Night Fury: First Act is the first part in a new serial by Belle Aurora. I was warned by the author before I started it that it was a bit “out there” and I assured her that was not a bad thing. I was SO right; I loved it! I went into this completely unsure what to expect and honestly a bit afraid. I don’t know why I would ever doubt I have never read anything by Belle I didn’t love. Her writing is so good I immediately got sucked in and couldn’t stop until I was finished.
“I’d kill a man, but the thought of hurting my friend’s feelings makes me ill? Oh, man I am all sorts of screwed up.”
I don’t want to go into the plot too deep because I personally want to figure out the twist and turns to a story all on my own and not have them handed to me. But Catarina has been raised in a convent from a very young age and is a nun in training but her training is a bit “different” than that of a typical nun. I loved how Catarina’s innocence of being a young woman who has never really been exposed to much outside of the convent really came across in the writing. I really could feel her inexperience in a lot of things but also could tell she was a young woman fighting with the feelings that come with being 18.

I was worried going into this story about the romance aspect since none is mentioned in the blurb and all I will say is while Catarina’s growth and destiny are clearly the main part of the story there are some very, very, very HOT parts too. OMG I loved this part of the story but I refuse to give any of it away, I was so surprised by the outcomes and I want you to be too!

Night Fury is completely different than any other romance I have read. The characters had me constantly guessing and being that this is the first in a serial I am left with quite a few questions that I cannot wait for the answers to! I love a story that takes me away to a place very different than my own life and this is exactly that. It is a crazy and intriguing plot and I am dying for more! Great job Belle now hurry and write me some more!
