Review
Ahh! I just adored this one. Kendall is one of my favorite go to authors and this one is definitely one of my favorites of hers. Mostly because of Hale. The man is pure sex on a stick.
“Don’t be misled. I am pure mischief. But I’m the best kind of trouble.”
This book is told from alternating point of views of Brielle and Hale. Brielle has been pining away for her best buddy for years and she is sick of being ignored and treated as one of the guys. So she decides to respond to an ad. She wants to learn to be more sexy, less shy, and more noticeable to her friend. She doesn’t expect the gorgeous, delicious, and ridiculously filthy talking Hale to be her new teacher, though.
“What I want is you on all fours, tits down, ass up.”
Eeep! Hale, goodness gracious. The dirty talking, the dominance, the unbelievable sweetness. He won me over right away! This story really isn’t about Hale, as much as it is about Brielle letting go and loving herself, and accepting what can never be.
“The truth stings, doesn’t it.”
Gosh, this one was really good. It was funny, sexy, and I really liked both the hero and heroine. The book starts off with a bang with some scintillating email correspondence and I do find myself really loving email and text in books. Something about the privacy of it really makes me feel like a voyeur. This book also had a pretty good twist that I did not see coming until it was right upon me and I do love me a good surprise! Kendall did a great job on this first book in this series and I cannot wait for more. No worries, though, this is a standalone within the series with a very happy and hard worked for HEA!
