Review

So, this is my very first Jennifer Foor book.  (hangs head in shame)  I know, I know.  I feel like everyone has read her but my TBR list is just crazy long so when the opportunity came for an arc of this book I took it, knowing I would HAVE to make time to read it.  I am so glad I did.  I really did enjoy this light NA read!

“So, my brother is in love with soon to be step-daughter.  Should we call the Maury show now or wait until your father finds out?”

Haha!  I think that quote perfectly summarizes this book.  Poor Chance and Hope really want to be together but she is young and underage and Chance has a sketchy past on top of being Hope’s almost new Step-Moms brother.  So, they have to hide their relationship from everyone and cannot seem to stay away from eachother.

If she walked away from me, I’d be able to look at her knowing that if only for a short time, we were happy together.  It would have to be enough.

I really enjoyed this light New Adult beach type read.  It read easy and the characters were likable and sweet.  Chance especially.  I really did sympathize with him and he was pretty damn swoony.

“I don’t want you to ever forget how important you are.  Without you, my life would be meaningless.  you make me want to be a better person.”

Their story is a sweet one and is left with a bit of a cliffy and I sure do hope to hear more from Hope and Chance.
