Synopsis

I’m Rob Ziviani.  Oh, you’ve heard of me?  Wait, did we?  Oh yeah, I remember.

No, that’s a lie, I don’t remember.  I’ve had most of New York City and I don’t really remember any of them.  There’s only ever been one. . .

This is my story.  Read it, don’t read it.  I really don’t give a damn.  It’s not going to change my life, so why the hell should I care?

Because I don’t care about anything.

Not since her.

Review

“Love doesn’t exists anyway. Love was ridiculous. Love was useless. That’s pretty much how I felt about it.”

I have been a huge fan of this series since I read the first book, Imperfectly Perfect, but I can honestly say nothing had me more excited than getting my hands on bad boy Rob’s story. I knew there had to be a great story behind why Rob is such a womanizing ASS and OH BOY was I ever right!  A.E. Woodward wrote a man so damaged and hurt by his past that in the beginning I was a bit worried he could not be reformed.

Who gives a shit about hearing those three little words? I love you. Pfft. “Oh God! Oh, Rob! Faster! Harder!” That’s all I ever really needed to hear.

Let’s just sat that I love an ass in a book. As much as I hate asshole men in real life, I somehow love them in my book life and Rob is definitely one. He uses women to get his jollies off and sends them on their way as soon as he is done refusing to ever even kiss them on the lips. The only clue his friends know about why he acts the way he does is a lone tattoo on his forearm reading “Jenny”

“The red flush that colored her cheeks had me questioning how red her ass would get if I spanked her.”

When Rob makes a surprise discovery and finds the girl who hurt him 12 years ago at a coffee shop in his town he is taken right back to that hurt place of being a 17 year old boy in love. Couple that with a budding relationship with Layla, his secretary at work and you have the makings of a drama filled love triangle. How do I always end up reading love triangles. There is literally no other story line in the world that gives me as much anxiety as a love triangle. I literally stayed up all night just to find out how Rob’s story would end and who would get this man.

“People come in and out of your life for a reason whether good or bad, and they serve a purpose.”

So much happens in this book and I don’t want to give it all away because you will honestly be so surprised by the twist and turns that you won’t be able to put the book down. I have yet to read an A.E. Woodward book that did not captivate me the whole way through and leave me guessing till the very end!
