Synopsis

Sven is a man who takes pride in his ability to separate himself from his emotions. He’s a man who knows who he is and where he’s going in life, a man who needs no one, because needing someone, anyone, is a weakness.

His past taught him love isn’t enough.

Maggie wants the happily ever after, but has never picked the right men, or stuck around long enough, to build a forever. It’s always been easier to get out early, before emotions make things messy.

When Maggie wakes up naked in Sven’s bed, with no memory of the night before, these two must be honest about their feelings and face their fears, so they can build a future together.

Will love be enough for them to get their happy ending together, or will a threat from outside strike them down before they ever have a chance?

Review

SO, I gotta ask a question.  Where are all the Aurora Rose Reynolds men this world?  Where are the guys so alpha that they offer you a job to keep an eye on you.  That they buy you a house so that you have a place sleep?  I need a Sven in my life, people!  So where the heck is this type of man.  Yeah, I know, fictional. thank goodness, right?  Because I would seriously have a coronary if these men did half of the stuff they do to these women in Aurora’s books.  In theory, they are magnificent and hot as hell.  In real life, they are run for your life, stalker material.  It doesn’t stop my major love for them, though.  And if you love all of this authors other men, then you will definitely love Sven too!  Holy hotness, guys!

This story was just fabulous.  I mean Sven is crazy over the top Alpha in love and that is amazing and all but I just freaking loved sassy plus sized model turned investigator Maggie.  She is hilarious, tough, and vibrant.  She is one of my very favorite Aurora gals.  She made me laugh but still managed to still be so credible.  I just adored her.

“Stand the heck back, Sven, before I punch you in your stupid face!”

OH, and I got to visit with some of my favorite from the rest of the series and it was great catching up on their lives and seeing them interact as couples a little further down the road.  But let’s not forget about Justin.  He is one of my favorites ever, still.  Swoon, sigh, giggle!

“My lady needs a comfortable place to sit, and I’m accommodating.”

This one had some sad bits and I often think that maybe this author pulls a little from her own personal life and really that is a good thing because her books just keep getting better and better.  I really liked the Until Series but this chick has been knocking it out of the park with these fun 5 star alpha reads with a bit of action lately.  I cannot get enough of this lady’s books.  Grab it!
