Synopsis
Royalty requires sacrifice.
As King Camden’s health declines, the need for an heir becomes crucial, impossible to ignore. I KNOW, I KNOW! If you have been following this series as diligently as I have, you are probably in an upheaval about this book. Everyone seems to be huffing and puffing about it. I will let you guys know right now that what you think might happen, well, it does. But, Shay Savage managed to pull it off tastefully and it isn’t full throttle in your face. It was well done and honestly, stuff like this occurs in Historical’s. It just does.
“There is nothing I have to offer you except grief!”
So let’s move on because this one was loaded with the kind of gut churning angst I adore. And so much betrayal and drama to boot! I am hooked on this series. I cannot wait until the next installment. Because we are left with a ridiculous amount of questions. And I am literally dying for Branford to make some heads roll!
