Synopsis

My name is Slade Merrick and I’m a f*cking sex addict . . .

I’ve been told it’s a problem. But I see it as a passion; something that I’m good at. And who the f*ck stops something that they’re good at?

They want me to seek help; get my c*ck in check. Don’t judge my lifestyle. You’re no better than me. Just admit it, you like to f*ck too. Sex is what I do best; my own personal high, so I embrace it instead of being ashamed.

When I’m not f*cking, I’m slinging drinks at Walk Of Shame or stripping my way into your bed; another thing I’m good at. Every woman’s darkest fantasy brought to life.

So, am I stopping? F*ck no. Sex is beautiful, raw and erotic and I get off knowing I can have it with anyone I want . . . with the exception of her.

Aspen.

She walks into the club swaying those hips, instantly drawing my c*ck to attention. She’s pure perfection. That is, until she opens that mouth, drawing me in and for the first time in forever I want something more than sex. I want her and she hates it.

Things get dirty. Dirty is what I like; it’s how I live. But . . . she’s playing a game she can never win.

***Author’s note*** Due to strong language and a very high amount of dirty, sexual content, this book is not intended for readers under the age of 18. This is #1 in the Walk Of Shame series of novellas that will all be STANDALONE reads. If you’re not into, cocky bad boys with filthy mouths and even filthier sex, then this series is not for you. If you are . . . then, come meet the dirty boys of Walk Of Shame.

Review

I am going to be honest.  From the synopsis, I thought this book would be hella dirty, which it was, but I also did not think I was going to be so emotionally invested in this story or love it as much as I did.  I really did love it, too.  This is my first Victoria Ashley book and I am simply over the moon about it and shouting to everyone from the mountain tops about Slade.

Slade is a dirty sex addicted stripper/borderline alcoholic.  The very first page and you are already given a very good idea of his paltry lifestyle.  I thought I would be disgusted by him but I wasn’t.  The exact opposite happened.  I simply fell in love with this incredibly damaged and broken man.  I am a sucker for a man with a tragic past and you can tell right away that Slade is being pulled under and ruined by something so horrific he literally cannot function without sex and alcohol to numb the pain.  Until he meets Aspen.  She is a game changer for him and he certainly needs one after living this destructive lifestyle for years.

Aspen knows right away that Slade is trouble but she is literally in a fog of sexual want when this man is around.  I cannot say I blame her.  Slade is ridiculously dirty and flirtatious and combined with his stunning looks he is a heady combination.  Apsen is sassy and funny but is dealing with her own form of heartbreak right now and wants to steer clean of Slade.  With her being his temporary room-mate, Slade has his sights on Aspen.  He wants her but only for a night, as per his rules.

Now, lets get down and dirty.  No, really dirty.  Like Slade dirty.  This man had one of the dirtiest mouths I have ever read, and he almost had me panting.

“The taste of your sweet pussy has been on my tongue all day; teasing me and making my fucking cock hurt.  You better fucking hold on tight while I devour your pussy; taste you in ways you’ve never been tasted.”

Ummmm…yes please.  The sex scenes were scorching.  I loved Slade and Aspen’s violent coupling.  It just felt so raw and real.  Slade’s pain really came through in these scenes making me love and lust after him just the same.

Not only was this book obscenely sexy.  It had an incredible story of overcoming and moving on.  It was written really well and kept my attention from beginning to end.  I enjoyed meeting all of the characters and am really excited for the next book in this series.  I just know it is going to be smoking hot.  I ,also, wanted to say that while this book was on the short side it did not feel rushed at all.  Some short books feel incomplete or rushed and Slade felt like a complete story with a superb Happily Ever After.
