Synopsis

New York Times bestselling author Nalini Singh stuns with a sizzling contemporary romance…

A bad boy wrapped in a sexy, muscled, grown-up package might be worth a little risk…

Molly Webster has always followed the rules. After an ugly scandal tore apart her childhood and made her the focus of the media’s harsh spotlight, she vowed to live an ordinary life. No fame. No impropriety. No pain. Then she meets Zachary Fox, a tattooed bad boy rocker with a voice like whiskey and sin, and a touch that could become an addiction.

A one-night stand with the hottest rock star on the planet, that’s all it was meant to be…

Fox promises scorching heat and dangerous pleasure, coaxing Molly to extend their one-night stand into a one-month fling. After that, he’ll be gone forever, his life never again intersecting with her own. Sex and sin and sensual indulgence, all with an expiration date. No ties, no regrets. Too late, Molly realizes it isn’t only her body that’s become addicted to Fox, but her heart…

Review

I have read a lot of Nalini’s Paranormal books and I really love them.  I also happened to really enjoy Rock Addiction. It was very different than what I am used to from her but it was still a really good story with extremely steamy sexy time through out.

OK, before I get started:  I LOVE THAT EFFING COVER!!!  LOVE IT!  IT IS SMOKING!

Fox is the drop dead sexy lead singer of a famous band and Molly is a curvy quiet librarian with a tragic past that has made her an introvert.  She also is absolutely terrified of the press and being in the spotlight.  Rock Addiction is the story of Fox and Molly overcoming their fears so that can be free to love one another.  These two characters were so incredibly different; Fox all hard and domineering to Molly’s soft and submissive.  I fell in love with them right away and of course, just like Molly, I simply could not get enough of Fox.  Whoo!  The man is hot!

Fox wasn’t a bad boy–he was the harder, more demanding, grown up version.

Fox is extremely dominant and sexy and THE LIP RING!  Mercy!  I really enjoyed watching Molly come into her own with him.  She really learned a lot from their relationship and it was interesting watching her change.  Not that she had much choice because Fox really wasn’t going to stand for less from her.

“I’m really not cut out to be a rock star’s g–”  “Lover”

“Since I can still feel you hot and wet around my cock, I disagree.”

This book also set up a lot of potential for other books.  The side stories from all the band mates, friends, and family really made for an interesting story and I have a feeling these books are just going to get better and better!

As usual, Nalini’s writing was magnificent.  I love all of descriptive and sexy wording.  Her writing makes me pay attention.  Sometimes I find that romance is often written so plainly that I find myself skimming and not enjoying all of the authors words.  This never happens when I read Nalini Singh.  Her words draw me in right away, keeping my attention the entirety of the book.

I really enjoyed this sexy new adult rocker book.  It is a great story and ridiculously sexy!

“Push down your panties, baby.”  Whiskey and sin and pure hard rock.
