Synopsis
Brecken Kane had been damn good at his job in the military. The experience served him well when he moved into the private sector. Brecken’s new security business is booming, and he’s settling into civilian life. Little does he know his newest client’s request to save his daughter will change everything.
Hadley Gresham knows she isn’t likely to make it out of the jungle alive. She’d distanced herself from her parents after she learned her dad made his money selling illegal arms. Kidnapped by his competitors, she knows there’s little chance he’ll be able to save her.
Luckily for Hadley, her father hires Brecken. He’d never leave an innocent woman behind, let alone the one he quickly comes to consider his. Brecken might be Hadley’s rescuer, but she’s the one who saves his soul.
Review
Save Your Soul is the follow up book to Bare Your Soul. Both are standalones but have intertwining characters. Save Your Soul is so far definitely my favorite in this series of sexy and fast reads. Rochelle Paige is a quickly becoming master at delivering a quick and steamy story that you cannot put down.
Breckan Kane is on a mission to save kidnapped Hadley. Hired by his father he is determined to get her out of there safely but once he sees a photo of the beautiful and innocent Hadley he is also determined that she will be his.
“When I’d glanced at the photo my client had shown me of his daughter, my hesitation ceased to exist. Only one things mattered – saving Hadley from the men who’d taken her.”
When I go into stories like these I go in with different expectations than full length dramatic books. I know they will get sexy super fast and I that most everything about it will be a bit over the top (the plot, the hero, the amount of time it takes to fall in love.) These are qualities in these short erotic stories I look for and am happy to have found them all and much more in Save Your Soul. Super steamy with a surprising action packed plot if you like fast and sexy tales with a sassy heroine who can hold her own that pick this one up.
