My life is content. Living and working in my small hometown of Pine Village is right where I want to be, especially with family and a few close friends nearby.
It’s taken me some time to dig my way out of the negative spotlight I found myself under a few years back, thanks to an old photo from college that resurfaced. The biggest hurdle we face is the fact she’s my daughter’s teacher, and that’s the one rule she’s not willing to budge on.

REVIEW:
Lacey Black’s Pretty Relentless was a completely charming, slowly-burning small-town romance that captured the magic of a secret relationship. This story focused on Ava, the shy 5th grade teacher, and Gavin, the single dad of one of her students who also had a crush on her in high school. Their chemistry is undeniable, with sizzling tension that built naturally and kept me tapping my Kindle. Ava has rules, though, and she won’t date the fathers of her students, but Gavin is, well, relentless, and so begins their secret relationship.
As is always the case with Lacey Black, her storytelling was both heartfelt and compelling, which made this romance a satisfying and addictive reading escape. Five smooches from me for Pretty Relentless by Lacey Black!
