Boone Thrasher has never walked away from a fight, and he’s willing to put everything on the line to win the woman he can’t live without in the conclusion to the Real Dirty Duet by USA Today bestselling author Meghan March.

***

In Nashville, stars are a dime a dozen.
I swore I’d never get caught up with one, but Boone Thrasher made a liar out of me.
I said I’d never put my heart on the line, but he didn’t ask before he stole it.
Now we’re facing my worst fears, and we’ll see if this country boy is tough enough to see it through.
Girls like me don’t get happily ever afters… but maybe he’ll prove that wrong too.

Real Sexy is the conclusion of the Real Dirty Duet and should be read following Real Dirty.

Review

Boone and Ripley have not had it easy….with Ripley fighting against their attraction from the beginning and for good reasons and Boone determined to win her heart but not always going about things the right way. And now Ripley’s fears are coming true and we will see if they can come together and fight for each other or if their fears and the obstacles will keep them apart?

“You had your say, and now it’s my turn to talk, sugar. So listen up. What we’ve got isn’t over. Not even close. You can tell me all day long that you never get a break and nothing ever goes right for you, but I’m here to tell you that this is very right.”

We pick right back up from the cliffhanger we were left with in Real Dirty and we really get thrown back into Boone’s and Ripley’s rollercoaster of the emotion that is their lives and their relationship.  I loved that this romance wasn’t easy and they both had to fight through personal struggles- it made it all seem more real and you were able to really connect to the characters.

“You’re meant to be savored, sugar, and all this sweetness is mine.”

I fell for Boone in the first book and my love for him only strengthened in this one. His determination to prove to Ripley that they are meant to be together is admirable and swoon worthy. I love how he wouldn’t let Ripley give up on him and he proved this by being so caring and sweet and also sexy throughout! Ripley is a woman who hasn’t had an easy life. Her slightly broken interior makes her relatable and I really think we saw her grow throughout this book. She starts to let her guard down and  begins to slowly realise that maybe she is worthy of an HEA.

“I decide in that moment I’d move heaven and earth to bring that smile to Ripley’s face as often as possible.”

We had plenty of drama in the first book but this one had even more and plenty of angst to keep us on the edge of our toes and sometimes shouting at our kindle. The author really doesn’t make it easy for these two and throws in plenty of obstacles and twists to keep you guessing and praying that these two get what they deserve…happiness with each other! Overall this duet was an enthralling read about real love…love that is sometimes hard, ugly, and emotional but shows you it is worth it in the end if you can both believe in each other and finding happiness.
