a single mother for almost three years, and she’s set in her ways, not used to sharing her life with anyone but her daughter, Charlie. Plus, she doesn’t know that she can ever escape the shadow of a past that still haunts her.
Sophie and Charlie are everything Josh wants in the world – but the heartthrob bachelor is learning that commitment and fatherhood are both tougher than training for the title fight! And even though he’d give his life for either of his girls, he’s not so sure he’s got what it takes to be a husband and daddy.
Will Josh win the roughest fight of his life, or will he go down for the count?
Review
‘HOLY GOD, HE’S ON ONE KNEE’
Dare You Forever is a novella that follows Josh and Sophie from the Book Dare. In my opinion to truly enjoy it you need to read Dare first. Sophie and Josh are recently engaged and planning the wedding. The only problem is that with Sophie’s history with her abusive ex she is skittish and scared about getting married again. She loves and trust Josh but for some reason she is having trouble overcoming it. To help her along Josh plans an elaborate series of events to help her learn to love, to trust and to take giant leaps.
“I’m going to love you, like you’ve never seen Darlin’ I’m the only man that you’re going to need.”
For a tattooed sexy fighter, Josh is eternally sweet and understanding. I already loved him for how he loved and treated Sophie’s daughter, Charlie. But after this novella I am head over heels in love with him. I will say that Sophie frustrated me through a lot of this story. I know she was scared but it seems like she didn’t trust Josh at all even after all they went through in the previous book. I had a bit of a hard time with her but in the end I loved their story.
“How is a hangover on your wedding a good thing?” I groan. “It hurts too much to run.”
Allie did a good job once again of mixing humor with drama to create a story that was easy to read in one sitting. I love this series and look forward to getting even more from this cast of characters in the next book, Defy.
