Synopsis

Dillon Keck knew Ashlyn Mayson was drunk when she suggested they get married. He knew he should have taken her back to their hotel room and put her to bed. Instead, he did what he had been craving to do since the moment they met.

Claim her as his.

Waking up married in Vegas isn’t something Ashlyn Mayson ever thought would happen to her. Having Dillon, her boss, a man she thinks is a dick, insist they stay married is absurd, but every time he touches her, she gets lost in him and wonders if maybe they are meant to be together.

But someone isn’t happy for Dillon and Ashlyn and their new found romance, and they’re willing to do anything to keep them apart. Even commit murder.

Review

I love when Aurora gives us the BOOM.  She is a queen of insta-love and alpha male’s and Until Ashlyn delivered on both those fronts. I was completely engrossed in the story from the every beginning. Dillion is the new owner of the dentistry practice where Ashlyn works and from the start, as her boss, he gives her a hard time. He dictates what she can wear and forces her to attend a convention in Vegas with him.

After a few too many drinks Ashlyn wakes up the next morning at the convention with a ring on her finger and her boss, who is now her new husband, in her bed. From the moment they are married, Dillion makes sure that Ashlyn knows this is for the long haul. There will be no divorce, no annulment and no living apart. He only wants her and now that she is finally his, he is never letting go. He is over the top and a little crazy. But that is what I love about an Aurora man.

“Last time I trusted you, we ended up married.” “Well, that can’t happen again now can it?” “At least there’s that.”

While the first 75% of the book was just what I want in a insta-love story I personally felt that it fell a little flat in the end. The build up with his ex-fiancé happened through out the entire story but when everything finally went down it all felt very confusing and rushed. The last 25% was fast paced and exciting but somewhere in the quickness of it all I got lost and found that I had to reread it over to get a few of the answers I was looking for. Still overall I really enjoyed this book and LOVED Ashlyn and Dillion as a couple.
