Tethered Bond by Emma Hart Review

4 Smooches!

Synopsis
Detective Drake Nash: hot, alpha, bossy, and… mine.
Now, if someone could tell his ex that… I don’t care if the summer fayre is coming to Holly Woods and she’s on the planning committee. What I do care about is sugar-filled food, bright lights, late nights… and danger. The type that won’t come in the form of Nonna’s new cantankerous British parrot, Gio. (Please see the damage done to Mom’s new curtains.)
Unfortunately, when the danger comes, it comes in the form of something Holly Woods has never seen. The town is rocked to its core, and once again, I’m in danger. Only this time, it isn’t because of my clients—this time, I’m in danger because of who I am… Because of my heritage.
And despite the HWPD’s best efforts, the bodies keep on piling up.
Drake’s determined to protect me. I’m determined that I can do it myself.
Danger. Mystery. Darkness. Malice.
It’ll be a miracle if any of us make it out of this with guns unfired, cupcakes still frosted, and hearts intact…
Review
“You’re a special kind of crazy, and I happen to be real fond of your kinda crazy.”
That’s right, folks. Drake and Noelle are back in the third book in the Holly Wood Files series and they are just as ridiculous and hilarious as in the previous books. You still get a good dose of Noelle and her love for cupcakes and, well food in general. You still get to witness the hot Drake try to boss sassy Noelle around. And you still get crazy Nonna, only this time you get a bonus. Gio. A crazy perverted talking parrot.
“Hot wench! Hot Wench!
This third time around was still full of laughs and pure craziness and of course there is a murder and some suspense thrown in for good measure. I really enjoyed it and I was really excited to be reunited with sexy as hell and alpha Drake. This whole gang kept the laughs coming as usual. If you have enjoyed the first two books in this series than I definitely think you will love this one. They just keep getting funnier, sexier, with a bit more suspense. Great series!
“Admit it. You, the big, bad wolf, hate needing to ask this little piggy for help.”
