Holly has just left Creighton after she thinks he isn’t taking her career seriously and the only person who matters to him is himself…but maybe, just maybe she is wrong. Creighton doesn’t let Holly get far and eventually joins he joins her on her tour but can he convince her that this is more than just a fling marriage? can he admit to himself that he might be falling in love with her? And will Holly ever trust in it enough to stop running?

I loved the first in this series and I loved the second just as much!! As we follow on with Holly and Creighton’s love story we delve deeper into their whirlwind marriage and start to discover their true feelings for each other.

Just like the first, there’s passion (the love between them), drama (ex’s come out to play), and such hot sex scenes that I had to stop reading it in public (if you’ve read the first you know Creighton likes to play and is one hot dominant male). I loved that we got to see a deeper side into how Creighton really feels for Holly and my love for him grew even more because of it.

“I’m staring at the woman I’m in love with—that’s right, fucking in love with—and in the space of a heartbeat, I realize she doesn’t feel the same way about me. Maybe she never will.”

Surprisingly the person who got on my nerves in this story was Holly; she really started to frustrate me towards the end; Creighton was trying so hard and doing a lot for her and I actually thought she was quite mean to him back. Creighton is really trying and Holly refuses to acknowledge it and just keeps running!!! But saying that I still like her and I still want them to be together, they are kind of perfect for each other; Holly just needs to stop being stubborn!

I honestly can’t wait for the conclusion of this short series and I’m crossing every finger and toe that these two end up together and people story screwing them over. They both deserve their HEA.
