Synopsis
TRUST – verb: to believe in the reliability, truth, or strength of another.
Up until now, Logan Mitchell has never had much of a reason to trust anyone.
Having struggled with a self-identity crisis throughout college, he’s spent the years since then creating a sophisticated facade to present to the world.
It’s an armor he thought was impenetrable—until he met Tate Morrison.
The gorgeous, headstrong bartender he’d sat across from only months ago has taken a tight hold of his heart, and Logan is discovering that it’s time to let go.
It’s time to let someone inside.
After years of placing his dreams on hold for his family, Tate has finally chosen to do what makes him happy and follow his heart.
The one thing he never would’ve imagined was that it would lead him into the arms of a man—and not just any man—the striking, never-takes-no-for-an-answer Logan Mitchell.
Tate has fallen hard, and as his world is turned on its axis and they move forward together, he finds his life becoming more entwined with the confident, successful lawyer.
Even though neither man expected the other, it’s time to trust in their relationship—but not everything comes so easily…
Review
If you have read the first two books in the Temptation Series, then I know without a doubt that you have been on pins and needles for Trust. I know I have. I missed Logan and Tate immensely, they are my most favorite m/m couple after all.
Trust picks right up where Take leaves off. Ohh, the drama. Trust is loaded with quite a good bit of it right off the bat. You have Logan’s crazy ex trying to worm his way back in, Tate’s family issues to deal with, and Tate and Logan’s impending future ahead; all kinds of big decisions about their lives together. Throw in something really really tragic and ohhhh, my boys made me cry.
“I dare you to try.”
“Talk about coming full circle.”
But just because the conclusion of Tate and Logan’s story was full of angst doesn’t mean that it was not sexy as hell. Because it absolutely was. After all, who writes m/m sexy time better than Ella Frank? That’s right, NO ONE! It was even more seductive this time with a bit of role playing and even more kink added in. Good lord, Logan. Whew!
“You like that idea, don’t you? Watching us fuck?”
Don’t worry though, because Tate really comes into his own in this book. He really starts to truly accept his love for Logan even if it is something he never imagined for himself. He was totally swoon worthy and so bossy at times. EEP!
“Tonight, your ass is mine.”
As usual Ella’s writing is phenomenal. I am not usually a fan of romance in third person but it has absolutely never bothered me with her books. Her characters and writing just draw you in. Tate and Logan’s story is epic, sweet, and sexy. The conclusion to this tale is absolutely amazing and I enjoyed every minute of it. I feel bad for any author I read writing m/m that I read after this series. Tate and Logan are a damn hard act to follow.
“No one else would ever do. You totally get me.”
