Well slap my ass and call me bacon! I LOVED THIS BOOK!
I was hooked from the very beginning! Started laughing at first chapter title…and never stopped with the antics, snarky and sassiness, and sense of humor of Azaria “Ree” Gable.
Ree lives by a “One Month Rule” which is normally a “One Night Rule” unless the sex is worth keeping someone around a tad longer. She decided to instate this rule so there would be no such thing as heartbreak for her.
After Ree’s mother has a stroke, she decides to move back to her small home town of Belton so she can be closer. She’s the baby in a family of 4 children (2 brothers and 1 sister…all of which have settled down and are married with families of their own), and this being so Ree must live it up and be the Show Off, Attention Getter and, PIA (Pain In the Ass).
On her last night in Des Moines, she decides to live it up while saying goodbye to friends and meets the “delicious slice of heaven sent straight from the Gods”.
Following morning…
“This guy, I would seriously consider dating for a month. Though, with his looks, he has to be trouble and would most definitely break my heart. Maybe I could wake him up and have a little morning sex before I leave…
Wait.
Did I even have sex with him?
Shit! I can’t remember!!”

Fate is such a sneaky bitch…or not… The tall, dark and handsome stranger is none other than Grayson Cole, Chief of Police in Belton! Yes, Ree’s home town where all eyes are on her to see what craziness she’ll stir up!
Chief Grayson Cole…what can you say about him?? He’s a “Fucking panty melting trifecta!” I adore Chief! He could have kicked himself in the ass that he let Ree sneak out without getting more information about her. It was clear to him that night that she was the kind of sweet that he hadn’t even known he was looking for. Now that luck is on his side and she’s literally ran into him again…he’s not going to let her get away so easily!
The whole town gets to watch the Grayson and Ree show. They get to laugh and enjoy at the acts of Ree yet again. Through all this banter and the romantic comedy, there is a plot to the story of a stalker and how things can work out for the better. It also teaches Ree that the past can always come back and bite you in the ass.
With the all witty and raunchy humor and the romance, you cannot pass this book up! You’ll get an ab workout with laughing so much! I’m ready for more characters stories from Jessica!
