I loved Emma Chase’s Getting Real so much! It’s a single dad, age-gap romance featuring a doctor and nurse who are co-workers at a small town hospital. Connor is 42, divorced and a single father to three boys. He’s handsome, he’s got a great extended family and he’s an ER doctor. Violet is 30, she’s single, and she’s a nurse who has a big old secret crush on Connor. She’s hilarious, smart and she’s great at her job. She’s honest, down-to-earth, a little clumsy and has a huge heart. She’s also gorgeous.
I loved these characters, and I loved their story. The Getting Some series is my favorite by Emma Chase—I’ve read all three books, and I’ve enjoyed each one immensely. Violet and Conner’s love story was a wonderfully addictive blend of emotion, angst, steam and sweet romance. Getting Real was a feel-good romance that had me swooning, sighing and smiling the whole way through. Five smooches from me for Getting Real by Emma Chase!
