Mr. Tucker by Justine Elvira Review
3.5 Smooches
Synpopsis
Warning: Mr. Tucker is hot and sexy smut at its finest. Mr. Tucker is recommended for mature readers 18+ due to subject matter and sexual content.
A senior bet.
Almost every school has one–a tradition that’s passed down from year to year. My small school in Tennessee is no different. While some seniors at schools all across the country have senior pranks or senior ditch days, our school has the senior bet.
Lose your virginity by spring break–have proof–and you’re in the running for prom queen.
Does it sound ridiculous?
It absolutely is, but ridiculousness won’t stop me from getting my prom queen nomination. I’ve had plenty of opportunities to lose my V-card to one of the boys at my school, but I don’t want to sleep with a high school boy. I want a man with experience. I want the man that’s been starring in my wet dreams at night. I want my history teacher. I want Mr. Tucker.
Review
So I struggled with rating this book. Parts of it had me intrigued and parts had me sighing. It mostly breaks down to the first half of the story was just too over the top for me personally. I knew going it that it was going to have a good amount of high school hijinks and chees. Anyone who has read the blurb should already understand that. But for me Savannah’s relentless pursuit of Mr. Tucker was cringe worthy at times. She was relentless in getting what she wants as high school girls are. The main issue was that in that I could not connect or relate to her.
Now, the second half of the book help a lot of promise and the cringe worthy moments died down and the forbidden love story shinned through. I will say that this was WAY sexy for a high school student teacher and I feel you should know that going in, not that I am complaining but different readers expect different things from a book that takes place in high school.
I love me a student teacher romance and have read quite a few of them. Overall, this one was light and fun without too much angst. Extremely sexy with a hero that can go from sexy nerdy teacher to the man in charge in just a moment. If you are into forbidden love and stories verging on the erotic side than this is one you should try!

[as·sump·tion:]
a thing that is accepted as true or as certain to happen, without proof
They say when you assume that you make an ass out of you and me.
Kenton Mayson learned this lesson firsthand when he made assumptions about Autumn Freeman and the kind of woman she is based on what little information he had. What he finds out is she’s not only beautiful, but also smart, funny, a fighter, and exactly the kind of woman he wants to share his life with.
Autumn made assumptions of her own about Kenton, and now he needs to prove her wrong in order to protect her and their future.
OBLIGATION
[ob-li-gey-shuh n]
An obligation is a course of action that someone is required to take, whether legal or moral.
At six years old, Myla was sent to a family her father and mother had chosen for her when they knew their time on earth was almost up. What they were unaware of was what they thought would be her safe haven would become her living hell.
Kai has been watching Myla from afar since he took over the family business from his father and inherited the responsibility of keeping her safe. When word gets back to Kai that Myla is not only in danger, but that his assets are being compromised, he immediately jumps into action and does the only thing that can be done at the time by marrying her.
Neither Myla nor Kai would have thought that something that started off as a farce would become the most important thing either of them could’ve ever done.
DISTRACTION
Distraction: The great intensity, novelty, or attractiveness of something other than the object of attention.
Sven is a man who takes pride in his ability to separate himself from his emotions. He’s a man who knows who he is and where he’s going in life, a man who needs no one, because needing someone, anyone, is a weakness.
His past taught him love isn’t enough.
Maggie wants the happily ever after, but has never picked the right men, or stuck around long enough, to build a forever. It’s always been easier to get out early, before emotions make things messy.
When Maggie wakes up naked in Sven’s bed, with no memory of the night before, these two must be honest about their feelings and face their fears, so they can build a future together.
Will love be enough for them to get their happy ending together, or will a threat from outside strike them down before they ever have a chance?
About the Author:
Aurora Rose Reynolds is a navy brat who’s husband served in the United States Navy. She has lived all over the country but now resides in New York City with her Husband and pet fish. She’s married to an alpha male that loves her as much as the men in her books love their women. He gives her over the top inspiration everyday. In her free time she reads, writes and enjoys going to the movies with her husband and cookie. She also enjoys taking mini weekend vacations to nowhere, or spends time at home with friends and family. Last but not least she appreciates everyday and admires it’s beauty.

