Synopsis
New York Times bestselling author Nalini Singh’s new contemporary romance novella is pure hard rock and scorching heat…
What happens when the Gentleman of Rock decides to play dirty?
A drummer for the hottest rock band on the planet, David has a single, powerful weakness: Thea, the band’s publicist and the woman who steals his breath away with her every move.
Only problem is, Thea doesn’t date clients–or musicians. Emotionally scarred by a cheating ex, she’s not about to risk her heart with a man who has groupies buzzing around him like flies. Even if his sexy smile ties her up in knots.
What she doesn’t know is that David is a one-woman man…and he’s madly in love with her. David’s determined to prove he’s worth the risk, and willing to court her, step by exquisite step. Thea’s about to discover just how long and hard this handsome drummer can play.
Review
Rock Courtship is the second book in the Rock Kiss Series by Nalini Singh and it is a novella. It is David and Thea’s story. David is the drummer for a huge band, Schoolboy Choir. He also been coined the Gentleman of Rock by his fans, and that he is. David is sexy as sin but also sweet as pie; a deadly book boyfriend combination, if you ask me.
Thea is Schoolboy Choir’s publicist and she doesn’t date clients. She has also been burned recently by someone she thought loved her.
Gorgeous eyes of light brown she’d seen turn gold with his mood, rich mahogany hair with strands of bronze, a strong, muscled body, and warm-toned skin that made her want to run her hands all over him-he couldn’t be more delicious. Throw in that heartbreaking smile and his personality, and David was a bitably perfect package of man.
He was also a client.
David has wanted Thea since the moment he saw her. He has been patient but the time for patience is over and he wants her now.
He was gone for her. Seriously head over heels.
And so begin his memos. Let me tell you, these memos are hilarious and fun and oh so sexy. I love David for contacting ball-buster professional Thea in a way that she could not help but answer. The memos made me love David; his wit, candor, and sexiness shined through in them.
He’d made her orgasm.
With nothing but the pressure of her thighs on her needy flesh and his words. The damn man had figured out her weak point and he’d aimed his missile right at it: her mind.
This is definitely an enjoyable hot little read and as usual, Nalini did not let me down; amazing lovable characters, beautiful writing, and sexy with a capital S!
