Review

Paisley Bronson, is attracted to military men, all branches of the military. One night at a bar, best friend Mckenzie, calls for a bet. A bet of sorts that says Paisley must abstain from military men for a year! If Mckenzie wins, she will finally find out why Paisley is a tag chaser. Easy enough, right? Well in walks Southern boy Corbin Ray! Protecting her from a creepy man, Paisley is instantly attracted to him. Will he be able to crack the shell on Paisley?

One of my friends introduced me to “badge bunnies” which are similar to “tag chasers” but for police officers. She would always point out the girls that would hop from one badge to another. So I’ve got to say when I read the title of this book, I was curious and anxious to read it. I felt for Paisley and understood why she was alright with deployments. It didn’t allow her to fall for a guy that could potentially hurt her. Yet I think she was so back and forth about Corbin that I was a little perturbed. Poor Corbin deserved a little more credit. I will admit though that the scene where they were cooking up a storm in the kitchen was mighty steamy. Ahh an epic scene! Come to think of it, I won’t be able to look at an industrial sized kitchen the same but definitely will not be able to look at roses the same. Two words: sensual roses!

Great read, enjoyed the characters, loved the storyline and adored the happy ending! 4 smooches for Tag Chaser by Kandi Steiner!