Anna Martin was looking for a nanny position,
but she found more than she bargained for when she fell for single dad Nic
DeLuca. When she finds out he’s a mafia boss, her head tells her to run but her
heart tells her to stay. With his baby girl in the hospital, Anna stands by her
man in his time of need. But when danger swirls around them, will they
manage to find happiness together?
Please
note: Nic & Anna’s romance is a three-part story, but there are no
relationship cliffhangers.
EXCERPT
Damn,
the girl was fast. But Nic was just as quick, because I found myself lifted off
my feet, carried into the house, and placed onto the couch in the living room,
in what felt like the blink of an eye.
He
sat down next to me, leaning over, his face close to mine. “We need to
talk.” I pushed against his chest, trying to get out from under him, my
mind a jumbled mess after everything I’d just heard. What I’d just learned
about him. My Nic was a mobster. It was almost impossible to believe. He was
into bad stuff, illegal stuff. Things about which I had zero clue because he’d
kept me in the dark.
“We’ll
talk,” he promised, his hand sliding under my robe and up my inner thigh.
“After.”
“After?”
I stuttered, my breath hitching when he sank two fingers inside me.
“After
you come on my hand, in my mouth, and on my cock.”
I
pushed against his chest again, even as my legs widened slightly, giving him
better access to my body. “I’m angry with you, Nic. And hurt. And a little
scared.”
He
stilled over me, staring down at me with pain filled eyes. “I will never
hurt you, mia dolce. Never.”
It
was a heartfelt vow, and I believed him. It might make me the most naïve person
on the planet, but I knew deep in my bones that Nic didn’t mean me any harm.
“I
know,” I whispered softly, one hand sliding up his chest to cup his cheek.
“But I’m still unbelievably angry with you.”
“Then
take your anger out on my body, Gianna, and let me show you exactly how sorry I
am.”
“But-“
I tried to protest. Despite everything, my body responded to his dark tone. A
quick twist of his wrist had his fingers rubbing against my G-spot and any
coherent thought fled my brain.
With
expert strokes, he drove me higher and higher until I was fulfilling the first
part of his promise, coming on his hand. Then he dropped to his knees, lifting
my legs over his shoulders, and his mouth latched on to me. He ate at me like
he was starving—licking and sucking while he held my hips down so I couldn’t
move. It wasn’t until I’d come twice more that he lifted his head. I saw my
wetness glistening on his beard before he wiped it against my belly, bared as
the robe had parted wide down the middle. Then he unbuckled his belt, unzipped
his pants, and pulled his cock out. It was hard and bobbed thickly against his
stomach.
Without
any preamble, he lifted my hips into the air, lining us up and driving inside
of me. Sensitive from my orgasms, I felt every inch of him as he slid against
my drenched heat. He was so big, my body had to stretch to take him all.
Somehow, I was both uncomfortable and excited at the same time. Then he pulled
out, only to thrust back in and my mind blanked as he pounded into me. Deep and
hard. I’d thought he’d been rough with me the night before, but it was nothing
compared to the way he was taking me now. Like he owned me, and my body loved
it. I was caged between his muscular body and the couch, writhing in ecstasy,
and even with what I knew about him, it felt like exactly where I belonged.
When his mouth dropped down to mine, claiming it in a searing kiss, I was
thrown over the edge once again, taking him with me.
Chest
heaving, on a panting breath, Nic growled, “Now we can talk. And you’ll
listen to me, with my come filling your pussy.”

Excerpt
Quaid
I tapped the edge of my thumb on the black-and-white mug shot photo and couldn’t stop the grin from tugging at my mouth.
She tried to fire me.
She was five-foot-nothing, a lifetime younger than me, had multicolored hair that had seen better days, wild eyes that couldn’t decide if they wanted to be green, gold, or brown, while dressed in convict orange and obviously scared out of her ever loving mind, yet she still tried to fire me. If it had been any of my other clients—the cop accused of sexual battery, the frat boy accused of manslaughter over a bet on a football game gone wrong, the middle school teacher accused of pedophilia and having an inappropriate relationship with several of her students, or the pro football player accused of domestic abuse—I would have tipped my proverbial hat, wished them luck while I cut my losses, and walked away without a backward glance. People always committed crimes. People always needed a good defense, so it wasn’t like I was hurting for clients, but there was something about the girl. Something about the defiant tilt of her chin and the raw desperation in her tone when she begged me not to call her father.
“I don’t want your help. I don’t want anything from you.” She sounded like she meant it when she said it, but I figured she was too young and too scared to know exactly what she wanted or needed. Regardless, it was still refreshing to hear.
Everyone always wanted something from me and my help was usually the least of it.
I tapped the picture again, wondering why I found it so easy to believe that she really hadn’t been a part of the boyfriend’s plan to rob the bar. She wasn’t anyone’s idea of a model citizen and she had the shady track record to prove it. She was too young, and frankly too adorable, to have a file this thick. From what I could see, she had a set of parents always willing to ride to the rescue when she got herself into trouble. She looked like some kind of colorful woodland fairy from a Disney movie with her odd hair and delicate features. None of it added up, but the sincerity in her tone when she said she would never have gone with the boyfriend if she knew his intent and the fear in her eyes when I mentioned her father seemed genuine.
I learned long ago to treat everyone like they were guilty of whatever it was I was paid to defend them against. I didn’t want to know the truth. I didn’t want to know the circumstances. I wanted my clients to listen to me and let me do my job as I tried to convince the rest of the world they were innocent, regardless if they were or not. But this girl with her faded, rose colored hair and turbulent eyes oozed innocence through the cracks of a very guilty façade.
Because I was intrigued and actually believed the girl might be innocent, I wasn’t going to let her fire me. I was going to call her father and hope that he would help me keep her out of the slammer while I figured out how to plea bargain her charges down or get them dismissed altogether. Again, because a cop was involved in the robbery and because the boyfriend, junkie or not, was offering up a pretty plausible explanation for Avett’s involvement in the crime, nothing was a slam dunk, yet. I was going to help her whether she wanted me to or not.
And don’t miss the first titles in The Saints of Denver Series!

