Review
There simply isn’t a book by this author that I have not completely loved. Her stories are so unique, heartwarming, sexy, and artsy. I admit out of all of her books this series happens to be my favorite. The characters are rich, decadent and thick with so many layers that I never know what I am getting until I am actually in the thick of it. And I have been chomping at the bit for Lee and Karla’s story since King of Hearts, really. This story was unexpected because I wasn’t sure if I would love it like Oliver King’s book. I mean King of Hearts was so epic for me but of course LH Cosway delivered in only the way that she can.
“If you come, I’ll make you come with my tongue, and I won’t expect anything in return.”
You don’t have to read Six of Hearts, Hearts of Fire, or King of Hearts to appreciate this amazing book but you totally should because those books are awesome and you get to meet Karla and Lee in King of Hearts. You get to find out that Lee, a criminal, wants Karla, a police constable.
“Oh, Snap, what are we gonna do?”
Karla and Lee’s relationship this book really kept me on pins and needles. The whole back and forth and build up of sexual tension. It was incredibly hot but also managed to make me so anxious. How would they make it work? Who will give up their life for the other? I was literally on the edge of my seat while reading this one. You just have this niggling feeling the entire book that nothing good can come from Karla and Lee’s infatuation with each other and eventually all of that worrying comes to fruition in a way you never expected. Through all of this, I found myself literally fanning my face from the slow sweet seductive build up. Goodness.
“I can’t get your taste out of my mouth.”
Also, let me mention that LH Cosway always has a kind of artistic premise in her books and I was really wondering how she would work it into a romance about a cop and a criminal but she did and I absolutely loved it but no, I won’t ruin it and tell you what it is because it was cool and unlike anything I had ever read before. You also get the added bonus of meeting Lee’s brothers and let me tell there are some really good books to be read about these guys. I am especially excited for Trevor’s book for some reason because he is just a complete hot mess and so hilarious.
But Lee and Karla really did steal my heart surprisngly They both had secrets revealed that I never expected and their story was a tortured but sweet one.
“We’re stronger in the places that we’ve been broken.”
So as you can tell, this one was full of epic one liners and I could literally quote like half the book because God knows I highlighted most of it but I suggest you just pick this one up immediately and fall in love with Karla and Lee all on your own. Beautifully written, unique, with a sprinkle of panty melting hotness, Hearts of Blue is an amazing addition to the Hearts Series.
‘The world isn’t blue, isn’t lonely any more, and though I was supposed to be the thief, she was the one who stole my heart.’

PS I love this cover hard. It is gorgeous and so darn appropriate but I am not shocked LH Cosway gives such good cover always!
