SYNOPSIS:

From Wall Street Journal bestselling author Devney Perry comes a small town, fake relationship romance.

Eloise Eden’s pride and joy is her family’s hotel in Quincy, Montana. Her lifelong dream is to own The Eloise Inn. All she has to do is prove to her parents that she’s the epitome of responsible. That her days of being duped and making reckless decisions are history. She’s so close she can taste it.

Until after one weekend in Las Vegas, she comes home married to a stranger.

Jasper must have put her under a spell with those soul-deep eyes because after a single night together, they woke up husband and wife. Her only hope is to keep this marriage a secret until it’s annulled. Then she’ll pretend it never happened.

Except Jasper begs her to stay married. To fake it for three months so she can accompany him to a wedding. Maybe she’s lost her mind to agree. But her brooding husband seems desperate. It’s only three months, right? Then she’ll say goodbye to Jasper Vale, and with any luck, hello to her new hotel.

REVIEW:

Eloise Eden and Jasper Vale learn the hard way that not everything that happens in Vegas stays there. Book four in the Edens series may have started in Vegas, but like the rest of the series, Jasper Vale is set in the quaint Montana town of Quincy. The Edens are Quincy town royalty, and Eloise is the people-pleasing, hard-working member of the family hotel, The Eloise. Jasper and Eloise’s fake marriage was a heart-string-puller. Jasper is Eloise’s brother-in-law, Foster’s professional trainer. She’s in Vegas for the weekend with her sisters to watch Foster’s UFC fight when she meets him. One thing leads to another, and a drunken hookup slash wedding ensues.

Eloise’s dream is to own the family hotel that she’s been managing for years, but after a managerial misstep with a former employee ends in a lawsuit, she’s been working double-time to regain her parents’ trust in her abilities. A surprise marriage to a stranger during a Vegas trip isn’t exactly going to win their approval, and she’s hoping to undo this entanglement before they can catch on to it. Jasper follows her to Quincy, and the two of them decide to make a temporary go of things. The problem is that their attraction didn’t end in Vegas, and the more time they spend together, the closer—and hotter—things become. Lines become blurred as fake is starting to feel pretty darn real.

I really love small town romances, especially when they’re centered on a big family, and The Edens series is totally sating that craving for me. Jasper Vale was full of angsty emotion, sizzling chemistry and a heart-tugging, heat-filled, complicated love story. As usual with Devney Perry, the romance is wrapped up in an engaging plot full of interesting side characters, a couple twists and turns and a splash of suspense. Jasper Vale was an unputdownable pleasure to read, and I devoured this steamy, swoon-worthy romance in a single sitting. Jasper Vale was a wonderful addition to this fantastic series, and I cannot wait for the next book in the series. Five smooches from me for Jasper Vale by Devney Perry!
