Synopsis

From the New York Times Bestselling authors of Cocky Bastard, comes a sexy new standalone novel.

It started out like any other morning on the train.

Until I became mesmerized by the guy sitting across the aisle.

He was barking at someone on his phone like he ruled the world.

Who did the stuck-up suit think he was…God?

Actually, he looked like a God. That was about it.

When his stop came, he got up suddenly and left. So suddenly, he dropped his phone on the way out.

I might have picked it up.

I might have gone through all of his photos and called some of the numbers.

I might have held onto the mystery man’s phone for days—until I finally conjured up the courage to return it.

When I traipsed my ass across town to his fancy company, he refused to see me.

So, I left the phone on the empty desk outside the arrogant jerk’s office.

I might have also left behind a dirty picture on it first though.

I didn’t expect him to text back.

I didn’t expect our exchanges to be hot as hell.

I didn’t expect to fall for him—all before we even met.

The two of us couldn’t have been any more different.

Yet, you know what they say about opposites.

When we finally came face to face, we found out opposites sometimes do more than attract—we consumed each other.

Nothing could have prepared me for the ride he took me on.  And I certainly wasn’t prepared for where I’d wind up when the ride was over.

All good things must come to an end, right?

Except our ending was one I didn’t see coming.

Review

“Soraya Venedetta was a little devil.”

Stuck Up Suit is the second book by Penelope Ward and Vi Keeland and I for one LOVED it! Perfect mix of humor and angst with a strong heroine to boot. I was hooked from the very beginning.

“You have to know how dangerous I am when  I want something. I will stop at nothing to get it. And there’s nothing more that I want right now than you.”

So, I don’t know about you but I am a super big sucker for texting in books. Witty, sexy or serious I love them all and Stuck Up Suit has them all. The whole premise of the book is that this sexy suited man catches her attention on the train while he is yelling over the phone to an employee. Too wrapped up in his own world not notice anything he leaves but doesn’t even notice that he drops his phone. Soraya grabs it with the intention of returning it to the rude but gorgeous man. But there is no harm in holding onto it and maybe snooping just a bit right? So now she is way intrigued into his man but when she shows up to his office to return the phone he won’t even see her. RUDE. So she leaves the phone but texts it with a little note letting him know how she feels. But then  . . . HE TEXTS BACK!!!!! OMG RIGHT!

“You want to fight with me?”

“I find it turns me on.”

This book simply had so many great things going on that I can’t see anyone not loving it. Graham is a bit crazy and alpha but Soraya can totally handle his over the top tendencies. While there is an insta-lust element they really take the time to flirtatiously get to know each other before jumping straight to the sexy times. Then there is the plot twist surprise that will hook you and make it thoroughly impossible to put the book down. A complete win for me.

‘No man had ever looked at me like that during sex. He was fucking me, body and soul, and I just knew that this was going to ruin me forever.’

For me personally I enjoyed the first collaboration of these two authors, Cocky Bastard, it was fun and surprising and as much as I enjoyed it Stuck Up Suit blew it out of the water. Between the super fun texting element and her work helping out on the advice column, Ask Ida, the story hit all my happy points and was so much more than I could have expected. Can’t wait to see what else these two deliver next.
