My Kinda Wedding by Lacey Black Review

5 SMOOCHES!

SYNOPSIS:

You are cordially invited to celebrate the marriage of Meghan Summer to Nicholas Adams, D.D.S., at four o’clock in the afternoon on Saturday, the sixth of May, at the beachside home of Alison Jane and Sawyer Randall. Reception to follow.

The Summer family comes together once more as the final sister prepares to tie the knot. Take a journey with each couple, from the rehearsal to the reception, and the wedding in between. And don’t forget about the grandparents! You never know what they’ll have up their sleeves…

*This book is a 25,000-word novella that would be enjoyed best after reading My Kinda Forever, Summer Sisters book 6. Though part of a series, this book can be read as a standalone. It is intended for those 18 and over due to graphic language, descriptive sex, and the world’s most inappropriate grandparents.

REVIEW:

I have loved every single book in Lacey Black’s Summer Sisters series, and I’m a little sad to see the series ending. It’s kind of bittersweet to say goodbye to these characters, but I’m really glad Lacey gave her readers this novella to end it on a very happy note. She tied up the last loose end in My Kinda Wedding by giving her readers the much-anticipated wedding of the final Summer sister, Meghan. It was a poignant, full-circle moment in this series that brought tears to my eyes and put a lump in my throat while making my heart soar with happiness.

A perfect ending to a fantastic series, Black brings her readers up to date with a favorite family and the chance to end a beloved series on upbeat note while guiding them onwards to the next series. I loved every single thing about this novella, and I’m looking forward to whatever is coming next! Five smooches from me for My Kinda Wedding by Lacey Black!
