Review

‘I can’t wait any longer. There has been too much time lost. I want to start living again. And I can only do that with him. Tucker Lynch. My husband.’

Carrie Aarons is a recent find for me and this is the third book of hers I have devoured in as many months. I love her voice and the unique stories she creates. The writing is clean and the plots dynamic. Found has proven that once again she can continually surprise me and give the story I need not the story I expect.

“I love the woman I married. The one from the woods. But this person, right now? I don’t really like her. I’m not thrilled with this version of the person I married.” I look right at him. “I guess that makes two of us then.”

When Found starts we have moved three years since the end of Lost and EVERYTHING HAS CHANGED. Nothing comes easy to Tucker and Charlotte and adjusting to their new reality is no different. While Lost was all about the passion and reconnection of two old lovers in the midst of an action packed and dangerous situation, Found is about what happens when the excitement dies down and we all have to pay for the consequences of our actions. A bit slower paced than its predecessor but that is needed to dig through all the emotional pain and drama that follows these two around.

‘Char is my addiction now.’

Much like Lost, I was riveted from the very beginning and absolutely loved the fact that nothing comes east for these two but instead they both have to put the work in that is necessary for them to find their HEA. It has become abundantly clear that Carrie Aarons is an author not to miss and I for one cannot wait to see what she brings next.