Review
“Bad decisions lead to great stories.”
I am a longtime fan of Jay Crownover and this new series, Saints Of Denver, has a wonderfully fresh feel for her while still visiting with characters we know and love. I will be honest and say that going into this book I was skeptical about her ability to make me feel for Avett and Quaid. But damn did I not just feel for them I fell for them too.
“I don’t know what you thought was happening here, but it was just a job. You are a client, like any other client I represent, Avett. Nothing more, nothing less.”
We will start with Avett because while I really liked her Quaid is the true star of this story. Going in from other books we knew that Avett has a penchant for trouble and a lack of caring how that affects others. But this time her bad decisions have landed her in jail and Asa has sent hot shot lawyer Quaid to get her out, for a fee of course. Avett is a character who truly shows growth and depth. And while I thoroughly enjoyed watching her learn and grow she was outshined a bit by her dad, Brite. Brite is the dad we all want and the man we want all men to strive to be. His story of love loss and second chances was one of the best things in the book for me.
‘What was one more impending disaster, when it was attached to rough hands that brushed along my exposed rib cage and paused under the achy swell of my breast? What was one more bad decision on top of all the other ones that had led this particular mammoth-sized bad decision to my door?’
Now Quaid, I thought Quaid was an arrogant jack a** who only cared about money and for the beginning of the story he proved this to be true. But the more and more the story unfolded the more complex he became with underlining issues and insecurities. But the hardness to which he fell for Avett and the lengths he would go to help and protect her made me love him too. He is a clean cut, prim and proper lawyer but he accepts her and her pink hair for the craziness she is. I adored him. He loves with his whole heart and for this I love him with my whole heart as well.
“Some of us are born into the storm and some of us are born to chase after it,”
Once again Jay has penned a story I couldn’t put down and while I loved everything about Avett and Quid I will say that for me personally there was almost too much sex but I know this is not an issue for everyone. Still once again I have fallen for Jay’s men (and women) and am completely entranced with her side characters and cannot wait for more.

Lost by Carrie Aarons Review
4.5 Smooches
Synopsis
We knew each other a lifetime ago. And then…
We lost childhoods. We lost opportunities. We lost love.
Fate is giving us another chance. But a chance at what?
Because even though we’ve been brought back to each other under the worst of circumstances…
We are still. So. Damn. Lost.
Review
Lost is completely different and wonderfully unique. When we meet the hero, Tucker, he isn’t the beautiful poster boy he once was. Instead he is an unwashed, homeless addict with sores on his mouth. And he has hit the lowest of lows which leaves him on the lamb with Charlotte a girl from his past who is now his hostage. I mean if that doesn’t scream READ ME I don’t know what does.
‘I’m an addict. I have an addictive personality. And instead of drugs and alcohol. I’ve replaces those toxic substances with the noises that Char makes when I drive into her.’
There are several things I think that Carrie Aaron did exceptionally well. First off is the backstory felt completely believable. It was a case of teenage infatuation and Tucker acted like a typical teenage boy in lust. I know some might not like how he treated the Charlotte, the beautiful but nerdy girl. But for me with him being a popular jock it made sense, I didn’t like it but it made sense. Second, I loved how Charlotte has matured and aged. She doesn’t just roll over and yet she also cannot deny the pull Tucker has had over her since they were children. Lastly, she made sure not everything came to them easily. I feel like they worked to get where they are and in that process they reconnected and slowly developed feelings. It wasn’t a case of being trapped together for two days then they are going at it. The build up was fantastic and had me on edge constantly. I was sucked in from the first page and unable to stop till the last.
‘This is what love it. It’s hard, insane, dirty and completely frustrating. But it’s also incredible, wonderful, awe-inducing and completely freeing.’
Now this is a duet so of course you know that mean CLIFFY, but it’s one you see coming so it’s not totally shocking. Still I am more than a little curious how the author plans on getting these two out of this mess and am completely eager to get my hands on Found and some answers.
