Review

Ryan Jeffries is a handsome firefighter that is undergoing a difficult divorce. His ex wife has been dishonest and can’t seem to get her act together. One day he gets fed up with his ex wife’s inability to pick up their daughter. Even through his frustration, his daughters teacher, Mrs. Archer, catches his eye. Although he has sworn off relationships, the idea of dating his daughters teacher does cross his mind.

Mrs Archer, Lindsay, has a past and is found out after a bad car accident. An accident that is worked by Ryan’s EMS team. Their chemistry is instant and I loved how they fit together so well.
An event in the book takes place and it’s shocking and upsetting. The author may have her reasons for that issue to be brought up in her book, but I didn’t feel like it was necessary. That is my only setback for the book. Other than that, the writing was good and I enjoyed the story of Ryan, Lindsay, and Kristen. If you’re looking for a great Saturday afternoon read, I will definitely suggest this book! 3.5 smooches for Ashes to Sparks by Jeanine Binder.
