Synopsis

Review
I have had a pretty good run lately with 5 star reads so I wanted to make sure I was being critical enough with this review, but when I think back on this book, I can’t really think of any flaws so it was an easy 5/5!
Marcus is gorgeous, tattooed and a successful underwear model. He is also a notorious playboy who has never been in a relationship before; No woman has ever held his attention for longer than a quick roll in the hay. That is until his former childhood crush, Tessa, just happens to get a job at his agency and now Marcus can’t get her off his mind!
A lot has happened to Tessa since she last saw Marcus. She is now raising her infant son, Luca all alone, living in constant fear that her abusive ex-husband will get out of rehab and come looking for them. Reconnecting with Marcus also brings a reunion with his sister and Tessa former best friend, Riley. With both Riley and Marcus back in her life maybe Tessa can finally start healing.
The attraction between the two is instant and the consummate bachelor is finding himself wanting to spend all of his time with both Tessa and her son. Marcus is ready to try out this “relationship” thing but Tessa on the other hand can’t understand why this young sexy model would want to get himself tied down to a single mother with major baggage. She is willing to have a good time but is sceptical about the idea of something serious with Marcus.
I absolutely fell in love with Marcus! He was such a sweetie and so super sexy!!! This playboy fell hard and fast! Tessa, although scarred by her past came across as a strong woman, determined to make a better life for herself and her son. I found that these characters had great chemistry and I truly enjoyed their journey to happiness. If you like romance, steamy sex scenes, suspense and even a few laughs this is the book for you! Book two is Riley’s story and I can’t wait to dig into that one as well.
